Welcome new DGA Corri Attebery! Corrine was born and raised in Southern Oregon, a proud wife, and mother to five children and two large dogs that think they are lap dogs. She loves to travel to experience new places as well as spend quality time with her family. She always has wanted to help people and believes in what we do. Corrie started her career as a receptionist for a mortgage company doing the one thing she never wanted to do … sit behind a desk. Ten years later she was managing the same office. At this point she decided it was time to go back to school and get a degree in massage therapy. Corri started a janitorial business so she could work nights and go to school during the day. For the next year she kept this schedule, finishing a two-year massage therapy program in one year. Corri spent the next eight years perfecting her skill as a Medical Massage Therapist and was about to enter a direction of educating other therapists on a national level, however, life had other plans. Corri and her husband adopted two girls that they’ve known since they were toddlers. At that point, she closed her practice and became a full-time home school mom. As the kids grew more independent with their studies, she was able to take on more responsibilities in their familyowned insurance brokerage, and with six years of recruiting administration and management experience in the insurance business, Corri finally decided to take the next step and get her Health and Life Insurance License. Last year, after watching how Colonial navigated their way through Covid and how we supported our agents, she decided that signing on with Colonial was her best next move. As an ADM, Corri has achieved Sales Plan all but one quarter, all the while building and growing her own team, while training and assisting other ADM’s and agents alike. In Corri’s words, “I am very honored and thankful to accept the DGA position for the Southern Oregon area. I have a great team at my side and I’m excited to see the accomplishments our hard work will produce in the coming years. The best part is, I’m still getting to help people and I’m not stuck behind a desk watching the world go by for eight hours a day.”
