when it goes dark when the lights go out when we fall into the dark pit of oblivion

may we stretch in gleeful fractal patterns our debt to beauty finally paid in full as we scatter luminous cells

a million fireflies singing murmurations in harmonies lucid and deep, the pulse of galaxies holding the bass line as we dissolve into song.
