With Summer upon us your HR department would like to share a few reminders!
Be sure to log your PTO and unpaid time-off ahead of time for approval
• Unless you are unexpectedly out sick, make time to plan out your much deserved time-off and submit your PTO requests in Paycom. Not only does this help your Manager plan around your absence, you are more likely to receive approval from your Manager with advanced notice. • If you have exhausted all of your PTO hours and are requesting “Unpaid Time-Off”, you must still request time off and select “Unpaid Time-Off” vs. “PTO”. All absences must be documented! Note: If you are on unpaid leave 3 days or longer this triggers a requirement to be on a formal leave of absence. • Here’s how – Paycom / Time-Off Requests / Request Time Off • For PTO Accrual balance – Paycom / Time-Off Requests / My Accruals • Interested in cashing out your PTO? Orion provides you the option to cash-out up to 40 hours of PTO on or near your anniversary date each year.
Need a timecard punch edit? You can submit the edit request via Paycom for approval yourself!
Here’s how!
•Paycom / Web Time Clock To the left of your screen you will see the main menu:
In the Middle you will see your current status and where you punch in and out. To the right of your screen you will see your recent punches:
If you have to edit a punch, click on the little pencil to the right of your punch time:
You will then be prompted to enter your edit details, i.e. type of punch and/or time. Under “Reason” there is a free form text box where you can explain the need for the edit, i.e. forgot to clock back in. Note: Please do not enter any punctuations as it will not submit the request if you do. Leave the tax profile blank and click “Add Request”. Your request will be submitted to HR for approval and you and your Manager will be notified of the approval.

But this loan closed and final docs were dated right around the 24th day after the initial submission package was uploaded into Orion’s site.”

TRUE True Colors was an opportunity for us to learn a bit more about ourselves, but more importantly, about each other. During the sessions we asked the question, “What does effective communication mean to you?� And the re-occurring themes were respect and active listening.
