Since reopening our newly expanded space in June 2024, the Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California has entered a transformative new chapter. One defined by deeper impact, broader access, and care delivered at scale.
This next phase also marks the launch of our partnership with the Stanford Health Care eConsult program, enabling providers to access expert, evidence-based guidance from Stanford specialists and manage a broader range of patient needs in-house.

ALBERT AND SANDY SEENO, JR.
Albert and Sandy Seeno, Jr. have been steadfast champions of the Order of Malta Clinic for more than 17 years. Their enduring generosity and belief in the Clinic’s mission played a pivotal role in completing the Expansion Campaign in 2022, allowing the Clinic to significantly increase its reach and impact. Known for their deep commitment to community and faith-based philanthropy, the Seenos exemplify the values of service and stewardship. We are deeply grateful for their continued leadership, compassion, and unwavering support.
SILVER CHALICE AWARD HONOREE
ARCHBISHOP SALVATORE J. CORDILEONE
Guided by his deep commitment to friendship and faith, Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone - conventual chaplain ad honorem of the Order of Malta - is this year’s co-honoree. Appointed Archbishop of San Francisco in 2012 (after serving as Bishop of Oakland and Auxiliary Bishop of San Diego), he has been a dedicated leader in the Church. A respected theologian and canon-law expert, Archbishop Cordileone has served on Vatican commissions and launched the Benedict XVI Institute for Sacred Music.
In 2013, Archbishop Cordileone gave his imprimatur for the Silver Chalice Award, and we look forward to honoring his continued support and spiritual leadership at this year’s event.
