RETIRING INDIVIDUAL LIFE PRODUCTS Due to an industry-wide regulation, all individual life products must be refiled with the state departments of insurance to comply with the 2017 CSO Mortality Tables and new reserving methodology. This applies to all policies sold with premium effective dates (PEDs) of January 1, 2020 and later. Term Life 1000, Whole Life 1000, and Universal Life 1000 will not be compliant for premium effective dates after December 28, 2019. This requirement created an opportunity for Colonial Life to refresh the individual life portfolio.
