Condado Osceola, FL - El pasado martes, 11 de junio, la Cámara de Comercio Puertorriqueña de la Florida Central (PRCCCF, por sus siglas en inglés) celebró una conferencia de prensa con el objetivo de dar a conocer sus nuevos proyectos para el Condado Osceola. PRCCCF reactivates Osceola Chapter Osceola County, FL -On Tuesday, June 11, the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida (PRCCCF) held a press conference aimed at publicizing its new projects for Osceola County. A large group of business owners, government representatives and media, accompanied their president, Mr. Amilcar Córdova, during the presentation of the new Osceola Chapter director, Lisse Dickson.
Among the events to be held are a series of training workshops dictated in Spanish and the creation of a group of referrals that will meet every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 109 Vermont Ave. It will be directed by Mrs. Deisamar De Soto. El gobernador Ron DeSantis firma CS/ HB 19: Programas de Importación de Medicamentos Recetados The Villages, FL - El 11 de junio, el gobernador Ron DeSantis firmó el CS/HB 19: Programas de Importación de Medicamentos Recetados, cumpliendo su promesa de encontrar soluciones innovadoras para los crecientes costos de atención médica que aquejan a los floridanos. El proyecto de ley establece dos programas: el Programa Canadiense de Importación de Medicamentos Recetados (Programa CPDI por sus siglas en inglés) y el Programa Internacional de Importación de Medicamentos Recetados (Programa IPDI por sus siglas en inglés) - para importar de manera segura al estado, medicamentos aprobados por la Administración Federal de Drogas y Alimentos (FDA) para el beneficio de los consumidores y programas públicos. El CS/HB 19 describe el proceso de importación, los estándares
de seguridad, los requisitos de distribución de medicamentos y las sanciones por violaciones de los requisitos del programa. Ambos programas también establecen criterios de elegibilidad para los tipos de medicamentos recetados que pueden importarse y las entidades que pueden exportar o importar medicamentos recetados. El proyecto de ley requiere que ambos programas busquen la aprobación o cooperación federal antes de importar medicamentos recetados. La administración del gobernador DeSantis actualmente está trabajando estrechamente con la Casa Blanca y el Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos de los Estados Unidos para presentar su plan para la importación de medicamentos recetados para su consideración.
Governor Ron DeSantis signs CS/HB 19: Prescription Drug Importation Programs The Villages, FL - On June 11th., Governor Ron DeSantis signed CS/ HB 19: Prescription Drug Importation Programs, delivering on his promise to find innovative solutions to the rising health care costs plaguing Floridians. The bill establishes two programs – the Canadian Prescription Drug Importation Program (CPDI Program) and the International Prescription Drug Importation Program (IPDI Program) – to safely import federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved prescription drugs into the state for the benefit of consumers and public programs. CS/HB 19 outlines the importation process, safety standards, drug
distribution requirements and penalties for violations of program requirements. Both programs also establish eligibility criteria for the types of prescription drugs which may be imported and the entities that may export or import prescription drugs. The bill requires both programs to seek federal approval or cooperation prior to importing prescription drugs. Governor DeSantis’ administration is currently working closely with the White House and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to submit its plan for the importation of prescription drugs for their consideration.

Taxpayers living, outside the U.S., must file a TAX return by June 17

Washington, D.C. - The Internal Revenue Service today reminded taxpayers living and working outside of the United States that they must file their 2018 federal income tax return by Monday, June 17. The June 17 deadline applies to both U.S. citizens and resident aliens abroad, including those with dual citizenship. An extension of time to file is available for those who cannot meet this filing deadline. Most people abroad need to file; just as most taxpayers in the United States are required to file their tax returns with the IRS by April 15, those living and working in another country are also required to file. However, an automatic two-month deadline extension is granted and in 2019 that date is June 17. Payments for taxes owed were due April 15; Interest, currently at the rate of 6 percent per year, compounded daily, still applies to any tax payment received after the original April 15 deadline. For details, see the “When to File and Pay” section in Publication 54, Tax Guide for U.S. Citizens and Resident Aliens Abroad. Reporting required for foreign accounts and assets; Federal law requires U.S. citizens and resident aliens to report any worldwide income, including income from foreign trusts and foreign bank and securities accounts. In most cases, affected taxpayers need to complete and attach Schedule B to their tax return. Part III of Schedule B asks about the existence of foreign accounts, such as bank and securities accounts, and usually requires U.S. citizens to report the country in which each account is located. Foreign accounts reporting deadline ; Separate from reporting specified foreign financial assets on their tax return, taxpayers with an interest in, or signature or other authority over, foreign financial accounts whose aggregate value exceeded $10,000 at any time during 2018, must file electronically with the Treasury Department a Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR). Because of this threshold, the IRS encourages taxpayers with foreign assets, even relatively small ones, to check if this filing requirement applies to them. The form is only available through the BSA E-filing System website. Automatic extensions available; Taxpayers abroad who can’t meet the June 17 deadline can still get more
time to file, but they need to ask for it. An extension request must be filed by June 17. Automatic extensions give people until October 15, 2019, to file; however, this does not extend the time to pay tax. Combat zone taxpayers get more time without having to ask for it; Members of the military and eligible support personnel serving in a combat zone have at least 180 days after they leave the combat zone to file their tax returns and pay any taxes due. This includes those serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and other combat zones. A list of designated combat zones can be found in Publication 3, Armed Forces’ Tax Guide. Choose Free File; U.S. citizens and resident aliens living abroad can use IRS Free File to prepare and electronically file their returns for free. This means both U.S. citizens and resident aliens living abroad with adjusted gross incomes (AGI) of $66,000 or less can use brandname software to prepare their tax returns and then e-file them for free. A limited number of companies provide tax software that can accommodate foreign addresses. A second option, Free File Fillable Forms (PDF), the electronic version of IRS paper forms, has no income limit and is best suited to people who are comfortable preparing their own tax return. Report in U.S. dollars; Any income received, or deductible expenses paid in foreign currency must be reported on a U.S. tax return in U.S. dollars. Likewise, any tax payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Any U.S. taxpayer living abroad with tax questions can refer to the International Taxpayers page on IRS. gov and use the IRS Tax Map and the International Tax Topic Index to get answers. Taxpayers with foreign financial accounts that report their accounts to the U.S Treasury Department should also visit the FBAR Fact Sheet posted on IRS.gov. Taxpayers who are looking for tax return preparers abroad should visit the Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications. To help avoid delays with tax refunds, taxpayers living abroad should visit the Helpful Tips for Effectively Receiving a Tax Refund for Taxpayers Living Abroad page. He makes irrational decisions based on emotions rather than careful analysis and the advice of experts. He is obsessed with the media and his own celebrity and views himself through that lens. He is very insecure and feels inadequate about his lack of knowledge of many basic issues that are essential for competent governing. He hates to be scorned and made the butt of jokes. But he loves to ridicule others and makes mocking impressions of them. Many people thought he was an incompetent clown that they could easily manipulate and control. But his stubbornness, authoritarian tendencies, ruthlessness and vindictiveness showed that he could not be controlled by his staff and other high-level government officials. His popularity is based on sowing fear, creating sharp divisions in the population, fomenting mistrust,
insecurity and hate. He supports the myth of a white society that embodies the true values of the country that is threatened by foreign immigrants, minorities and dangerous criminals within the society and terrorists from without. Socialists, progressives and leftists, if allowed to gain power, will destroy the country. They are the enemies and must be defeated at any cost. There are powerful, secret political forces that that seek to undermine him and the country to advance their own selfish, diabolical interests. Large private corporations and the wealthy benefit greatly from his economic policies that promote an economy that is free from the constraints of government regulation, unions and organized labor. The country can return to its former glory, if the white population can re-assert its authority and prevent leftist elements, minorities and immigrants from gaining power. The courts should not be independent and should comply with his authoritarian policies. History shows that many of the worst man-made events are the result of those who willingly compromise democratic institutions to an authoritarian order that promises to restore the former glory of a white ruling class that has lost its former prestige, respect and authority. Does this sound like someone we all recognize who presently occupies the White House? Think again. Los favoritos de las Copa Oro y América Los dos torneos más importantes del continente comienzan este viernes. En Brasil y en Estados Unidos, respectivamente, arrancarán la Copa América y la Copa Oro. Copa América Por primera vez desde 1991, la Copa América se jugará sin la participación de México, en vez de invitar a la CONCACAF, para llenar las 12 plazas la CONMEBOL decidió invitar a Qatar y Japón. Brasil es el gran favorito, a pesar de la ausencia de Neymar, quien se perderá todo el torneo. Cada vez que una Copa América es en Brasil, la ganan los brasileños. Aún sin Neymar Jr., con jugadores como Gabriel Jesus, Arthur, Douglas Costa, Richarlison, o el arquero Alisson, el equipo de “Tite” parte como amplio favorito en las apuestas. Me sorprendería mucho que la canarinha no saliera campeona. Como principal competidor, tendrá a la actual bi-subcampeona del torneo, Argentina. La albiceleste ha perdido 4 finales desde su último título, en 1993. Pero de aquella Argentina finalista en 2015 y 16 queda poco. Ya han cambiado de técnico tres veces, y ya no está Higuaín, Mascherano, Romero, entre otros. Es una mezcla de jugadores locales (4 de River, 1 de Boca, 1 de Racing), algunas futuras promesas europeas (Lautaro, Dybala, Paredes), y la tripleta de siempre: Messi, Agüero y Di María. Ah, y un par de jugadores del América. El técnico, Lionel Scaloni, empezó como interino y se terminó quedando, y no le ha ido muy bien
en estos nueve meses al frente. Si aquella Argentina de hace años no quedó campeona, veo difícilmente que esta sí. Y cualquier cosa que no es el título, será visto como un fracaso. ¿Quién más puede dar la sorpresa? Las estrellas de los bicampeones, Chile, se han hecho viejos, y dudo que les alcance siquiera para las semifinales. Uruguay es de los más fuertes, pero, al igual que Chile, sus máximas figuras rebasan los 30, y no son los mismos de hace años. A pesar de eso, serán un trabuco. Colombia es siempre un rival duro, y podrían llegar lejos. Perú juega bien, pero no tienen suficientes armas para llegar lejos. Copa Oro La primera Copa Oro con 16 plazas será jugada, por octava ocasión consecutiva, en los Estados Unidos. La gran favorita, a pesar de las ausencias, es la selección mexicana. Con el “Tata” Martino, México ha tenido solo victorias, ante puro rival sudamericano. El buen momento de jugadores como Pizarro o Raúl, debería ser suficiente para que México se corone sin apuros. Su rival más fuerte, como siempre, serán los Estados Unidos. La selección de las barras y las estrellas se sigue lamiendo las heridas tras no calificar al pasado mundial. El nuevo proceso de Gregg Berhalter genera más dudas que certezas, y están pasando por un proceso de renovación. Aun así, deberían llegar a la final. Costa Rica, sin Keylor Navas, difícilmente dará la sorpresa.

Oh, and a couple of players from Club America. The coach, Lionel Scaloni, started as an interim and ended up
staying, and has not fared very well in these nine months at the helm. If that Argentina of years ago wasn’t a champion, this one will hardly be. And anything that is not the title will be a failure. Who else can surprise? The stars of the two-time champions, Chile, have grown old, and I doubt that they will even reach the semis. Uruguay is one of the strongest, but, like Chile, its top players exceed 30, and they’re not the same as they were years ago. Despite that, they will be a power force. Colombia is always a tough opponent, and they could go far. Peru plays beautifully, but they don’t have enough weapons to make the distance. Gold Cup The first Gold Cup with 16 teams will be played, for the eighth consecutive occasion, in the United States. The big favorite, despite the absences, is the Mexican national team. With "Tata" Martino, Mexico has had nothing but victories, against only South American rivals. The good moment of players like Pizarro or Raúl, should be enough for Mexico to get the crown without any issue. The strongest rival, as always, will be the United States. The stars and stripes is still licking its wounds after not qualifying the last world cup. The new Gregg Berhalter era generates more doubts than certainties and is undergoing a process of renovation. Still, they should reach the final. Costa Rica, without Keylor Navas, will hardly surprise.
