Orlando Fringe is thrilled to have another chance for our patrons to get out in the sub-zero degree temperatures of Central Florida, brave the cold, and support not only our organization, but the artists for whom our organization exists. There is always a synergy at Orlando Fringe that is a direct feed from the artist to the patron, and in the Winter Mini-Fest it is just as palpable. So come out often! With this being my first year serving as President of the Orlando Fringe Board of Directors, I cannot wait to see what the cold north winds blow into town for this year’s festival, but besides what you have come to expect, we wouldn’t be Fringe if we didn’t have a few surprises up our sleeves. If this is your first time at an Orlando Fringe event, you are in for a treat as we've designed this mini-fest to be an easily-digestible intro to all things Fringe. All the shows have been hand-picked to showcase the best Fringe has to offer. If you're a returning patron, welcome back! We've brought back some of your favorite shows from the past and new works by some of your favorite performers. I want to thank Norwegian Creative Studios for once again serving as our presenting sponsor. Their continued investment keeps our festival going strong. MICHAEL MARINACCIO Festival Producer Welcome to the 3rd Annual Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, presented by Norwegian Creative Studio. This festival began as a way to give Fringe fans a chance to get their "'fix" during our off season, and give folks a chance to see some of the work they might have missed in May. While we still have some of the best shows from May coming back, this year we are also bringing in more new work than ever before, with over half of the shows making their Orlando premiere. This year I spent much of my Summer visiting other Festivals across North America, seeing shows and recruiting some of the best theatre and performing arts companies on the Fringe circuit. I'm thrilled to share these exciting new works with all of you, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Thank you for your support of Orlando Fringe and independent performing arts. The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival has been celebrated as Central Florida’s “Best Festival” and “Most Unique Cultural Event” by readers of The Orlando Weekly and Orlando Sentinel for the past 24 years. Even though Orlando Fringe has been a vibrant part of our community since 1992, there are still many who have never attended Fringe. For that reason, the Winter Mini-Fest was born. Hand-picking the best of the best productions, the four days of the Winter Mini-Fest are filled with shows guaranteed to delight. This year we’ve asked much-loved shows to return and we’ve also met some incredible artists during our travels to other Fringe theatre festivals that we’ve brought to Orlando. We’re excited to introduce them to you. See shows, take a chance on something that’s not in your comfort zone, and embrace the chaotic nature of Fringe.
