Who we are Organic Arable is a grain specialist dedicated to supporting the UK’s organic cereal sector. Founded in 1999, we’re a group of farmers working tirelessly for the success of all things connected to the growing & selling of organic British grains.

HOW IT WORKS TEST & ADVISE We sample & test your grain & offer advice on its best market.

MARKET & SELL Next we find a buyer & negotiate a price.

HAULAGE, INVOICE & PAY As your ‘mercantile agent in possession’ we execute contracts, arrange haulage, raise invoices and – the best bit – pay you.

And that’s it.

All sales are credit insured meaning the value of your crop is protected – even if your buyer runs into financial difficulty.

SUPPLYING YOUR SEED SEED YOU CAN TRUST As fellow farmers we know that choosing the right seed is crucial.

Buying seed from us saves you time and money – & gives your crop the best start. We understand the cheapest doesn’t always mean the best value, & take seed quality into consideration when recommending seed.

Our industry-leading experts do all the field research – so you don’t have to.

Our ongoing participatory trials means we have access to the latest information about which varieties perform well in organic systems, ensuring you have the right seed year on year.

As we buy seed wholesale, we can supply it to you at a discounted price.

What’s more, because we also sell organic grain to mills & brands, we’re in a unique position of knowing which varieties buyers want – and don’t want – ensuring seed bought from us produces indemand crops, rotation after rotation.
