15th Annual A Pair to Remember

Always fun. Always inspirational. Always in style. Beginning with a champagne reception and silent auction;followed by a beautifully presented luncheon and a lively live auction featuring deserving clients; and finished withan afternoon of more champagne and shopping, this signature fundraiser began in the Orlando market 15 years ago

and continues to be a hot ticket, often selling out weeks in advance.

It’s just a magical event. The

ladies who come together for this event come together in such high spirits to just have some fun and break out theirspring finery and enjoy each other’s company,”says Sue Ventura, CEO of EastersealsFlorida.

Held at The Mall at Millenia from10:30am – 2pm, attendees make a day of it,often organizing their own pre-parties.Champagne flows as guests prepare to bidon exclusive live auction items that includedesigner shoes, luxurious trips and VIPexperiences, and are presented by localcelebrity men and Easterseals clients. Afterthe luncheon and programming, stores inthe mall host after-parties with a percentageof sales often benefitting the organization.

“Eight years ago, I attended my first APair to Remember event and I saw the joyin the children’s eyes as they describedtheir day at Camp Challenge. I’ve seenthat same joy each year since and in thosemoments, they weren’t thinking aboutwhat made them different or their disabilitybut they were dreaming like all childrentheir age should have the ability to do. Eastersealsgives the gifts of hope, love and serviceto children, elders and their families. Ihave grown to love the event more eachyear and my goal is to make an even biggerimpact this year, so the organization can

serve more children!” says Sarah Grafton,chair, A Pair to Remember 2019.
