This new and ongoing early literacy program encourages families and caregivers to read 1,000 books aloud with their young children before they enter Kindergarten. Any child from birth until he/she starts Kindergarten is eligible to register. Reading together helps your child develop important pre-reading skills that provide a solid reading foundation – a key to scholastic and learning success.
