PRE-PREP ROAD UPGRADE The Pre-Prep area is a key area of Orwell and is in urgent need of development.

To ensure safe access for families and staff, we plan to resurface and redesign the Pre-Prep road.

This support will: Improve traffic flow during busy drop-off and pick-up times Enhance drainage to reduce flooding and surface water issues Provide safer pedestrian routes for those accessing the school

ESTATE LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS Maintaining safe visibility across such a large estate is a challenge.

We aim to instal modern, energyefficient lighting that improves safety while reducing environmental impact.

This support will: increase safety for pupils, staff and visitors reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint illuminate key pathways, car parks and boarding routes

POOL REFURBISHMENT Our Pool is a special feature of the school but needs refurbishment and repair. We are looking to provide new covers and a new pool lining, new copig stones, paving and slabs.

This support will: Enhance safety and water quality Improve the experience for pupils and visiting schools which will be a good marketing opportunity Support sport, wellbeing and confidence-building

PAVILION RESTORATION To ensure the pavilion remains fit for purpose, we plan to restore the structure, and create a more useable space for matches and events.

This support will: Restore and preserve the pavilion for future generations of pupils Provide access to running water and essential amenities Create a more practical space for matches and events with changing facilities

BOILER & HEATING Much of our heating infrastructure is ageing and inefficient and the main boiler is currently serviced by a temporary replacement.

Upgrading the boiler system is essential to ensure boarding houses, bathrooms and communal spaces are comfortable.

This support will: Replace ageing and inefficient heating infrastructure Install a reliable, long-term boiler solution for the school Enhance the wellbeing and comfort of pupils, staff and visitors

BURSARIES: CHANGING LIVES Every year, talented and hardworking pupils from a variety of backgrounds seek the chance to join Orwell Park. Our bursary programme provides life-changing opportunities for children who could not otherwise access an Orwell education.

This support will: Provide life-changing educational opportunities for gifted and talented pupils.

Free up other sources of income for capital projects.

SPORTS HALL STAGE CURTAINS The original stage curtains are no longer fit for purpose and must be replaced.

This is a statement space in the school and the visual image undermines the excellence of our drama and music productions.

This support will: Enhance the appearance of one of the school's key performance spaces Create a more professional setting for drama productions, concerts and events
