Sparks of red rain splash telegraph poles, rotating cogs squeeze women out of clouds, they turn into powdered Rembrandt females dressed in halos with pale pointed faces. Across the concrete floor, a Caravaggio depicts rearing horses, scenes of a battle. On Dorian columns, exposed women sidle up walls, cavort with angels.

Each immersed face becomes a piece of the puzzle where priests march in tune to a waltzing Strauss. Floating white lilies release lines of scrawl, an abstract Klimt dashes the wall. Celtic birds sing whistling notes, a Cyclops’ eye blinks very slowly, gliding goldfish sprout winking hands. At the end, sheets of blue fade into a veil of tears, coloured, arced rainbows disappear. Darkness reigns on the concrete canvas.
