DÉSIR D’EUROPE ?

L’Europe est durement mise à l’épreuve aujourd’hui. Cela se révèle particulièrement via la problématique des migrants, chassés du moyen-orient par la guerre, les exactions et la terreur de l’extrêmisme de l’islam radical qui gagne du terrain. Chaque pays a ses « solutions », ses pratiques, ses obligations : mais quelles sont les convergences ? On n’entrevoit pas, dans ce domaine-là comme dans beaucoup d’autres, l’esquisse d’un discours européen, intégré, fort.

Bien sûr, il ne serait pas supportable qu’on entende en permanence parler d’Europe sous forme incantatoire. Mais quand même : plus d’Europe et surtout mieux d’Europe ne serait pas un luxe…

Pour l’heure, l’Europe économique, voulue dès le départ comme devant servir de socle solide pour une vraie Union forte et complète, est restée en l’état. Plus comme une base que comme un socle d’ailleurs, tant là aussi les failles sont nombreuses. Le véritable défi pour les générations futures est sans doute de bâtir cette Europe plus forte, plus unie et mieux intégrée.

Cela passera forcément par Strasbourg et son Parlement européen…

DESIRE FOR EUROPE ?

Europe is being severely put to the test today. This is particularly seen in the issue of migrants, driven out of the Middle East by war, and the atrocities and terror of the extremism of radical Islam that is gaining ground. Each country has its "solutions", its practices, its obligations: but what are the similarities? We do not foresee in that area as in many others, the outline of a European discourse, integrated, safe.

Of course, it would not be bearable to constantly hear about Europe in incantatory form. But still: more Europe and especially better Europe is not a luxury...

For now, the EU economy, as intended from the start to serve as a solid foundation for a real strong and comprehensive Union, remains unchanged.

More as a base than a platform for that matter, as there are also many loopholes. The real challenge for future generations will probably be to build this stronger Europe, more united and integrated.

This will inevitably pass through Strasbourg and the European Parliament...

LUST AUF EUROPA ?

Europa steht in diesen Wochen auf dem Prüfstand.

Das Thema der Flüchtlinge, die der Krieg im mittleren Osten aus ihrer Heimat treibt, und der Terror radikaler Islamisten, der an Boden gewinnt, zeigen das mehr als genug. Jedes einzelne europäische Land präsentiert seine Lösungen und seine Verpflichtungen. Aber wie soll das zusammen gehen? Nirgends hört man klare Worte, die für die Vision eines starken Europas stehen.

Natürlich wäre es unerträglich, wenn man sich gebetsmühlenartig Reden über Europa anhören müsste.

Aber dennoch: Mehr Europa und vor allem ein besseres Europa wären kein Luxus.

Für den Augenblick ist das ökonomische Europa, wie es von Anfang an als Sockel der europäischen Einigung gedacht war, intakt geblieben. Mehr als Basis denn übrigens als Sockel. Seine Fehlstellen sind dort zahlreich.

Die wahre Herausforderung für künftige Generationen wird ein stärkeres, geeinteres und besser integriertes Europa sein.

Ohne Straßburg und sein Europäisches Parlament wird das nicht gelingen…

F E ST I VA L A U G E N B L I C K Programmation détaillée : www.festival-augenblick.fr Du 10 au 27 novembre Du 10 au 27 novembre, un peu partout en Alsace et bien sûr à Strasbourg, le cinéma allemand et des autres pays germanophones va être particulièrement à l’honneur à Strasbourg, dans le cadre de l’annuel rendez-vous du festival Augenblick (Coup d’œil, en français).

Au programme, trente films sélectionnés dans le répertoire germanophone, deux programmes de courts-métrages et plus d’une vingtaine de films totalement inédits en France. C’est une comédie parodique de films de vampires, « Thérapie pour un vampire » qui ouvrira le Festival 2015.

Si la nouvelle génération des réalisateurs d’outreRhin va être placée sous les feux des projecteurs lors de la compétition (leurs films sont actuellement à l’affiche des cinémas en Allemagne et en Autriche), on annonce aussi une rétrospective de films réalisés mais immédiatement censurés sous le régime de l’ex-RDA. Parmi ces films, « La trace des Pierres » annoncé comme un chef-d’œuvre de Franck Beyer avec Manfred Krug dans le rôle principal.

Six fils sélectionnés parmi l’actualité des sorties en Allemagne, Suisse et Autriche vont être suivis de débats avec leurs réalisateurs.

Dans la section « Coup de cœur » (des productions inédites sorties à l’étranger et que Augenblick souhaite mettre en avant), on attend avec impatience de découvrir « Freistatt », inspiré de la vie de Wolfgang Rosenkötter, un jeune adolescent qui a connu les affres d’un camp de travail maquillé en centre éducatif pour jeuens garçons. Wolfgang Rosenkötter sera personnellement présent sur la quasi totalité des projections de ce film en Alsace.

La section « Incontournables » sera bien lancée par la projection de son film-vedette « Victoria », considéré comme le film-événement de 2015. Certains des films programmés dans cette section seront projetés en véritable « avant-première » renforçant ainsi le caractère innovant et précurseur de Augenblick qui en sera cette année à sa 11ème édition. A noter un événement tout à fait particulier, la mise sur pied

d’un ciné-concert. Sur l’écran, « Berlin, symphonie d’une grande ville » un célère documentaire datant de 1927. Pour la mise en musique en live, le groupe de rock/dub Zenzile. Augenblick, organisé par les cinémas indépendants d’Alsace mobilise les énergies autour de 37 cinémas et lieux de projection, du nord au sud de la région. A Strasbourg, ce sont les Cinémas Star qui sont les fers de lance.

THE CREAM OF GERMAN CINEMA IN STRASBOURG From 10th to 27th November, all over Alsace and of course in Strasbourg, German and other German-speaking countries cinema will be particularly honoured in Strasbourg, as part of the annual event of the Augenblick festival (Wink, in English).

The program comprises thirty films selected in the German repertoire, two programs of short films and more than a dozen unreleased films in France. It is a parodic comedy vampire movies, "therapy for a vampire' that will open the 2015 Festival. If the new generation of filmmakers in Germany will be placed under the spotlight during the competition (their films are currently showing in cinemas in Germany and Austria), a retrospective of films made but immediately censored under the former GDR is also announced. Six films selected from the new releases in Germany, Switzerland and Austria will be followed by discussions with the filmmakers.

In the "Favourite" category (exclusive productions released abroad and that Augenblick aims to highlight), we look forward to discover "Freistatt," based on the life of Wolfgang Rosenkötter, a young teenager who lived in the throes of a labour camp disguised as an educational centre for young boys. Wolfgang Rosenkötter will be present at almost all screenings of this film in Alsace. The "Must-see" category will be kicked off by the screening of its feature film "Victoria", considered the event film of 2015. Some of the films screened in this category will be screened in real "preview" reinforcing the innovative and precursor character of Augenblick that will be this year in its 11th edition. Also of note a very special event, the establishment of a concert film. Showing, "Berlin: Symphony of a Great City," a famous documentary dating to 1927. For the live accompaniment music, the rock/ dub band Zenzile. Augenblick, hosted by independent cinemas in Alsace, mobilizes energies around 37 cinemas and screening venues, from the north to the south of the

DIE ELITE DES DEUTSCHEN KINOS ZU GAST IN STRASSBURG Vom 10.bis 27. November zieht wieder das Festival des deutschsprachigen Films « Augenblick » in die elsässischen Filmtheater ein.

Auf dem Programm stehen eine Auswahl von 30 deutschsprachigen Filmen, Kurzfilme und etwa 20 bislang in Frankreich noch gar nicht gezeigte Werke. Eröffnet wird das Fest in diesem Jahr von einer Vampirfilm-Parodie : « Therapie für einen Vampir » (Thérapie pour un vampire)».

Im Wettbewerb stehen Filme einer neuen, jungen Generation von Regisseuren, die aktuell auch in den deutschen und österreichischen Kinos zu sehen sind.

Darüber hinaus zeigt eine Retrospektive auch Filme aus der ehemaligen DDR, die zum Teil unmittelbar nach Fertigstellung der Zensur zum Opfer fielen, darunter « Die Spur der Steine » von Franck Beyer mit Manfred Krug in der Hauptrolle. Auf sechs ausgewählte aktuelle Filme aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz folgt eine

In dieser Reihe sind darüber hinaus echte Vorpremieren zu sehen – womit bewiesen wäre, dass « Augenblick » als Festival auch mit seiner 11.

Ausgabe ein Forum für Entdeckungen bietet.

Und nicht zu vergessen : Der DokumentarStummfilmklassiker mit Live-Musik – « Berlin, Symphonie einer Großstadt » aus dem Jahr 1927, musikalisch begleitet von Zenzile.

Augenblick wird organisisiert von den unabhängigen Kinos im Elsass, 37 Theatern in der Region von Norden nach Süden. In Straßburg sind die Star-Kinos für das Festival federführend.

::::::::: pav i l lo n v i t r é du Lieu d’Europe 8 rue Boecklin Du 17 au 27 novembre Après Luc Schuiten au Shadok, c'est au tour de Florin-Doru Crihana de revisiter Strasbourg. Considéré comme l'un des plus grands caricaturistes de notre temps, cet artiste roumain a attiré l’attention de la presse française en 2014, quand Le Monde avait choisi une de ses œuvres pour la série « La Valeur de la Pauvreté ». La même année où, à Rome, la revue « Migranti » publiait la série complète de 40 tableaux de Crihana, ayant le même sujet. Mais au-delà des caricatures, ce qui distingue Crihana de ses semblables tient en grande partie à ce regard onirique qu'il porte sur le monde et les villes qu'il traverse. Un regard mêlant aperçu fin et burlesque de leur histoire, fantaisie et vision aiguisée, aussi, d'un monde aux identités complexes, sinon complexifiées. Après Berne, Venise, Bruges, Legnica, et soixante villes en tout, c'est à Strasbourg qu'il s'attaque et s'attache. Et la revisite, elle aussi, entre deux mondes avec l'art d'un poète sans autre limite que celles de ses rêves de cités restructurées.

CRIHANA REDRAWS STRASBOURG After Luc Schuiten at the Shadok, it is now the turn of Florian-Doru Crihana to revisit Strasbourg. Considered one of the greatest cartoonists of our time, this Romanian artist drew the attention of the French press in 2014, when Le Monde chose one of his works for the series "Poverty value." The same year in which, in Rome, the magazine "Migranti" published the complete series of 40 drawings by Crihana, with the same subject. But beyond the caricatures, what distinguishes Crihana from his peers is that dreamy look he places over the world and cities he passes through. A look combining a subtle and burlesque overview of their history, fantasy and a sharpened vision, too, of a world with complex identities, if not getting more

complex. After Berne, Venice, Bruges, Legnica and sixty cities altogether, he now turns his attention to Strasbourg. And revisits it, too, between two worlds with the art of a poet whose only limit is that of his dreams of restructured cities.

CRIHANA ZEICHNET EIN NEUES BILD VON STRASSBURG Luc Schuiten hat als erster zeichnerisch eine neue Vision von Straßburg gezeichnet. Nun ist Florin-Doru Crihana, einer der bedeutendsten Karikaturisten unserer Zeit, an der Reihe. Crihana, der aus Rumänien stammt, hat die Aufmerksamkeit der französischen Presse auf sich gezogen, als Le Monde 2014 eine seiner Zeichnungen für die Serie « La Valeur de la Pauvreté » (Der Wert der Armut) ausgewählt hatte.

Ebenfalls im vergangenen Jahr veröffentlichte die in Rom verlegte Zeitschrift « Migranti » eine komplette Serie mit 40 von Crihanas Arbeiten. Jenseits der Karikatur unterscheidet Crihana sich von seinesgleichen durch seinen traumartigen Blick auf die Welt und die Städte, die er durchwandert. Als Zeichner vermischt er das Feine und das Burleske ihrer Geschichte, Fantasie und zugespitze Vision einer Welt offenbaren immer komplexer werdende Identitäten. Nach Bern, Venedig, Brügge, Legnica, nach zusammen 60 Städten, mit denen Crihana sich auseinandergesetzt hat, entdeckt er Straßburg für sich. Er findet neue Seiten zwischen zwei Welten mit der Kunst eines Poeten, dem allein seine Träume von umgestalteten Städten Grenzen setzen.

Né en Roumanie en 1896, il s’appelait Samuel Rosenstock avant de partir pour Zurich en 1916 où il se lia avec Hans Arp. Le jeune homme qu’il était alors avait d’ores et déjà choisi son pseudonyme et opté pour l’écriture afin de lutter contre l’absurdité d’un monde au bord du chaos.

Quatre ans plus tard il est en France et se lie avec les Picabia, Aragon, Breton, Soupault qui ne s’appelaient pas encore « Surréalistes ». En 1936 on le retrouve aux côtés des Républicains dans Madrid assiégée et durant la deuxième guerre mondiale, réfugié dans le Lot, il noua des contacts avec la Résistance pour finalement s’inscrire au Parti communiste français en 1947. Cela ne l’empêcha pas de condamner l’invasion de la Hongrie en 1956. Révolté par essence, engagé, il signera aussi le « Manifeste des 121 » contre la guerre d’Algérie… Jamais il ne se taira. Jamais il ne lâchera prise, traversant la première moitié du XXe siècle aux côtés de ceux qui osent et qui créent.

L’exposition dresse le portrait de ce « poète, écrivain d’art, collectionneur » en juxtaposant manuscrits, livres, photographies ou bien encore œuvres d’art créées par ses amis de haut vol.

Arp, Brancusi, Calder, Chirico, Dali, Delaunay, Max Ernst, Giacometti, Juan Gris, Klee, Miro, Perahim, Picabia, Picasso, Hans Richter, Schwitters, Sophie Taeuber, Zadkine… en furent parmi tant d’autres. Ils sont tous représentés aux cimaises de l’exposition, dressant un portrait de cet homme vibrionnant fasciné par les arts premiers et tendu vers l’à venir.

his pseudonym and opted for writing, in order to fight against the absurdity of a world on the brink of chaos.

Four years later, he is in France and mingles with the likes of Picabia, Aragon, Breton, Soupault, who were not yet known as "Surrealists". In 1936 we find him alongside the Republicans in besieged Madrid, and during the Second World War, settled in the Lot, he established contacts with the Resistance before finally enrolling in the French Communist Party in 1947.

This did not prevent him from condemning of the invasion of Hungary in 1956. Revolted by nature, engaged, he would also sign the "Manifesto of the 121" against the war in Algeria... He is never silent. He never lets go, riding through the first half of the twentieth century alongside those who dare and create. The exhibition portrays the "poet, art writer, collector" by juxtaposing manuscripts, books, photographs and also artwork created by his high-flying friends.

« DER UNGEFÄHRE MANN » Tristan Tzara, der Unermüdliche. Geboren wurde er 1896 in Rumänien als Samuel Rosenstock. 1916 ging er nach Zürich und schloss sich mit Hans Arp zusammen. Da hatte der junge Tzara sein Pseudonym bereits angenommen und verschrieb sich der Schriftstellerei, um gegen die Absurdität einer Welt zu kämpfen, die sich am Rande des Chaos befand.

Vier Jahre später gehörte er den Kreisen um Picabia, Aragon, Breton, Soupault an, die sich damals noch nicht Surrealisten nannten.

1936 findet man ihn auf der Seite der Republikaner im besetzten Madrid des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Er knüpft Kontakte zur Résistance und tritt schließlich 1947 der Kommunistischen Partei bei.

Das hindert ihn nicht daran, den Einmarsch in Ungarn 1956 zu verurteilen. Das Aufbegehren, die Revolte gehören zu seiner Natur. So unterzeichnet er auch das Manifest der 121 gegen den Algerienkrieg.

Niemals wird Tzara schweigen. Niemals wird er aufgeben, wenn er an der Seite derer, die wagemutig und schöpferisch tätig sind, die erste Hälfte des 20.

Jahrhunderts durchschreitet.

Die Straßburger Ausstellung zeichnet das Porträt des Dichters, Schriftstellers und des Sammlers, indem sie Manuskripte, Bücher, Fotografien aber auch Kunstwerke, die seine berühmten Freunde geschaffen haben, zusammenfügt.

Arp, Brancusi, Calder, Chirico, Dali, Delaunay, Max Ernst, Giacometti, Juan Gris, Klee, Miro, Perahim, Picabia, Picasso, Hans Richter, Schwitters, Sophie Taeuber, Zadkine sind darunter. Auch sie sind Teil dieser Ausstellung über einen für die Kunst vibrierenden Mann, der von der Kunst fasziniert war und in die Zukunft schaute.

Laiterie - 20h Jeudi 26 Novembre 2015 Certains artistes ont une grâce inouïe. Un talent presque infini. Capables de se mouvoir entre deux vies d'artistes. Entre différentes « Places » magistralement habitées après avoir eu de « Mauvaises fréquentations » ou d'être passé par la case « Polisse ». « Where to start », pour parler de Lou. Lou comme Doillon, « fille de » mais bien plus que cela. Comme si la jeune actrice avait, la trentaine venue enfin trouvé sa véritable voix sans rien laisser derrière sinon un joli « left behind » ou un tendre « Weekender baby » avant de retrouver son « Good Man ». Lou... Le regard dans le rétro des années Jacques and Jane, nul n'aurait sans doute prédit ce petit bout de chemin. Bien sûr, il y avait des prédispositions, une beautée brut, presque sauvage, envoûtante qui ajoute au charme de l'ensemble.

Mais ce grain de voix, de suite reconnaissable, ces mélodies douces amer, cette force timide forment un ensemble quasi irrésistible. Un diamant – brut au départ – mais qui se taille progressivement dans une route « So still » mais, finalement tellement élégante que ce qu'on n'imaginait pas quelques années en arrière, s'impose comme une évidence. Lou a un talent unique, rare, précieux que l'on s'était déjà plu à apprécier quelques années plus tôt en show case aux Eurockéennes. Que l'on se reprendra sans nul doute à savourer sous les chaudes lumières de la salle de la Laiterie. Parce que ces moments sont beaux, précieux, immanquables.

after having had "Bad Company" or going through the "Poliss". "Where to start" to talk about Lou. Lou, as in the daughter of [Jacques] Doillon, but much more than that.

As if the young actress, turning thirty, had at last found her true voice, leaving nothing behind but a lovely "Left Behind" or a tender "Weekender baby" before returning to her "Good Man". Lou ... The retro look of the Jacques and Jane years, no one would probably have predicted this path. Of course, there were predispositions, a rough beauty, almost wild, mesmerizing, that adds to the charm of the whole. But this tone of voice, instantly recognizable, these bitter sweet melodies, this timid strength, together form an almost irresistible whole. A diamond – rough at the start - but that is carved progressively in a "So still" road but ultimately so much more elegant than we had imagined a few years back, has become evident. Lou has a unique talent, rare, valuable, that we as had already enjoyed some years earlier in a show case at the Eurockéennes. And that we will undoubtedly savour again under the hot lights of the hall of Laiterie. Because these moments are beautiful, precious, unmissable.

LOU, BIST DU DAS? Manche Künstler sind einfach begnadet. Sie besitzen ein schier unendliches Talent. Und sind in der Lage, sich zwischen zwei Künstlerexistenzen aufzuteilen. Zwischen unterschiedlichen « Places » (Plätzen), nachdem sie in « schlechter Gesellschaft » gewesen sind oder bei der « Polisse »(Polizei) vorbeigeschaut haben. Um von Lou oder Lou Doillon zu sprechen, die mehr ist als nur die « Tochter von », als habe die junge Schauspielerin kurz vor ihrem 30. Geburtstag ihre wahre Stimme entdeckt mit einem hübchen « left behind » oder einem sanften « Weekender baby », bevor sie ihren « Good Man » entdeckt hatte, ein Album eingespielt. Der Blick in den Rückspiegel in die Zeit ihrer Eltern Jacques Doillon und Jane Birkin hätte diesen, ihren Weg nicht vorhersehen lassen. Natürlich gab es bestimmte Vorbedingungen dafür wie eine raue, fast wilde Schönheit und einen einnehmenden Charme. Vor allem aber ist ihre Stimme unverwechselbar, ihre bitter-süßen Melodien bilden zusammen mit ihrer schüchternen Kraft ein unwiderstehliches Ensemble. Ein Diamant, anfangs roh, der mit der Zeit « so still » immer geschliffener wird, aber schließlich so elegant, dass er sich, wenn man ihn sich einige Jahre früher vorstellt, wie selbstverständlich aufdrängt. Lous Talent ist einzigartig. Man hätte sie schon damals bei den Eurockéennes für sich entdecken können. Was wir ganz ohne Zweifel nun im warmen Licht der Laiterie nachholen werden. Weil man solche Momente keinesfalls verpassen darf.

Le signe, peut-être, que la petite française pourrait un jour en venir à jouer dans la cour des (très) grands. Un petit parfum de paradis artistique préfiguré par « Sounds like heaven »...

Laiterie - 19h30 Mardi 24 Novembre 2015 Subtil mélange de force et de douceur, en mode « Fearless », Marina Kaye poursuit son petit bonhomme de chemin d' « Homeless » qui aurait enfin trouvé une demeure bien plus à sa taille que celle de sa seule commune d'Allauch, dont la jeune femme est originaire. Une demeure monde, tant son talent paraît sans limites géographiques, et dont « Dancing with the devil » n'en est qu'une illustration qui n'a pas échappé à Thirty seconds to Mars ou encore à Lindsey Stirling dont elle a récemment assuré les premières parties.

Subtle blend of strength and softness in "Fearless" mode, Marina Kaye continues her merry way of "Homeless" who would have finally found a home much more fitted to her size than that of the sole town of Allauch, from where the young woman comes from. A world home, as her talent seems to know no geographical boundaries and whose 'Dancing with the devil "is but an illustration that has not escaped Thirty seconds to Mars or Lindsey Stirling, for whom she recently assured first parts. Marina Kaye, the story of a sad and a bit chav TV talent show appearance that – exception to the rule - revealed an artist who would sign shortly afterwards with Capitol Records. An artist, too, whose vocal identity is sometimes reminiscent of Rihanna singing Diamonds. A sign perhaps, that the little French girl might one day come to play in the yard of the (very) great. A little perfume of artistic paradise prefigured by "Sounds like heaven ..."

Ein Zuhause von Welt, so sehr erscheint ihr Talent keine geographischen Grenzen zu besitzen. « Dancing with the devil » ist da nur eine Illustration wozu sie in der Lage ist.

Nicht von ungefähr hat sie im Vorprogramm von Thirty seconds to Mars und Lindsey Stirling gesungen. Marina Kaye ist durch ein Casting-Format bekant geworden, was eher langweilig und wenig erwähnenswert ist. Weshalb sie die Ausnhame von der Regel ist. Mit ihr ist eine wirkliche Künstlerin entdeckt worden, die gleich nach der Show einen Vertrag bei Capitol Records unterschrieb. Ihre Stimmgewalt zwingt einen mitunter geradezu zu einem Vergleich mit Rihanna, wenn diese Diamonds singt. Wer weiß, vielleicht spielt die kleine Französin eines Tages m Kreis der (ganz) Großen mit. Ein kleiner Vorgeschmack auf das künstlerische Paradies, das in « Sounds like heaven » vorweggenommen wird.

Laiterie - 20h Mercredi 25 Novembre 2015 Hyppie aristo revival. A peu de choses près la marque de fabrique du néerlandais Jacco Gardner. Sorte d'improbable rencontre entre Hair, Amicalement vôtre et psychotropes musicaux post 70s. d' « Another you » à « Find yourself » qu'Air – sans le H – n'aurait sans doute pas renié, en passant par « Before the Dawn » ou « Hypophobia », les mélodies de Gardner ont quelque chose d'hypnothique, empreinté à un temps suspendu entre deux supernovas spatio temporelles. Transportent au-delà des réalités et des songes à la fois. Dans un entre-deux, confus et maîtrisé à la fois. Presque clinique, extasy quasicinématographique, « All over » des clichés rapides et désuets mais sans toutefois renier une atmosphère emprunte de déliquescence atificielle. Parce qu'à mesure que l'on hume l'Hair de Gardner, quelque chose d'irrésistible s'empare de nous : une tendre désinvolture, de celle qui nous emmène sur un petit nuage cotonneux de poudre lumineuse.

GARDNER CULTIVATES HIS DIFFERENCE Aristo hippie revival. Pretty much the trademark of Dutchman Jacco Gardner. Improbable meeting between Hair, The Persuaders and post psychotropic 70s music. From "Another You" to "Find yourself", that Air - without the H - probably would not have denied, via "Before the Dawn" or "Hypophobia", Gardner's melodies have something hypnotic about them, borrowed from a time suspended between two spatial temporal supernovas. They transport beyond the realities and dreams all at once. An inbetween, confused and mastered both at the same time. Almost clinical, almost cinematic ecstasy, "All 18

Godot ENFIN RENCONTRÉ !

Als Hauptact des Konzerts müsste eigentlich der Schwede Jay Jay Johanson angekündigt werden, Johanson mit seinem jazzig inpirierten Pop-Rock und dieser Seele, die nur wenige transportieren. Jay Jay hat diese subtilen, eindringlichen Melodien, die wie eine musikalischsinnliche, Opium getränkte Droge daherkommen. Als säße man in einem Loft am East River zu Beginn des Winters oder einem der mit Rasen bedeckten Rooftops der Spinnerei in Leipzig. Aber voilà, ganz ohne Rooftops, kommt Thomas Joseph vom kleinen Straßburger Label Hrzfld an mit seiner reinen Sensibilität, sanft und melancholisch, wie eine dieser weißen Milchwolken, die unserer Epoche alles Ätzende nehmen. Thomas Joseph - ein Ausnahmemusiker, der es einem schwer macht zu sagen, Jay Jay sei der Hauptact dieses Abends. Zwei Musikwelten, die auf den ersten Blick grundverschieden sind, weil Joseph seinen Pop stärker in Richtung Electro lo-fi orientiert hat. Schlussendlich ergänzen sich beide aufs Beste. Verschieden und dabei inspirierend. Die Poesie, sagte Paul Celan, ist eine Begegnung. Die Laiterie hat eine hervorragende Wahl getroffen, indem sie die beiden Wege wie Milchwolken und flimmernde Bilder zusammengeführt hat. Kaum hat der Abend begonnen, starten wir schon auf unsere wunderbare Reise.

Inévitablement. Mais a-t-on seulement vu Godot. Tel qu'il est, avant son adaptation par Jean-Pierre Vincent ? Tel une tragi-comédie et non plus comme un simple tunnel littéraire ? « Ce qui m’a porté à relire, ou plutôt à lire Godot, explique Jean-Pierre Vincent, c’est le sentiment intime, de plus en plus précis, de l’obsolescence programmée de l’Humanité, de l’intuition d’une 'potentielle fin du monde' qui traverse parfois chacune et chacun d’entre nous. » D'une « anticipation » dès 1948, de l'état de notre monde actuel au travers de la réalité de « ces deux types – clochards, clowns, philosophes sans Dieu, écho du couple Beckett... – perdus dans l’ère du vide à l’époque même de la reconstruction du monde, rencontrant sur une vieille route le Maître et l’Esclave, déchets grotesques du 'monde d’avant'! Même pas tristes, un peu gais parfois, vivants » Deux types qui ne « sont pas là parce qu’ils attendent ».

Deux types qui « attendent parce qu’ils sont là... » et parce que « nous en sommes tous là ».

Là ? Cette ère, non plus des charniers de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, mais de « de la fabrication industrielle de l’humain solitaire » dépeinte sur fond de regard lucide et non absurde ; burlesque et non tragique, avec cette force comique de Beckett qui « nous évite (justement) de visiter son œuvre comme un musée qui prend la poussière ». Le tout, dans un dédale de « petites scènes très concrètes, espérantes et désespérantes » à la fois. Une rencontre du monde, bien plus qu'une longue attente. Une rencontre qui scelle toute la différence du travail de Jean-Pierre Vincent.

GODO FINALLY MET !

Waiting: this is what inspired the Godot Beckett.

Inevitably. But have we only seen Godot? As it was, before its adaptation by Jean-Pierre Vincent? As a tragicomedy and not as a mere literary tunnel? "What has led me to reread, or rather read Godot, says Jean-Pierre Vincent, is the intimate feeling, more and more precise, of he planned obsolescence of humanity, the intuition d a ‘potential end of the world’ that sometimes goes through each and every one of us. Of an " anticipation " as early as 1948, of the state of our world today through the reality of these two types - tramps, clowns, philosophers without God, echoes of the Beckett couple - lost in the era of emptiness, at the

same time as the reconstruction of the world, meeting on an old road the Master and Slave, grotesque figures of the 'world before'! Not even sad, sometimes gay, alive. Two guys who are "not there because they are waiting." Two guys who "wait because they are there..." and because "we are all at that point" There?

That era, not of the mass graves of the Second World War, but of "the industrial production of the lonely human" portrayed through a lucid and not ridiculous look; burlesque and not tragic, with this comic force of Beckett who "saves us (rightly) having to visit his work as a museum gathering dust." And all this, in a maze of "small, very concrete, both hopeful and despairing scenes". A meeting of the world, much more than a long wait. A meeting that seals the difference of the work of Jean-Pierre Vincent.

ENDLICH GODOT GETROFFEN !

In Becketts Godot geht es um das Warten.

Unverkennbar. Aber haben wir Godot überhaupt richtig gesehen ? So wie er ist, bevor Jean-Pierre Vincent ihn inszeniert hat? Als Tragikomödie und nicht als bloßen literarischen Tunnel ? « Was mich dazu getrieben hat, Godot zu lesen und wieder und wieder zu lesen », sagt Jean-Pierre Vincent, « war das intime, sich immer präziser sich formende Gefühl einer bevorstehenden Alterung der Menschheit und die Ahnung eines möglichen Endes der Welt, die jeden von uns erfassen kann. » Das Stück handelt von einer Vorwegnahme seit 1948, vom Zustand unserer heutigen Welt, gesehen durch die Realität dieser beiden Typen aus dem Stück – Clochards, Clowns, Philosophen ohne Gott, Echo der Beckettschen Paare und verloren in der Leere ihrer Epoche, als die Welt wiederaufgebaut wurde. Auf einer Straße treffen sie auf den Herrn und den Sklaven, den grotesken Abfall einer früheren Welt! Sie sind nicht traurig, manchmal sogar lustig, lebendig. Zwei, die nicht da sind, weil sie warten . Zwei Typen, die warten weil sie da sind und weil wir an diesem Punkt angekommen sind.

Vincent inszeniert Beckett burlesk und nicht tragisch, mit dieser komischen Kraft, die es verhindert, dass wir sein Werk wie ein Museum besichtigen. Das alles spielt sich in einer Abfolge kleiner, sehr konkreter Szenen ab, die zugleich Hoffnung wecken aber auch hoffungslos wirken. Eine Begegnung mit der Welt vielmehr als ein langes Warten. Eine Begegnung, die bezeichnend ist für das, was Jean-Pierre Vincents Arbeit von anderen unterscheidet.

Entre Sylvie Ribaut, Strasbourg et l’Europe tout a coulé de source depuis Lausanne où elle est née.

Un bout d’enfance en Suisse avant le grand départ vers la ville où elle allait grandir, non loin du Conseil de l’Europe où son père – Jean-Pierre Ribaut – avait pris la tête de la Division de l’environnement et, au bout du compte, le choix de rester. « Tout simplement, dit-elle, parce que je me sens merveilleusement bien à Strasbourg ». C’est donc ici qu’elle a créé son magasin de fleurs en 1985. Trente ans cette année !

Un anniversaire qu’elle va marquer par la mise en place d’une boutique en ligne à l’orée de 2016. « Vert Clair », son enseigne, sera ainsi ouverte 24 h / 24, 365 jours par an car « disponibilité » est l’un de ses mots-clés. Pas question de laisser le téléphone sonner dans le vide ou de ne pas prendre en charge une livraison. Comptant au nombre de ses clients le Conseil de l’Europe, le Parlement européen ou bien encore le Service du Protocole de la Ville de Strasbourg, Sylvie ne peut faire défaut. Il faut être sur le pont quoi qu’il advienne et les quatre membres de son équipe l’ont bien compris.

Les compositions florales jaunes et blanches de la visite papale ont ainsi été confectionnées par elle, de même que celles de la visite d’Angela Merckel. Tant d’autres… « La fleur porte la fête en elle, dit-elle, elle est apolitique, aconfessionnelle, universelle et apaisante. C’est toute sa magie. » Ses bouquets s’adaptent aux couleurs d’un pays, au minimalisme d’une Foire d’art contemporain, aux sensibilités des uns et des autres, aux circonstances…

Aucun n’est préparé à l’avance. Tous correspondent à un message, aux couleurs du temps ou des âmes.

Chacun est unique et… livré en voiture électrique car la dame au prénom bucolique tient au développement durable. Elle privilégie les producteurs locaux, soupèse le bilan carbone des fleurs cultivées en Colombie avec celui de celles élevées en serres hollandaises et tout cela en gardant au cœur la passion de son métier. « Il en faut, ditelle, car être artisan fleuriste indépendante aujourd’hui n’est guère facile. J’ai choisi le haut de gamme et l’originalité pour me démarquer, sans oublier la réactivité car pour travailler au Parlement européen, il faut être à même de livrer parfois entre 7 h et 21 h… ! » Elue « Madame Artisanat 2013 », Sylvie accorde beaucoup d’importance à la formation. Membre du comité directeur de la Fondation « Passion Alsace », elle suit des projets magnifiques qui vont de l’équithérapie à des actions pour les personnes âgées, les malades d’Alzheimer ou encore à la réhabilitation des roseraies du Château de la Leonardsau….. « Tout cela me pousse, me motive et je ne regrette pas de devoir parfois mettre ma vie personnelle entre parenthèses……» Quant à Strasbourg, c’est simple, Sylvie en est « amoureuse ». « La ville est si belle et puis, j’y ai mon ancrage. » SA TERRASSE PRÉFÉRÉE ? « Peut-être à l’arrière de la péniche Atlantico, 19 Quai des Pêcheurs, là où se couche sur l’eau un incroyable coucher de soleil. » SON RESTAURANT PRÉFÉRÉ ? « De ci de là, au gré des mes envies de cuisines du monde. » SON RENDEZ-VOUS INCONTOURNABLE ? « Sans hésiter le Forum européen de bioéthique. » Et la fleur chère à son cœur ? « La rose anglaise, celle des jardins pour son velouté et son parfum merveilleux. »

SYLVIE RIBAUT BRINGS FLOWERS TO EUROPE Between Sylvie Ribaut, Strasbourg, and Europe sank, all had been written since Lausanne where she was born.

After a childhood in Switzerland before the big move to the town where she would grow up, near the Council of Europe where her father - Jean-Pierre Ribaut – took the position at the head of the Environment Division and, ultimately, decided to stay. "Quite simply, she said, because I feel wonderful in Strasbourg".

It is here that she opened her flower shop in 1985. Thirty years this year! An anniversary that will mark the creation of an online shop at the dawn of 2016.

"Vert Clair", her brand, and will be open 24/24, 365 days a year because "availability" is one of his key words. It is not an option to let the phone ring on empty or to not take a delivery. Counting among her customers the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, and the Protocol Office of the City of Strasbourg, Sylvie cannot be lacking. They must be all hands on deck no matter what, and the four members of her team understand it well.

"Flowers carry the festivity within, she says, they have no political affiliation, belong to all faiths, universal and soothing. That is their magic. " Her bouquets adjust to the colours of a country, the minimalism of a contemporary art fair, the sensitivities of each other, circumstances ... Not one is prepared in advance. All correspond to a message, to the colours of the time or souls. Each is unique ... and delivered by electric car because the woman with the bucolic name takes sustainable development seriously.

She favours local producers, weigh the carbon footprint of flowers grown in Colombia with that of the ones grown in Dutch greenhouses, all the while keeping to heart the passion for her craft.

"You need it, she says, because being an independent craftsman florist today is not easy. I chose high-end and originality to stand out, as well as responsiveness since, to work in the European Parliament, one must be able to deliver at times between 7 am and 9 pm...! Elected "Mrs. Craft 2013", Sylvie attaches great importance to training.

She believes in it and when she sees one of her apprentices open her own shop, it is with a sense of pride every time.

"It is important to be useful…" she says, and so she is very committed on her Corporation. Board member of the Foundation "Passion Alsace", she follows magnificent projects that range from horse therapy to actions for the elderly, Alzheimer's patients, or the rehabilitation of the Leonards Castle rose gardens... "All this drives me, motivates me and I don’t regret having to put my personal life sometimes on the back burner..."

As for Strasbourg, it's simple, Sylvie is in "love" with it.

"The city is so beautiful, and then this is where I have my roots."

SYLVIE RIBAUT FÜR EIN BLÜHENDES EUROPA Sylvie Ribaut, Straßburg und Europa, diese Geschichte beginnt in Lausanne, wo sie geboren wurde. Eine begonnene Kindheit in der Schweiz, bevor sie in die Stadt aufbricht, wo sie nicht weit vom Europarat aufwachsen wird, weil ihr Vater Jean-Pierre Ribaut hier die Leitung der Umweltabteilung übernommen hatte. Sie wird bleiben. « Ganz einfach », gesteht sie ein, « weil ich mich in Straßburg einfach wunderbar fühle. » Hier hat sie also 1985 ihr Blumengeschäft eröffnet und feiert in diesem Jahr 30-jähriges Bestehen – ein Anlass, dass sie mit einer OnlineBoutique ab dem kommenden Jahr abrunden wird. « Vert Clair », so heißt ihr Blumengeschäft, ist auch sonst 24 Stunden, 365 Tage im Jahr geöffnet. Service geht ihr über alles. Undenkbar das Telefon einmal klingeln zu lassen oder einen Auftrag abzulehnen.

Zu ihren Kunden gehören nicht von ungefähr der Europarat, das Europäische Parlament und das Protokoll der Stadt Straßburg. Immer im Einsatz, lautet ihr Credo und das ihrer vier Mitarbeiter.

So stammten auch die Kompositionen in Gelb und Weiß beim Papstbesuch aus ihrer Hand, ebenso wie der Blumenschmuck bei der Visite von Angela Merkel. « Die Blume trägt das Fest in sich », sagt die Blumenkünstlerin. « Sie ist unpolitisch, universell und friedfertig. Das macht ihre ganze Magie aus. » Sylvies Bukette passen sich, wenn es sein muss, den Farben eines Landes an, dem Minimalismus der Messe für zeitgenössische Kunst und vielen anderen Gelegenheiten. Wie eine Botschaft, den Farben der Jahreszeit und der Seelenlage entsprechend.

Und jedes Gesteck ist einzigartig, wird ausgeliefert mit einem elektrischen Wagen, denn Sylvie Ribaut hält viel von nachhaltiger Entwicklung. Sie bevorzugt lokale Produzenten, vergleicht die CO2-Bilanz von Blumen aus Kolumbien mit denen aus holländischen Gewächshäusern und bewahrt sich bei alldem die Passion für ihren Beruf. « Das muss so sein », sagt sie, denn als selbstständige Floristin lebt es sich heutzutage nicht einfach. » Sie habe sich für den anspruchsvollen Weg entschieden,

um sich von anderen abzuheben. » Nicht von ungefähr wurde Sylvie Ribaut zur « Madame Artisanat 2013 » gewählt und gibt ihr Können gerne weiter. Wenn einer ihrer Auszubildenden einen eigenen Laden eröffnet, erfüllt sie das jedes Mal mit Stolz.

Sylvie Ribaut gehört zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der Stiftung « Passion Alsace », in deren Namen sie schon zahlreiche Projekte initiiert hat wie Veranstaltungen für ältere Menschen, für Alzheimerkranke und die Instandsetzung des Rosengartens des Château de la Leonardsau. « Das alles ist für mich Motivation und treibt mich an, und es stört mich nicht, dass mein Privatleben dabei manchmal zu kurz kommt. » In Straßburg hat sich Sylvie Ribaut ganz einfach verliebt. « Die Stadt ist einfach wunderschön und inzwischen habe ich hier meine Wurzeln. » IHR LIEBLINGSCAFÉ? « Vielleicht eines der Cafés auf den Kähnen am Quai Saint Nicolas. Von dort kann man einen unglaublichen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. » Atlantico, 19 Quai des Pêcheurs.

IHR LIEBLINGSRESTAURANT? « Mal hier mal da: das hängt davon ab, auf welches Land und seine Küche ich gerade Lust habe. » UND IHRE LIEBLINGSBLUME ? « Die englische Gartenrose, weil sie so wunderbar duftet.»

Strasbourg a bien sûr sa réprésentation diplomatique, son centre culturel, de nombreuses épiceries et restaurants italiens. Mais à La Cucina di Mamma Mia, il y a ce parfum que l'on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs. Authentique. Celui de ces vieilles cuisines de vieux films de Cine Citta. Avec, dans l'ombre du plan séquence, l'image de la Mamma et de l'élégance d'une femme, belle, sensuelle, qui attire tous les regards. Il y a ce parfum, aussi, des rivages napolitains, des longues lignées de cyprès et de palais toscans. Pourtant, ici, rue Geiler, alors que l'hiver prend ses premières marques, nulle douceur estivale. Pourtant ici, dans cette cuisine sise en bout de salle, nulle Mamma. Juste Ciro. Lui, le gamin issu d'une fratrie de sept, le napolitain, toscan de première adoption et strabourgeois de cœur. Lui, que le parcours, entre Florence et Strasbourg, fait de droit et de science politique, n'aurait jamais dû diriger vers la magnifiscence des saveurs traditionnelles. Mais la cuisine, cet art, Ciro l'a hérité de ses origines familiales. S'est plu à le transmettre, à le sublimer au point qu'il n'est pas un Italien ou presque, membre d'une istitution européenne ou simple expat qui, en 13 ans, n'y a succombé. Parce qu'ici, Ciro ne sert pas que de savoureux Ravioli ai carciofi fave e pancetta, saltimboca 32

alla Romana, calamari al Finocchio e la sua Insalata al profumo di anice e Balsamico et autres filetto di manzo al Gorgonzola e i sui gnocchetti. Non, ici, Ciro offre bien plus : une humanité rare, un voyage dont les clients deviennent, par la chaleur et la générosité de l'accueil, des compagnons de route. Des membres à part entière d'une famille, d'une petite ambassade humaine qui se construit à mesure des rencontres. Quelque chose de simple, d'humain, beau et de véritablement divin.

But at La Cucina di Mamma Mia, there is this perfume that cannot be found anywhere else. Authenticity. That of those old kitchens seen in old Cine Citta movies. With, in the shadow of the sequence shot, the image of the Mamma and the elegance of a woman, beautiful, sensual, who attracts all eyes. There is this perfume, too, of Neapolitan shores, long lines of cypress trees and Tuscan palaces. Yet here, rue Geiler, as winter starts to make itself felt, no summer sweetness. Yet here in this kitchen located in the back room, no Mamma. Only Ciro, kid from a family of seven, Neapolitan, Tuscan by birth and Strabourgeois at heart. He, whose life between Florence and Strasbourg centred on law and political science, should never have been heading to the magnificence of traditional flavours. But the food, the

He enjoys transmitting it, sublimating it to the point that there is almost not a single Italian member of any European institution or expat who, in 13 years, has not succumbed to it. No, here, Ciro offers much more: a rare humanity, a trip whose customers become, by the warmth and generosity of the welcome, travel companions. Full members of a family, of a small human embassy being built through chance encoiunters. Something simple, human, beautiful and truly divine.

LA CUCINA DI MAMMA MIA MIT DEM BESTEN AUS ITALIEN Italien ist in Straßburg diplomatisch vertreten, mit einem Kulturzentrum, zahlreichen Lebensmittelgeschäften und Restaurants. La Cucina di Mamma Mia aber

verströmt einen Duft, der nirgends sonst zu finden ist, den der Authentizität und der alten Küchen in alten Filmen. Mit dem Bild der Mamma im Hintergrund und der Eleganz einer schönen sinnlichen Frau, die alle Blicke auf sich zieht. Da gibt es auch den Duft der neapolitanischen Küsten, der Zypernreihen und der toskanischen Palais.

In der Küche am Ende des Gastraums in der Rue Geiler herrscht angesichts des heranrückenden Winters keine Sommerlaune. In der Küche steht auch keine Mamma.

Nur Ciro. Kind unter sieben Geschwistern, Napolitaner und vormals seiner Wahlheimat Toskana verbunden und inzwischen von Herzen Straßburger. Sein Weg von Florenz nach Straßburg war zunächst der Juristerei und den politischen Wissenschaften gewidmet. Eigentlich war es nicht geplant, dass er sich den traditionellen Genüssen zuwendet. Aber die Liebe zur Küche hat Ciro geerbt. In seinem Lokal serviert Ciro nicht nur köstliche Ravioli ai carciofi fave e pancetta, Saltimboca alla Romana, Calamari al Finocchio e la sua Insalata al profumo di anice e Balsamico und andere Köstlichkeiten. Ciro hat viel mehr zu bieten, was man selten findet: Sein Umgang mit den Gästen, die dank seiner Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft zu rechten Reisegenossen werden. Als seien sie Teil einer Familie, einer Botschaft der Menschlichkeit, die mit jeder Begegnung stärker wird. Es geht um etwas Einfaches, Menschliches, Schönes und tatsächlich Göttliches.

L’enseigne (la 16ème du Groupe) a ouvert depuis quelques semaines à l’épicentre-même de la rue des Orfèvres, au pied de la cathédrale, là où de nombreuses marques raffinées figurent déjà.

Pour Anne et Philippe Aubriot-Bertot, si les premières journées d’ouverture ont été d’une densité inédite en terme de fréquentation, il convient désormais de fournir chaque jour toute la gamme de chocolat proposée par cet artisan de génie qu’est le Troyen Pascal Caffet, meilleur ouvrier de France en 1989. Quand on lui demande pourquoi le chocolat, Anne AubriotBertot, une ancienne cadre de haut niveau d’une multinationale française, répond du tac-au-tac : « Je suis une épicurienne, j’adore donner du plaisir gustatif aux gens. Les voir pénétrer dans la boutique avec un grand sourire est déjà formidable : ils ont envie d’être ici, ils ne sont pas là par hasard, ils sont là pour se faire plaisir ». La rencontre entre ce couple plein d’allant et de sympathie et Pascal Caffet a été déterminante : « Avec cet artisan lui aussi épicurien, on partage évidemment les mêmes valeurs » dit Anne. Il en va de même avec le 34

choix de Strasbourg : la solide réputation gastronomique de la capitale alsacienne et européenne n’avait pas échappé à Anne et Philippe. En rayon, il y a bien sûr toute la gamme des chocolats hauts de gamme élaborés par Pascal Caffet mais aussi ses touches d’originalité comme les amandes de Valence, les noisettes du Piémont ou les pistaches d’Iran : tout doit concourir à l’excellence des produits du lieu. « Pascal Caffet crée ses produits comme un écrivain qui s’installe devant la page blanche » confie Anne. « Il se définit et œuvre vraiment comme un artiste, il ne fait pas dans le « prêt-à-consommer » mais dans l’orfèvrerie. Son inspiration prend tout le temps nécessaire. « Tout ça m’a plu, profondément » conclue la néostrasbourgeoise, installée en Alsace depuis juillet dernier et qui, malgré l’emploi du temps démentiel qui a été le sien dans les mois qui ont précédé l’ouverture, avoue se « sentir déjà très bien » à Strasbourg.

For Anne and Philippe Aubriot-Bertot, if the first opening days were of an unprecedented density in terms of attendance, the challenge is now to provide daily the whole chocolate range offered by this genius craftsman that the Trojan Pascal Caffet, Best Craftsman in France in 1989. When asked why chocolate, AnneAubriot Bertot, a former high-level executive in a French multinational, answers tit-for tat "I am an epicurean, I love giving gustative pleasure to people. Seeing them walk into the shop with a big smile on their face is already formidable: they want to be here, they are not here by chance, they are here to enjoy themselves".

The meeting between this couple, full of drive and sympathy, and Pascal Caffet was decisive: "With this craftsman, also an epicurean, we obviously share the same values," says Anne. It's the same with the choice of Strasbourg: the solid gastronomic reputation of the Alsatian and European capital had not escaped Anne and Philip. On the shelves, there are of course the full range of high-end chocolates prepared by Pascal Caffet but also his original touches such as almonds from Valencia, Piedmont hazelnuts or pistachios from Iran: everything must contribute to the excellence of the products. "Pascal Caffet creates his products as a writer who sits before a blank page," says Anne. "He really defines himself and works as an artist, he is not in the "ready-to-eat" business but in the goldsmith’s trade.

His inspiration takes all the time necessary. I enjoyed that, deeply, "concludes the New Strasbourgeoise, based in Alsace since last July and who, despite the mad timetable that was hers in the months leading up to the opening, admits to "feeling already very much at home" in Strasbourg.

STRASSBURGS NEUZUGANG UNTER DEN CHOCOLATIERS Vor einigen Wochen hat die Unternehmensgruppe Caffet im Herzen der Straßburger Alstadt, in der Rue des Orfèvres, nicht weit vom Münster entfernt, ihre 16. Niederlassung eröffnet. Für die Inhaber Anne und Philippe Aubriot-Bertot waren die erste Tage ein echter Erfolg, so dass sie inzwischen bemüht sind, jeden Tag alle Spezialitäten des aus Troyes stammenden Schokolade-Künstlers Pascal Caffet anbieten zu können. Wenn man Anne Aubriot-Bertot fragt, warum, sie, die zuvor für einen multinationalen Konzern tätig war, sich für Schokolade entschieden habe, antwortet sie ohne zu zögern : « Ich bin eine Genießerin und ich liebe es, anderen eine ebensolche Freude zu bereiten. Sie den Laden mit einem großen Lächeln betreten zu sehen, ist allein schon wunderbar », führt die Geschäftsfrau aus und fährt fort. « Sie sind nicht zufällig hier, sie haben Lust dazu und sind da, um sich eine Freude zu machen. » Entscheidend war eine Begegnung zwischen dem engagierten und sympathischen Paar und Pascal Caffet, der 1989 bester französischer Handwerker seines Fachs war. «Wir vertreten die gleichen Werte wie er », sagt Anne Aubriot-Bertot. Die Wahl für den Standort fiel auf Straßburg, weil die europäische Hauptstadt einen soliden gastronomischen Ruf hat.

In den Regalen stehen selbstverständlich alle hochwertigen Schokolade-Produkte aus dem Hause Caffet, aber auch seine Mandeln aus Valence, Piemont-Nüsse und Pistazien aus dem Iran. Die herausragende Qualität der Produkte ist entscheidend. « Pascal Caffet entwirft seine Produkte wie ein Schriftsteller, der an eine weiße Seite herangeht », verrät Anne. « Er versteht sich als Künstler. Was er gestaltet, ist kein Konsumprodukt, sondern Goldschmiedearbeit. Er nimmt sich Zeit. All das zusammen hat mich überzeugt », sagt die Neu-Straßburgerin. Seit Juli lebt sie in der Stadt und, obwohl sie in den hektischen Monaten vor der Eröffnung wenig Zeit hatte, sagt sie, sie fühle sich in Straßburg schon sehr zu Hause.
