Jeremy’s Corner I was talking with a fellow Orion employee the other day and was asked my opinion and to characterize the current lending scene as it relates to Orion. “Great question” I remarked. 2017 has conjured up great opportunities for us as an organization. We have a strategic vision that emphasizes execution while being ambidextrous. It also requires we come in fired up and ready to make an impact daily (maximizing the minutes…). Retrenching fundamentals, enhancing processes and remaining disciplined in our modeling are a few important themes at the top of the list. The 2017 market has been exciting and healthy for those focused on the right mix. There’s certainly a noticeable dose of competitive pressure out there. For those positioned correctly countless opportunities exist but you have to have the right prescription in your lens to see it…
At this point it became very clear the question he asked had hit a chord. For those that know me and my affection for food. Consider how I might react to a well-made cupcake or food in general, then multiply that by two-hundred thousand when it has to do with our great company and its nucleus (you!). I get fired up over the great chapters with have written together, and I’m even more fired up over the things we will achieve through 2017 and beyond. Our story is a great one and it’s just the beginning.
I really hope you enjoy the first installment of The Galaxy. Looking forward to making it happen with each and every one of you.
