No podemos defraudarlos.

Questions I can't answer (and it's burning me up) Washington - Friend, these are the questions Dreamers ask me: "Will we be allowed to stay in the U.S.?" I don't know. I hope so. "When will we know?" I don't know. "If DACA ends, will we be deported immediately?" I don't know. I hope not. But there's one question I can answer; that all of us can answer: "Will you fight for me?" YES! This fight's not over and another important deadline is coming up. Dreamers are strong, resilient, optimistic young Americans, but they're nervous. The March deadline is the last realistic chance for Congressional action this year. Before we look at the path forward, a quick review of how we got here: 2010: Many Democrats were pressing for immigration reform/ dreamers to be the next issue after Obamacare was passed. But before that could happen, Democrats lost the crucial 60th Senate seat with the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy (a great supporter of immigration reform). 2010-2016: Republican leaders in

Congress do NOTHING, despite some bipartisan attempts. President Obama creates DACA. House Republicans sue to stop it. 2017-Present: Trump flip-flops between saying he wants to help and demonizing immigrants. He announces he's ending DACA by March 5th. Courts order him to keep the program going. Congress, again, does NOTHING. Nobody knows how or when the courts will rule. They will probably continue DACA for a few months at least, but they could end it at any time. Congress must act before that happens! I have voted against multiple funding bills that didn't protect Dreamers. Now, funding is coming up for the LAST time this year. Washington needs to know the American people still care about the Dreamers. That we want Congress to act NOW to protect them. The failure to deal with this issue isn't just government dysfunction. It is a terrible way to treat our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and sibling, some of whom have kids of their own. All of whom feel American in their hearts. We can't forget about them. We can't let them down.

Senator Nelson asks Treasury to ensure enforcement of Venezuela sanctions amid reports of cryptocurrency exchanges Washington - U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin requesting information regarding what steps, if any, the Treasury Department has taken to ensure that Venezuela’s now dictator, Nicolás Maduro, is not permitted to avoid or undermine U.S. sanctions through new financial innovations—like cryptocurrency. “What is the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) doing to prevent Maduro and other sanctioned entities from avoiding or undermining U.S. sanctions by using or creating cryptocurrencies?” Nelson asked. “What does the Department plan to do to crack down on rogue cryptocurrency exchanges that flaunt U.S. sanctions?”

In a signal that U.S. and international sanctions are putting pressure on Maduro, the Venezuela government reportedly launched a cryptocurrency, known as the Petro, to evade U.S. and international sanctions imposed upon the Maduro regime. Left unchecked, such a move could significantly impair the ability of the U.S. and its allies to apply economic pressure on corrupt governments, like the Maduro regime. “Maduro must not be permitted to circumvent increasing economic sanctions. He is responsible for persistent human rights violations, political repression and the jailing of opponents, undermining democratic institutions, corruption, and widespread economic deprivation,” Nelson wrote. Nelson has repeatedly supported

tougher sanctions on Venezuela. Last October, he urged Sec. Mnuchin to sanction all 545 members of Venezuela’s constituent assembly and ban the import of Venezuela crude oil into the U.S., until constitutional order has been restored.

Rory McIlroy claims Arnold Palmer Invitational with stunning last round Orlando, FL - McIlroy wins by three shots to end 26-tournament drought and Tiger Woods tied for fifth, eight behind Northern Irishman. With eight birdies in his final 13 holes and five in his last six, McIlroy fired a tournament-low 8-under 64 on the Championship Course at Bay Hill Club & Lodge for a three-stroke victory over Bryson DeChambeau.

whom, too, injury frustrations have dogged much of his recent past. McIlroy confirmed his key part in the narrative for the master’s next month.

The win on Sunday had great meaning for the four-time major winner from Northern Ireland, who had grown close to the tournament host since he first competed in Arnie’s event in 2015. McIlroy finished third last year. This time he won the red cardigan sweater with an 18-under 270 totals.

It seemed somehow fitting that McIlroy returned to the winner’s circle – and in such swashbuckling style – at the event presided over by the golfing legend for so many years.

Woods was within one of the leadon the par-five 16th, a hole he had birdied on each of the previous three days. This time he drove well left and out of bounds; a bogey six to all intents ended his hopes of winning the tournament for a ninth time, albeit he couldn’t have reached McIlroy’s tally anyway. Another Woods dropped shot at the 17th contributed to a 69 and aggregate of 10 under. This is not the biggest win of Rory McIlroy’s career, but it is without question among the most significant. A day supposedly to confirm Tiger Woods’s status as the returning hero instead belonged to McIlroy, for

Celebrations of his last win, at the Tour Championship in September 2016, were cut short as news circulated of Palmer’s death.

“I've had quite a connection with Arnold Palmer over the past few years and I've been very fortunate to spend some time with him here, and he was always so nice to me,” McIlroy said. “I’ve got so many letters from him from wins and all sorts of stuff. I wish he would have been at the top of the hill to shake my hand when I came off the 18th green there, but hopefully he's proud of me with the way I played that back nine and tried to be as aggressive as I could and tried to take on shots when I needed to, just like he would have. So, yeah, it's sort of come full circle since that day in September in 2016, and just proud to be sitting up here and have my name on that trophy. The Palmer charge. It still works.

"La Gira" by Vico C By: Yolanda López Kissimmee, FL - We were able to talk to Master Vico C, who mentioned that he is very happy and excited about his upcoming visit that will be on Saturday, March 31 at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. We also spoke about how satisfied he is with the success of the film about his life“Vico C: La vida del filósofo” (Vico C: The life of the philosopher). He says that he had

many of his experiences that he would have liked to include but many had to be cut because of lack of time, one movie does not fit all his life. He also mentioned that he wants to have the opportunity to do a second saga to include more things and the 10 years in between from when the film ended to the present. We also asked him what differences he saw in the "Rap" genre of the past and now, and he told us that he does not see much, that it is practically the same, in the content of the lyrics and

that only the "trap" has changed which is the rhythm or the tempo. When we asked him what advice he would give to the rappers of this generation, he told us that he doesn’t have any for those who have already succeeded, because they do not need it and the new ones, those who are starting, he would tell them to see if they have talent for this and those who feel they are talented, should develop what they feel and find purpose in life.

Vico C. said that at the moment he is working on new songs, which tell true stories that he wants to have a good number of projects that are successes with a special production that forces people to talk about the songs. We met such a great person and great musician, who you don’t want to miss out on Saturday, March 31 at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee.
