Racquets

Racquets Etiquette & Rules
Members and their guests are expected to act in a respectful and dignified manner and follow proper etiquette. Distasteful or other behaviors not consistent with our Club values, including throwing racquets, are not acceptable.
Racquet House
•The Racquet House is the focal point of the tennis and platform tennis area. It houses the tennis pro shop and is a center for member activities.
• Private Events / Catering. The upstairs room of the Racquet House may be reserved for private events only with written approval of the Racquets Director. Special arrangements for food and beverage may be made through the Club
• Cleanliness. Members are expected to clean up their own trash and help maintain a neat and orderly appearance of the house
Court Reservations
Members may make tennis or platform tennis court reservations online through the Club website or app up to ONE WEEK in advance. If a member is playing with a guest, the member may make a reservation up to THREE DAYS in advance.

Court Use
Tennis courts are for tennis play only. Platform tennis courts are for paddle play or pickleball, when the alternate surface is installed. General play may be preempted by scheduled events.
Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the tennis courts, but are otherwise allowed anywhere in the racquets area (including the Racquet House, tennis patio and other common areas). From Memorial Day to Labor Day, ALL beverages must be purchased from the Club; during other times of the year, members may bring their own beverages.
Private Instruction
Individual and group lessons may be arranged directly with the Racquets Director. Lesson charges will be chitted to the member’s account.
Youth Programs
The Racquets staff runs a robust youth tennis program during the summer. Contact the Racquets Director or the main Club office for information.
Guests
Guests are permitted on the tennis and paddle courts at a ratio of one guest to one member, provided that (1) the host member complies with our Guest Policy in the General Club Rules section and 2) the member must be on the court when the guest is playing. Guest fees are $10 each on weekdays and $20 each on weekends.
