Fall/Winter Registration begins August 28 Annual Pass Holders
Annual pass holders will be allowed to register on Thursday, August 27. Resident annual pass holders will begin registration at 7:00 am and non-resident annual pass holders will follow at 9:00 am. Registration on August 27 can only be submitted by members of your immediate family.
Non-Annual Pass Holders
Class Changes
The Oregon Park District may cancel, postpone, combine classes, or change instructors. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment and refunds will be issued. All participants will be notified of any scheduling changes or cancellations.
Waiver Policy
The Oregon Park District requires all class participants and pass holders to sign a waiver release form. Waivers will be signed and kept on file at Nash Recreation Center. Your registration is not considered complete until a signed waiver is on file.
Registration for non-annual pass holders will begin on Friday, August 28. Residents will begin www.oregonpark.org at 7:00 am, followed by non-residents at 9:00 am. The Oregon Park District website includes information about programs and classes, parks, facilities, employment opportunities, and more. Visit us online for updates.
Residency
ID is required for proof of residency or a nonresident fee will be charged. A resident is an individual living in or owning real estate within the boundaries of the Oregon Park District. All Oregon School District students participating in youth team sports are considered residents.
Fees
Fees must be paid at the time of registration by cash, check, or credit card. The first fee listed is the rate for Oregon Park District residents. The second fee is for non-residents. No registrations or rentals will be accepted without the proper payment.
Program Refund Policy * A full refund will be issued if the Park District reschedules or cancels a class. * To withdraw from a program, a refund application must be completed. * An administrative fee of $5.00 shall be deducted from the amount of a refund to offset the cost of processing the refund. A full refund, less the fee, will be granted if the application for refund is filed with the office at least ten days prior to the scheduled start of the program/activity. * Refunds will not be granted after the registration deadline. * All program refunds are subject to the program coordinator’s approval. * Refunds will not be approved on Park District passes. Passes/cards are non-transferable.

A Nash Recreation Center pass or daily fee allows patrons to use the pool and whirlpool, gym, and Fitness Center.
Racquetball & Wallyball
Racquetball court rental is included in the annual pass fee and is $3.00/hour for non-annual pass holders. Wallyball court rental is $5.00/hour.
Nash Fitness Center
The Nash Fitness Center is over 6,000 square feet and features a three lane rubberized track that surrounds our NEW CYBEX strength training machines, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment. Our friendly Fitness Center staff is available to set up an orientation for any and all users looking to begin a fitness routine.

Automatic Monthly Payment
This is a convenient way to pay for your pass and selected programs. The automatic debit monthly fees are shown above. With your permission, automatic credit card charges will be made each month. The first amount is the initial payment that will be made when registering, followed by the amount of 10 equal payments to be charged on the 15th of each month.
3 Pay Payment Plan
Your annual pass is paid off in three equal consecutive payments! The pass fee is paid on the 15th of month, for the first three months, and is only available on annual passes.
Age Restrictions
Children under the age of 5 are welcome to use the gym and pool area free of charge but must be accompanied by a Group Reservations parent or responsible person, 11 years or older. Participants Groups of 15 or more will receive a 10% discount on daily must be 7th grade or older to use the Nash Fitness Center and fees if reservations are made at least 10 days in advance. Lockers
Health Clearance
The Oregon Park District has lockers available for rental to annual pass holders for the term of the pass. The resident fee is $65.00 and non-resident fee is $80.00.
All users are asked to fill out a health history form. Anyone with prior health problems may be asked to obtain a doctor’s release before being permitted to work out. All health forms and doctor’s clearance forms are kept confidential.
Mt. Morris Village Residents
Corporate Memberships
The Oregon Park District offers corporate membership Mt. Morris Village residents can register for all programs, memberships, facility rentals, and daily fees at the Oregon options for resident and non-resident companies. For Park District resident rate. The Nash pool features stairs to a 3 foot bay area attached to a 25 meter 6 lane pool. The deepest area is 10 feet. The pool is equipped with a handicap chair lift to assist patrons in and out of the pool. After your workout you can enjoy the 13 person hot tub with both high and low jets.

Multi-Use Swim
Multi-use swim is open to all ages, however, children are to be accompanied by an adult. Patrons may swim laps, play in the bay area, water jog in the deep end, or enjoy time in the hot tub. The diving board is closed during this time. Swim lessons scheduled during this time will have first priority for pool use. Please be aware that areas of the pool may not be available.
Open Swim
All areas of the pool are open for use, including our diving board and basketball hoop. Pool toys are allowed in the pool at the discretion of the aquatic staff.
Lap Swim
Six lap lanes will be available for swimmers 7th grade or older. Swimming 32 laps is a one mile workout.
Water Aerobics Classes
No patrons will be allowed to use the pool while class is in session. Special needs provisions can be made on an individual basis for use of the bay area. For more information see the Pool Manager.
Hot Tub Hours
The hot tub is available for use during lap swim, open swim, and multi-use swim. The hot tub can also be used during swim lessons, water aerobics, and twinges classes. The hot tub is equipped with a handicap chair lift to assit patrons in and out of the spa. You must be at least 16 years old to use the hot tub.

Hawk Wrestling is an IKWF program for wrestlers of all skill levels. It is run by coaches affiliated with the OHS wrestling program. Power Up Volleyball Club All Students
Power Up Volleyball Club is a USA Volleyball Registered program that started in 2010 to help serve the growing interest in volleyball in northwest Illinois for grades 5th-10th. Our mission is to provide quality training and competition experience while staying local and keeping costs manageable. Power Up promotes a positive learning environment for all participants. All coaches are IMPACT trained and certified. Multi-sport athletes are welcome and will not be penalized for missing volleyball to attend their school sporting event if a scheduling conflict arises. Practices are typically scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays, but may include some Fridays. Tournaments take place on Sundays, and each age division will have 5 total tournaments. The season runs from mid-December to early April. The season will tentatively start Sunday December 13th. Oregon Park District Tutoring Center Grades 1st - 4th
The Tutoring Center will provide one-on-one instruction for Math skill review and development. Customized lesson plans targeting specific skills for each child will be used while accomodating each child’s learning style. You, along with your child’s tutor, will determine the number of sessions primarily based on skill development and mastery. Sessions will be one hour in length. Each class will include basic obedience behavior training, problem solving, retrieving, agility and the ability to comfortably introduce your pet to new people and dogs. Come join the Oregon Road Riders bicycling group this Fall for a weekly 18 mile cycling adventure around Oregon’s local paved roads. This self-supported group ride is moderately paced, between 12-15mph average, and welcome to all bicycle types. Riders must provide their own bicycle and bicycle helmets are required at all times. Maple Syrup Season! In late February stop by the Garden Barn and learn the process by which maple syrup is made. Individuals are welcome to help or sit and watch the process. Maple Syrup Volunteers Are Needed!!! Calling all local volunteers who might be interested in helping with the 2016 Maple Syrup project! Volunteers will be needed from late February to early April to assist with taping trees, hanging pails, checking pails daily, stacking wood, stirring syrup and bottling the syrup. Howl’oween Canine Costume Contest*
Families and their four-legged friends will enjoy the 4th Annual Wiggly Field Howl’oween Canine Costume Contest. Bring your pooch dressed in their Halloween costume for the doggie parade at 5:30 p.m. Judging will follow with awards to the winning canines and a Howl’oween treat for all participating pooches. Build-A-Birdhouse Contest
If you enjoy birds, woodworking, friendly competition and need a fun winter project, this contest is for you. Design your own birdhouse or create one from an existing pattern. Cut and assemble your house and embellish if you choose. Specific Contest Rules are available at Nash Recreation Center or at www.oregonpark.org. Judging will take place in the spring and the bird houses will be on display at Nash and at Merlin’s Spring Open House. Some houses may be chosen by the OPD Parks Department to be on display and for use in the parks. Houses can be dropped off at Nash between March 30-April 4.

Enter your family’s home or a friend’s, neighbor’s, co-worker’s home in the 7th Annual Holiday Lights Home Decorating Contest. Any home with an Oregon address is eligible for this contest. Simply decorate and light up your home. Complete an entry form and you will be entered to win this year’s grand prize. 1st place will receive a Quarterly Family Membership to the Nash Recreation Center. Judges will be out the week of December 7th. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 16. There is no entry fee, but you must submit an entry form by Dec 7.

Letters can be mailed beginning Nov 11 and the mail stops heading to the North Pole on December 15.

Come to Nash in casual or holiday dress for a yummy light breakfast with Santa. Enjoy time socializing with friends in a holiday atmosphere. ‘Wiggly Field’ Dog Park
Officially opened in July 2012, Wiggly Field Dog Park is the first off-leash dog park operated by the Oregon Park District. The dog park is a 1 acre fenced off-leash area with two separate entrances and exits for safety. The first area is an open running area and the second is an agility training area. The park offers water fountains for people and dogs. Wiggly Field offleash dog park is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk. Agility equipment will be removed during the winter months and brought back in the spring. We ask all owners to have fun, but be responsible. All users and dogs must have a permit. This outdoor treasure hunting game involves searching for hidden objects using clues and GPS (global positioning system) coordinates. There are 10 geocaches strategically placed within and near the Oregon Park District’s parks and facilities. Enjoy learning and taking in the beauty of these destinations while on your real life treasure hunt for geocaches! You will need a www.geocaching.com membership, a GPS device or a GPS-enabled mobile phone so you can navigate to a cache, a pen or pencil to sign the cache log, and you may want to bring an exchangeable treasure! If you log 1,000 miles in our Fitness Center by the end of October, each year, you will receive an Elite Pacers Club t-shirt. After your workout, simply fill out one of our Pacers Club cards and drop it in the box. We will then enter your workout information into our computer. All miles and/or time will be converted into bike miles. The totals will be posted every Monday. If you are a new member, please ask the fitness supervisor on duty and they will explain how to record your miles.
Blood Pressure Monitor
The Park District offers a free blood pressure and heart rate monitor in our fitness center. It is a fully automatic selfattended monitor. Be heart healthy and happy ~ know your blood pressure!

The Oregon Park District believes that every child should have an opportunity to participate in recreational programs regardless of financial hardship. For this reason, the Oregon Park District offers scholarships to Park District residents for reduced program rates according to financial need. Application forms are available at Nash Recreation Center or online at www.oregonpark.org. Applicants for scholarships are not guaranteed program registration or choice of program location. Scholarship fund availability cannot be guaranteed.

Photo Policy
The Oregon Park District and/or professional photographers under contract may videotape or take photographs of participants in Park District activities, classes, programs, or parks. These photographs and videotapes are used for future recreation guides, brochures, Facebook, and other marketing materials.
FREE Rental Of Fishing Equipment
Would you like to go fishing but lack the equipment? The Oregon Park District has partnered with Rock River Outfitters to offer sport fishing equipment through the IDNR. Fishing rods, reels, and tackle are available to borrow at Rock River Outfitters, 114 N. River Road, Oregon.
Night Fishing Permits
You can now fish at night in Oregon Park District Parks by purchasing a required Night Fishing Permit. Permits are available at Nash for $20.00 and are valid thru the end of the calendar year.
