Getting to know Orion’s Stars
Name: Sheri Ellen Schwartz Title: Director of Recruiting g 1. What were you like in High School? I was outgoing and focused on the Arts and Sports.
2. If you could be any animal, which one would you be and why? A hedgehog. They are so cute and you can hold them in your hand.
3. What’s your favorite 90’s jam? It was more like “No Parking on the Dance Floor” by Midnight Star 80’s style, I was busy being a Mom in the 90’s - so certain things are hard to remember :)
4. Did you participate in any extracarriculars in school? If so, which? Track/Cross Country, Drama, School Musicals and Choir.
5. Do you believe in “Bigfoot”?
Bigfoot is real, I have seen it on Discover – Plus, I read about it the other day, when a Family of Bigfoots were spotted in Fresno County at Avacado Lake and one of the Bigfoot’s dropped the pig he was carrying while tripping over a pipeline. They are real!
6. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, what was your favoite costume? Not really, but if I did..I would dress up like”I Dream of Jeannie!”
7. What’s your favorite thing about Autumn? Beside my birthday, I love the sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet.
8. What’s your favorite classic holiday dish? With a name like Schwartz, I’ve got to love the the Traditional foods of Matzoh Ball Soup and Potato Latkes!
9. Who was your first celebrity crush? My crush was Rick Springfield! He played a Doctor in General Hospital then became a Popstar icon! Ohhh hubba hubba!
10. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever recieved? I believe in the advice I was given, that “You have to LOVE what you do!”

Misdirected, should have been studying for Yale & going for an athletic scholarship
2. If you could be any animal, which one would you be and why? Some type of free flying bird or leisurely house pet with a good owner
3. What’s your favorite 90’s jam? A lot, I miss going to Warehouse Music, Rock, Hip Hop, Country, R&B
4. Did you participate in any extracarriculars in school? If so, which? Triathlon team & snowboard racing
5. Do you believe in “Bigfoot”? The Monster truck? "Sasquatch"? No. Though, if alone in the wilderness I'd think about it
6. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, what was your favoite costume? My Mom used to sew my costumes & I'd win some contests in elementary school: Doctor, Nerd, Scary Clown
7. What’s your favorite thing about Autumn? Sweatshirts & cloudy days
8. What’s your favorite classic holiday dish? My Mom makes really good chili at Halloween, & really good Thanksgiving food- I like the sweet potatoes, spicy chicken sausage stuffing, trifle dessert, all of it
9. Who was your first celebrity crush? Probably Winnie from wonder years, though I didn't really watch the show much, I got over her quick because she was into Fred Savage haha
10. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever recieved? "Shoot for the Stars, if you fall short you'll land on the moon." :)

Great time at the NAMB show with friends, peers, and colleagues. More importantly, taking a break from it all to pay our respects at the Healing Gardens for all the lives lost, the first responders, hero’s and to all of those impacted by this senseless tragedy. There is a Tree of Life, surrounded by a concrete planter in the shape of a heart where visitors can sit and view the remembrance wall. Surrounding it all is a brick trail leading you to 58 trees representing each of the lives lost .
