A MESSAGE FROM OUR President
Today’s real estate market is increasingly influenced by global events, making it essential for REALTORS® to understand how broader economic and geopolitical forces shape local conditions here in Osceola County.
Economic uncertainty remains a major factor. Inflation and fluctuating interest rates continue to challenge affordability, causing some buyers to pause or adjust their expectations. As a result, we are seeing more measured demand, longer days on market, and a growing need for creative financing strategies. Sellers, in turn, must be more strategic with pricing and preparation to remain competitive.
Global instability and geopolitical tensions are also affecting consumer confidence. While some buyers are taking a waitand-see approach, others continue to view real estate as a stable, long-term investment, helping to sustain activity, particularly among those focused on Central Florida’s long-term growth.
Migration trends remain a bright spot for our local market. Osceola County continues to benefit from inbound relocation, driven by relative affordability, lifestyle appeal, and proximity to major employment centers. Remote and hybrid work models are still enabling buyers to prioritize quality of life, supporting demand in our community.

At the same time, supply chain challenges and construction costs have slowed new development, contributing to limited inventory. This dynamic continues to support home values while creating competitive conditions for well-priced properties.
Additionally, rising insurance costs and climate-related concerns are becoming more prominent in buyer decision-making, particularly across Florida.
Despite these uncertainties, opportunities remain. A shifting market rewards knowledgeable, adaptable professionals.
