Arna& The Lost Feather
One sunny morning, Lizzie and Lenny were playing in the backyard when they saw a feather floating in the sky. It was blue, purple, and green in color!
Wagging their tails with excitement, they picked it up and rushed to show it to Arna.
"Woof! Woof! Look what we found!", they barked
"Wow!" exclaimed Arna, taking the feather. "What a treasure! Maybe I can make a wand with it, or a beautiful crown!"
She admired the feather, holding it up to the light.
The dogs, looking up at her and barked, “Woof! Someone might be missing that beautiful feather. We should give it back."
Arna smiled at them, "You’re right, let's find the owner!" she said as they set off on a new adventure.
Their first stop was the nearby park, where a buzzing bee was dancing around.
"Excuse me," Arna called, "is this your feather?"
The bee buzzed closer, its yellow and black stripes shimmering.
"Bzzz, no, but it's very pretty!"
On a nearby tree, they saw a bright colorful chameleon. "Hello," Arna said, "do you know whose feather this is?".
"No, but it's lovely like my colors!" the chameleon replied, its skin turning into beautiful colors right before their eyes.
"Wow, you're like a magic painter! But you don’t have any feathers, so we’ll keep looking", Arna said
In the jungle they found a wise old owl perched on a tree branch.
"Hoot, that's not my feather," the owl said, shaking its head. “My feathers are soft and brown, this is very colorful!", it hooted and flew away.
Next they walked into a dark cave where they met a friendly bat.
"Flap, flap! I don't need feathers to fly," the bat said cheerfully, showing off its wings. "But thanks for asking!"
Arna smiled, amazed by the bat's way of flying in the dark.
As they left the cave, rain began to fall. Arna felt sad that they hadn’t found the owner.
Lizzie and Lenny snuggled closer, wagging their tails, "Don't give up!"
Soon the rain stopped, and the sun peeked through the clouds.
That's when they saw a sad peacock with a gap in its tail.
"Could it be?" Arna whispered.
Rushing over, Arna held out the feather.
The peacock happily took it, his feathers now complete.
"Thank you! I’ve been so sad without this", he said and spread his beautiful rainbow tail.
That day onwards, the peacock came to Arna's house and made the garden bright with his pretty feathers.
Arna felt very happy and proud. She knew every day would be a new adventure!
