Business Processing Deadlines
The last day to submit completed new producer and new manager contracts to count toward second quarter recruiting goals is Friday, June 23. For the contract to be considered complete, the new producer or manager must have taken the market conduct test, have a license and background issues need to be explained, if applicable. We'll process contracts received after June 23 in the order received, but this doesn't guarantee processing for second quarter. Be aware different jurisdictions have varying turnaround times for background checks. For an easier, faster and paperless contracting system, visit the Online Contracting page on Propr. Review contracts submitted online 24/7 on your online dashboard. E-mail Contracts@ColonialLife.com if you have any questions. -Clean manual business - received by Tuesday, June 27 -Clean census enrollment files - received by Wednesday, June 28 at 6pm PST -Clean electronic business - received by Friday, June 30 at 7 pm PST -New business will continue to be processed until Friday, June 30 at 7 pm PST
Remember: make sure you follow insurance laws! You can't sell, solicit or negotiate insurance on behalf of Colonial Life/Paul Revere (and can't be paid commissions) unless you're properly licensed and appointed, where applicable, in the resident or non-resident state. Learn more about licensing requirements on Propr.
Drive Case Count with this Limited Time Offer! Case count is a major theme as we wind down second quarter. Thanks to our friends in Growth Markets, a limited-time programs offer is on the table until the end of this month to drive case count to help us meet sales plan. You can use a combo of LawAssure and a choice of InfoArmor or AD&D to help close accounts that are on the fence. These programs could provide the extra push they need to do business with Colonial Life. Gil Youmans has dubbed this offer “Operation Wildfire.” Here are the guidelines: • • • • •
Groups must enroll by the end of second quarter (June 30, 2017). The 50% POPS target is still required. This offer is only eligible in accounts with 10 to 499 employees. You still are required to submit the request through your Programs Manager for approval. You cannot combine InfoArmor and AD&D. The offer is for Law Assure and either InfoArmor or AD&D.
We’ve got some ground to make up these last few weeks of June. Look at your prospects and see if this program offer fits. Every case counts!
Pitch-Perfect Positioning -Healthcare Protection Fine tune your sales pitch with clear messages about the value of Colonial Life voluntary benefits. Share the great news about our healthcare products, and use what you've learned about the new accident plan, positioning Medical Bridge and benefit solutions from Special Risk products. Remember to take the Pitch Perfect Positioning Quiz to test your knowledge from material in the June 12 edition of Colonial Life News. Take the quiz, and you could be the winner of a $50 gift card! Winners will be announced in future editions of Colonial Life News. All applicable prizes will be included in the winner's 1099 year-end information.
