General Club Rules

for you & your guests

This dress code defines the minimum requirements for proper attire. The Club always honors more traditional attire such as coats, ties and other modes of formal dress. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests comply with our dress code; please communicate with them to avoid embarrassment.

(children follow the Women’s or Men’s requirements unless otherwise noted)

Denim

NO DENIM of any color is allowed anywhere on Club property except when allowed in writing by the General Manager for specific events/venues.

Clubhouse

Casual attire in good taste – i.e., country club casual or better. Shoes must be worn at all times.

Women

• Hats are acceptable • No crop tops • No athletic wear, tennis apparel, or swim wear • No cutoffs, t-shirts or cargo shorts/pants

Men

• No hats or visors of any type • Collared shirts • No athletic wear, tennis apparel, or swim wear • No cutoffs, t-shirts or cargo shorts/pants

Golf

“Golf” includes the course, practice areas and halfway house area

Shoes must be worn on the golf course. Only soft spike and spikeless shoes are acceptable. Hats must always be worn forward.

Women

•Slacks or shorts/skirts of mid-thigh length or longer •Sleeveless shirts must have a collar •Shirts with sleeves do not require a collar •No cutoffs, t-shirts or cargo pants/shorts •No leggings or spandex pants or shorts •No athletic wear, tennis apparel or swim wear

Men

• Collared shirts with sleeves, always tucked-in • Slacks or shorts no more than 4" above the knee • No cutoffs, t-shirts or cargo pants/shorts • No athletic wear, tennis apparel or swim wear

Tennis Courts

• Tennis whites are required at all times on the courts, defined as appropriate white-colored tennis attire, including socks •Up to 10% colored trim is permitted. Outerwear (e.g., pullovers), shoes and hats may be of any color •Youth players are also permitted to wear white tennis-themed t-shirts (where all designs and/or artwork are tennis-related) •Only tennis shoes with light treads are permitted on the courts (no bare feet, sandals, heels or aggressive treads)

Racquet House & Common Areas

• Tasteful athletic wear or casual wear in keeping with the character of the Club •Shoes and shirts at all times •No swimsuits

Waterfront

“Waterfront” includes the Lakefront, Pool, Lakehouse and Picnic Grove Our waterfront is intended to be a relaxed, casual environment where attire is appropriate for a country club pool, beach and picnic activities (no denim).

•Lakeview dining (dinner service) attire is country club casual •No thong swimsuits •Beach/pool appropriate wear in good taste •Shirts or cover-ups required in Lakehouse

Fitness Center

•Fitness attire in good taste •Closed-toe shoes •During winter hours, no outside shoes in the fitness center
