2026-2027 Sponsorship Guide

Page 1

Last year was one for the record books! With 150 community members and partners rallying behind Orange Beach City Schools and contributing over $1 million in support of our students, there were many people on board. But guess what? There is room for more! That is why this year we are calling on ALL to get Aboard!

Last year’s investments were intentionally used to expand academic enrichment, strengthen the arts, and elevate athletics—ensuring students had access to experiences that inspire, challenge, and prepare them for what lies ahead.

And the results were extraordinary!

With your support, we recognized incredible academic performances at the Mako Scholars Society Induction and Proficiency Parade, hosted our first-ever band festival, showcased powerful theatre productions, earned a #2 state report card ranking, and won many state and national athletic recognitions and championships.

As we look to the 2026–2027 school year, we aim to build on that momentum by ensuring the entire Orange Beach community remains engaged, unified, and moving forward together. In a coastal community like ours, we understand that progress requires everyone committed to the journey—steady hands, shared direction, and confidence in where we are headed.

When our community moves together, our students thrive.

The horizon ahead is bright. The course is clear. And together, we will continue to chart a path defined by excellence, opportunity, and pride in what we are building for the next generation.

Thank you for your belief in our schools, your investment in our students, and your partnership in shaping what comes next.

The Makos Academics, Arts and Athletics Club (MAAAC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 to support and enrich the educational experience of every student in Orange Beach City Schools. Created by community members who believe that investing in students is investing in the future of Orange Beach, MAAAC raises funds and directs support to programs that strengthen academics, expand opportunities in the arts, and elevate athletic excellence. Since its inception, the organization has raised and distributed more than $2.5 million to directly benefit students, staff, and school programs.

Each year, MAAAC brings together parents, educators, business leaders, and community partners through signature events and strategic partnerships to create exceptional opportunities for Orange Beach students. Working hand-in-hand with Orange Beach City Schools, MAAAC now leads a unified sponsorship effort designed to streamline support, maximize impact, and ensure every dollar is used effectively and strategically. Through this collaborative approach, MAAAC continues to build a strong network of supporters committed to excellence in education and to helping every student thrive as a Mako.
