These issues are a direct result of the passive layer being destroyed during the welding process and can quickly ruin the look and compromise the integrity of stainless steel.
The PX Series passivation brush restores that layer in a single, efficient step. Packed with millions of carbon fibres and powered by a continuous 80A current, the brush creates tiny arcs at the fibre tips that strip away tarnish, oxidation, and light scaling without harming the base metal.
Its flexible brush fibres reach into small spaces, allowing for a flawless finish. The brush length is adjustable and available in multiple shapes and sizes to suit any project. A specially formulated cleaning fluid boosts electrical conductivity and prevents overheating through evaporation.
During cleaning, oxygen released in the process bonds with the metal surface to form a fresh chromium-oxide film, rebuilding the protective passive layer.
Certified by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research, this method sets a new standard for cleaning and passivating stainless steel surfaces.

The Orbimax PX80 SMART is a versatile passivation and cleaning and polishing machine designed to elevate the quality and longevity of stainless steel surfaces. The switchable PX80 SMART AC/DC unit makes it easy to achieve a flawless, mirror-smooth finish in direct-current (DC) mode. This setting removes heavier discolouration, levels uneven areas, and restores the heataffected zone (HAZ) to the desired gloss.

Experience smart, seamless passivation with the PX Auto Feed, a patented plug-and-play system designed to work seamlessly with the PX Passivation Machines.
Simply connect the Auto Feed to your PX Passivation Machine, and let the intelligent system do the rest. Drawing power directly from your machine, the Auto Feed uses a built-in sensor to measure cleaning energy and automatically calculate the precise amount of passivation fluid required for the job.
Delivered through an acid-proof hose system and the Auto Feed handle, the electrolyte flows directly to the carbon fibre brush for consistent, controlled application with zero guesswork every time.
SAVE TIME WITH ON-DEMAND SUPPLY SMART DETECTION
The machine detects the amount of fluid required and adjusts the flow accordingly in real-time.

FLUID ALARM SYSTEM BUILT TO WORK
5ltr feed canister with capacity detection alerts the operator when fluid is running low.
Using a marking template or a label printer, you can apply custom logos directly to your workpieces with the PX series Passivation Machines.
Choose dark marking, which oxidises the surface, or light marking, which delicately removes a thin surface layer. Both methods create markings that are highly durable and resistant to chemicals and abrasion—ideal for surgical instruments, tools, and sanitary fittings.

The long-term templates supplied with this kit can be used up to 10,000 times. With a high resolution of 2.400dpi, fonts as small as 4pts can be used. An optional plastic frame gives the template more stability and makes it easier to align on the workpiece. The maximum template size is 80x50cm.
We supply everything you need for marking: devices, templates, electrolytes and accessories. All electrolytes are available in bottles of 100ml, 500ml, 1L and 5L.
