First, karma as a mirror. The energy you emit — whether kindness, irritation, or envy — tends to reflect back through choices, reactions, and the quality of your relationships. If you consistently choose integrity in small moments (a difficult conversation handled with honesty, a boundary upheld with kindness), you’re building a momentum that slowly shapes your character and circumstances. So, what does positive karma look like in practice? It’s about shifting from a mindset of punishment to one of accountability, boundary setting, and personal growth. Here are practical ways to align with constructive karma: • Set clear boundaries: Protect your well-being without shaming others. Boundaries are compassionate and practical, not punitive.

• Own your part: In every conflict, identify what you could have done differently and what you’ll do next time. This turns mistakes into learning opportunities.

T

here was a time in my life when the external world felt louder than my inner one.

Like many women, I spent years moving through life carrying responsibilities, expectations, and the unconscious conditioning of who I believed I needed to be. Beneath it all, however, there was always a quiet knowing within me — a deeper wisdom gently waiting to be remembered.

Meditation became the doorway back to that wisdom.

One of the greatest misconceptions I hear as a meditation teacher is that meditation is about stopping the mind or ‘getting rid’ of thoughts. In truth, meditation is not about silencing ourselves; it is about becoming aware. It is the practice of returning to presence and creating space to hear the deeper voice beneath the constant noise of the mental mind.

When I committed to a daily meditation practice, something profound began to shift within me. Slowly, I felt myself reconnecting to Universal Consciousness and the expansive intelligence that exists beyond the limited thinking mind. My awareness deepened, my heart opened, and I began to experience a greater sense of unity — not only with myself, but with life itself.

Meditation allowed me to reconnect with my intuition, empathic abilities, healing gifts, and my connection to the spirit realm. It awakened compassion, self-acceptance, and an understanding of unconditional love that cannot truly be explained in words, only experienced.

Most importantly, it awakened the Wise Woman within me.

It arrives differently each time.

How Trauma Can Shape Two Very

Different Survival Styles Healing Begins When We Stop Identifying With Our Survival Strategy and Start Understanding The Wound Beneath It. STORY MELISSA PARIS A Note Before Reading Narcissistic traits can sometimes develop through unresolved trauma and learned survival patterns. They are not a life sentence. When someone becomes self-aware, takes responsibility, and chooses to break inherited cycles, healing becomes possible. Awareness opens the door to change.

Trauma does not always look the same. Two people can experience emotional wounds, neglect, abandonment, or instability and yet grow into adults who cope in completely different ways.

One may become deeply empathetic, sensitive, and emotionally attuned. Another may develop narcissistic traits as emotional protection. Neither path usually begins as a conscious choice. Both can emerge as survival responses.

Understanding these patterns through the lens of trauma offers not only insight but compassion and, most importantly, awareness. At the core of both the empath and the person expressing narcissistic traits may be experiences of feeling unseen, unheard, unsafe, or loved conditionally. The nervous system adapts to survive, and personality patterns can form around what once created emotional safety.

The Empath’s Path An empath often develops in environments where emotional safety depended on reading others. They learn that if they understand people, anticipate needs, and keep the peace, they will remain emotionally safe. Over time, this can become hypervigilance around emotions, tone, and energy.

They may prioritise others to avoid conflict, internalise blame, and become deeply compassionate, often at their own expense.

Empaths can struggle with boundaries, overgive, and feel responsible for the emotions of others. They may confuse love with self-sacrifice and unconsciously abandon themselves in relationships.

The Narcissistic Adaptation Narcissistic traits can reflect a different adaptation — trauma turned outward. To protect against vulnerability, a person may build a carefully controlled identity designed to avoid shame, rejection, or emotional pain. They may suppress fear and inadequacy, seek validation, struggle with emotional intimacy, become defensive, or externalise blame.

Control, image, charm, criticism, or withdrawal can become ways to stay emotionally protected. Their survival strategy becomes emotional armour.

Why These Two Dynamics Are So Often Drawn Together The empath may sense the pain beneath another person’s defences and want to heal it. The other may be drawn to emotional availability and regulation they struggle to access within themselves.

What feels like deep connection can sometimes become trauma familiarity rather than healthy love. The empath gives more to feel secure. The other protects more to avoid pain.

Eventually, both remain disconnected from themselves.

Where Healing Begins Healing is where the paths begin to separate.

For the empath, healing means boundaries, self trust, and understanding that love does not require suffering.

For the person expressing narcissistic traits, healing requires accountability, emotional honesty, and willingness to experience vulnerability.

Not every empath is healthy. Not every narcissist is harmful.

But healing begins when compassion includes ourselves and accountability meets self awareness.

Trauma may shape us, but it does not have to define us.

Difficulty is the

training ground of character

M

odern culture quietly sells a comforting illusion: that a good life should feel smooth. When difficulty arrives, we often interpret it as failure or unfair treatment — a detour from the life we were supposed to be living.

The Stoics saw the opposite.

They believed that difficulty is not an interruption of the path; it is the path. Every challenge is a form of resistance training for the soul. Just as muscles strengthen under load, character develops under pressure.

A well-lived life is not one free from hardship. It is one in which hardship becomes material for growth.

When we resist difficulty emotionally — wishing it away, resenting its presence — we add a second layer of suffering. And if we are not careful, victimhood can insidiously move in. But when we meet challenge with curiosity and steadiness, it becomes instructive. It shows us where we are rigid, where we are resilient, and where we can expand. It reminds us to see ourselves as strong enough to withstand current challenges.

Stoicism does not glorify suffering.

It reframes it. Difficulty is neither punishment nor catastrophe. It is feedback. And feedback is simply information.

And like all information, it can be

integrated through the body as well as the mind.

These are questions I am asked almost daily.

And the truth — the one many professional intuitives don’t always say out loud — is this: You are psychic. We all are.

To be in human form is to carry an innate ability to access something deeper… something subtle, something powerful, something that often goes unnamed. You know that something. That quiet inner knowing. That feeling you can’t quite explain. That moment where you just know. That is the beginning.

In today’s world — one filled with constant noise, distraction, and digital overstimulation — we’ve slowly lost the ability to pause, breathe, and truly listen to ourselves. And I don’t believe that’s accidental. We’ve been conditioned away from our intuition, away from stillness, away from the whispers within us. Because when we are constantly distracted, we stop hearing the most important voice we have — our own inner voice, one that is derived from something bigger, more knowing and wise. A spiritual cheerleader of sorts, that sole purpose is to support, teach and guide us.

When I was younger, I was often described as ‘weird,’ ‘different,’ or ‘a dreamer.’ “She’s off with the fairies,” they’d say.

And truthfully… sometimes they still do.

But here’s the part that may surprise you — I didn’t shrink when I heard those words. I didn’t feel shame in the way many are taught to. Instead, I felt something else entirely… a quiet light within me that responded to that difference. A sense of pride. A knowing that this part of me — whatever it was — was not something to hide.

Even as a little girl, while I often felt left out or misunderstood, I leaned into that difference. I used it as a source of strength. Because deep down, it didn’t feel like a burden. It felt like a gift.

At around the age of eight, I could walk into a room and feel everything. Who was having a bad day. Who was carrying emotional pain. Who had illness in their body. Who felt safe… and who didn’t. It was overwhelming, and yet it was also beautiful.

I experienced emotions as though they were my own.

Physical sensations that didn’t belong to me. Moments of knowing that had no logical explanation. As a child, I assumed this was normal. It wasn’t until much later that I realised not everyone experiences the world this way.

One of the greatest influences in my life was my mother.

She didn’t dismiss what I felt. She didn’t silence it. She didn’t tell me to ‘be normal.’ Instead, she taught me something far 12

more powerful — that being different requires strength, and that strength and voice must go hand in hand. Because the truth is, those who don’t understand will often try to diminish what they can’t explain. They will label it, dismiss it, even shame it. And it takes courage not to internalise that.

It takes courage to stand in something you feel deeply, even when others don’t see it.

Many people think becoming psychic is a dramatic, lightning-bolt moment. But more often than not, it isn’t. It’s subtle. It’s layered. It’s something you’ve been experiencing your entire life — only one day, you finally recognise it for what it is.

For me, that recognition didn’t lead to fear. It led to curiosity. Instead of shutting it down, I leaned in. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I asked, “What is this trying to show me?” And that question changed everything.

There came a moment where I had a choice — to disconnect from what I felt, or to deepen into it. And I chose to go deeper.

Because what I felt in that connection — what some call Source, God, the Universe — was not something I wanted to lose. It felt like home. Like truth. Like something that existed not to overwhelm me, but to guide me.

So I anchored into it. I built strength within myself. I developed understanding. And over time, I allowed that connection to evolve. Not into something that made me ‘different’ from others, but into something that could help others reconnect with themselves.

What I have come to understand is this: spiritual sensitivity is not just a gift. It is a responsibility. When you are able to feel deeply, to sense beyond the surface, to connect to something greater — you become a light. And it becomes your role not to change others into what you think they should be, but to help them remember who they already are.

To help them reconnect to their own inner voice. Their own knowing. Their own ‘something’.

I didn’t ‘become’ a Psychic Medium overnight. I became someone who chose to trust what I had always felt. To honour it. To develop it. To use it with intention. What was once something that made me feel small is now the very thing that gives my life purpose.

1. Embodying the Divine Frequency OracleME: You’ve often spoken about becoming a ‘divine frequency holder’. Could you share what this means to you personally and how this embodiment has influenced your journey?

Deb: To me, being a divine frequency holder means living in full alignment with your soul’s original resonance; your true, unfiltered essence. Every living being emits a frequency, but over time, that signal often gets clouded. From early childhood, we unconsciously absorb the emotional debris, beliefs, and projections of others—parents, teachers, cultural systems. We take them on as if they were ours, distorting our natural frequency.

For much of my early life, I was living from those distortions; shaped by environments and energies that didn’t reflect my truth. The turning point came when I began to unravel which thoughts, emotions, and energetic patterns actually belonged to me, and which were inherited echoes.

That’s when everything changed.

Holding your divine frequency means learning to remember who you are underneath the conditioning. It’s not about becoming someone new; it’s about shedding what’s not yours so your natural brilliance can radiate clearly. When we vibrate from that place, we begin creating a life that is coherent with our soul’s blueprint, one that supports not only our own evolution but also uplifts the frequency of everyone we come into contact with.

2. The Genesis of The Quantum Blueprint OracleME: The Quantum Blueprint is a compelling concept. How did this vision come into being, and what core principles does it encapsulate in your work?

Deb: The Quantum Blueprint wasn’t just a rebrand, it was a soul directive.

Years ago, my work began under the name Triskele of Light Astro Therapies. But after seven years, during a moment of stillness while reconnecting with my private Facebook group of nearly 30,000 members, I felt a clear nudge from my guides: It’s time to evolve. Change the name. Shift the identity.

Uplevel everything.

I asked what it should be called, and instantly heard, The Quantum Blueprint. I saw a Star of David—a sacred geometry also embedded in my natal chart—and then, a heartbeat pulsing through its centre. I heard, “The heart is the container through which all life beats. To fully step into who you are, you must work through the quantum heart.”

This vision was more than branding; it was a transmission.

The quantum field is our true home; we are consciousness navigating through a physical avatar. Healing must happen on both levels—the energetic and the embodied.

The Quantum Blueprint became the foundation of my work: helping others realign with their divine coding by clearing interference, anchoring into the heart, and remembering who they truly are in the multidimensional field.

3. Liberating Energetic Patterns OracleME: In guiding clients toward energetic sovereignty, what recurring patterns do you observe that individuals are currently striving to transcend?

Deb: The most common threads I see in my clients are people-pleasing tendencies, poor self-image, leaky or nonexistent boundaries, hyper-independence, and an inner critic that never sleeps. Perhaps most significantly, many are unaware they’re even running these programs.

These patterns aren’t simply personality quirks—they’re energetic imprints that began long before birth. In fact, much of this conditioning can be traced back to the in-utero experience, where the developing embryo absorbs everything the mother feels. At that stage, it doesn’t yet recognise itself as a separate being. It simply feels, and it stores.

Add to this the emotional blueprinting of the first seven years of life, and you have a deeply embedded operating system that’s often been passed down through at least 14 generations.

These energetic codes take time to embed; and they require time, intention, and repetition to rewrite. True transformation isn’t about a single breakthrough moment, it’s a committed recalibration. When a soul is genuinely ready to evolve, that willingness becomes the ignition point. From there, the work is about integrating the new frequency until it becomes embodied truth.

4. Awakening the Remembers OracleME: You refer to your work as being for ‘the ones who remember’. Who are these individuals, and what is the significance of their remembrance in the context of your teachings?

Deb: The ones who remember are souls who’ve walked this Earth, and other realms, many times before. They carry ancient wisdom in their bones, in their energy field, in the very cadence of their thoughts. But often, the amnesia of birth clouds that inner knowing.

Through life’s challenges, divine timing, and planetary alignments, these individuals begin to stir. Something awakens.

And what looks like a new skill or sudden interest is actually a cellular remembrance of something they’ve already mastered across lifetimes.

I recall during my studies in psychological astrology, my teacher said, “You’re not learning—you’re remembering.”

That phrase struck a chord so deep within me that it became a guiding principle in my work.

When I look at a natal chart—a soul’s blueprint—I can often see clearly who is ready to remember. The clients who are drawn to me don’t arrive by chance. They come because they’re vibrationally aligned and ready to activate their deeper mission. They are the soul-healers, light-bringers, and grid-workers here to support humanity’s evolution.

Remembrance isn’t a concept; it’s a calling. And once it begins, there’s no going back. Only forward, into purpose.

5. Alchemy Between Trauma and Expansion OracleME: Between the realms of trauma and soul expansion lies a transformative space. How do you perceive the alchemical processes that occur within this space?

Deb: The space between trauma and expansion is razorthin, but immensely potent. It’s a realm where alchemy lives.

Our cells are a living community, each with its own immune system, function, and intelligence. They’re composed of 50% DNA and 50% protein, and it’s our thoughts that instruct the proteins, shaping cellular expression. In essence, your biology is taking its cues from your beliefs.

Trauma becomes trapped when the body is given repeated signals of fear, lack, or pain; often born from a single moment that the mind couldn’t process. But here’s the alchemy: the same neural and cellular pathways that encode trauma also hold the key to liberation.

When I’m working in the quantum field, I often see both frequencies—trauma and expansion—alive at once. The difference isn’t in the biology itself, but in the vibration that activates it. By flipping the energetic instruction; changing the emotional narrative, we begin to transmute stored pain into potential.

This is the alchemical space: where old programs dissolve, and the soul gets to reauthor its reality. It’s not just healing, it’s evolution in motion.

6. Anchoring Multidimensional Wisdom OracleME: Multidimensionality is a cornerstone of your practice. How do you assist clients in accessing and integrating higher wisdom into their daily lives?

Deb: The truth is, we are already multidimensional beings—we’re just conditioned to forget. The 3D world, with all its noise, keeps us fixated on the physical. But our guidance, clarity, and truth often reside in the subtler realms, the ones just beneath the surface of thought and just beyond the veil of logic.

My work helps clients safely bridge those realms by first creating energetic coherence within the nervous system. If the body is in survival mode, it can’t receive higher frequency information, it will interpret it as a threat. So we begin by regulating the energy field and establishing safety in the system. Once grounded, the intuitive channels open with more clarity, and the heart becomes the translator of higher guidance.

In the quantum field, wisdom doesn’t always arrive in words—it can come as vibration, visual codes, or sudden knowing. My role is to help clients trust those signals and anchor them through embodied action. That might look like adjusting a boundary, shifting a belief, or creating space for a new reality to land.

The real magic? When they start living from that higher frequency, consistently. That’s when their external life begins to match the inner alignment.

7. Personal Practices for Clarity and Expansion

But in order to fulfil your mission, you must first choose you; not the persona, not the programming, but the truth of your soul.

OracleME: Maintaining clarity and expansion in one’s field is vital. What personal practices do you engage in to sustain your own energetic alignment?

Deb: My daily practices are non-negotiable; they’re the scaffolding that holds me steady so I can hold others.

Every morning, before the world gets loud, I drop into stillness.

Sometimes that’s through meditation, sometimes breathwork, sometimes simply listening to the frequencies around me and tuning into what my body needs. I check in with my energy field as though it’s an old friend; what’s present today? What’s shifted overnight? This builds intimacy with the self and keeps my field responsive rather than reactive.

As a grid-worker, I’ve also felt that same pull in sacred lands like being guided to anchor light in Tasmania and support a cleansing of the land.

These roles aren’t something I try to be. They’re what awakens in me when I listen deeply and follow the call.

9. Message to the Awakening Souls

Grounding is essential. I work with the Earth’s electromagnetic field daily, either physically, with my feet on the ground, or energetically by anchoring into the grid. I also use sound healing, especially Solfeggio frequencies, to recalibrate my system when it feels off-centre.

Movement, hydration, sunlight, and rest are sacred rituals, not just habits. They keep my physical vessel strong enough to carry the higher frequencies I work with.

And perhaps most importantly, I stay curious. I ask questions inward, I listen, and I allow the mystery to speak.

That’s what keeps the channel clear; not striving, but softening.

My clarity comes not from doing more, but from consistently coming home to myself through grounding barefoot as often as possible.

8. Living as a Soul Channel and Grid-Worker OracleME: You’ve identified as a ‘soul channel’ and ‘gridworker’. Can you recount a moment when these roles were profoundly activated within you?

Deb: There have been many moments, but one still vibrates in my bones.

I was guiding a group activation during a planetary alignment, one that connected deeply with the Earth’s crystalline grid. As I dropped in, the room around me dissolved.

I could feel the magnetic pull of the grid points, like invisible threads calling me into position. My voice began to move with a language that wasn’t mine, encoded with frequencies I wasn’t consciously aware of but completely trusted. The group began to shift. Tears, laughter, body movements. It was as if their souls were remembering in real time.

In that moment, I wasn’t doing the work. I was simply the vessel and bridge between realms. The energy was coming through me, not from me. And that’s the essence of being a Soul Channel: surrendering the ego and allowing pure source intelligence to move as needed.

OracleME: For those awakening to their divine blueprint, what message or energetic transmission do you feel called to share at this pivotal time?

Deb: You are not broken, you are encoded.

reams need an action underneath them before anything starts to build. Not a big one, not a brave one, just the next real step taken on an ordinary day. The gap between dreaming and doing is where the actual work lives.

There’s a phrase that lives rent-free in most of our heads, and it goes like this: “One day”.

“One day I’ll start properly.”

“One day I’ll feel ready.”

“One day I’ll stop overthinking and just do it.”

It sounds responsible because it doesn’t say ‘never’. It just keeps nudging the start line a little further into the future.

The reason “one day” feels so safe is because nothing has tested the dream yet.

Inside your imagination the project works, the audience gets it, the new habit sticks, and the future version of you is calm and organised. Action introduces something

different; it introduces real life, with all of its uncertainty and the possibility of getting it wrong. That gap between dreaming and doing is where most of us pause for far longer than we meant to. Not because we don’t care enough. Usually because the next step feels emotionally bigger than we expected.

One of the most common mix-ups about change is the belief it has to arrive in cinematic moments. A grand decision, a big leap, a transformative weekend away. Sometimes change does work like that. More often, it shows up through repeated ordinary moves that initially feel far too small to matter.

A single walk doesn’t change your health. One paragraph doesn’t write the book. One short conversation doesn’t reset your relationship with someone. The point of small actions isn’t the size of any individual move. The point is that small things keep happening when life is normal. You can still do something small while tired, busy, or unsure of yourself. That’s exactly why they work. Small actions survive ordinary days, and ordinary days are where most of life actually happens.

Stage 2: ACTION MODE Writing one paragraph on a piece of paper Sending the first message Doing the smallest next step today Doing something while still a little unsure Starting on a Tuesday afternoon Neither stage is wrong. Dreaming is where you figure out what you actually want and why it matters. Action is where the dream meets real life and you start moving toward it. The two are tied together more closely than people realise. One stage without the other doesn’t build much; dreaming on its own stays in your head, and action without a clear sense of what you’re building tends to be motion without much direction. The two stages need each other, and most of the time you’ll move back and forth between them.

The Lesson Never Arrives Until You Start Here’s the part nobody warns you about. You can analyse an idea for months and still not know whether it works for you.

One real attempt usually teaches more than all the planning combined. Sometimes what you learn is encouraging.

Sometimes it stings a little. Both are useful, because both move you forward.

A lot of us avoid starting because we’re nervous about discovering we’re not instantly brilliant at the thing. The catch

is that not starting carries its own kind of pain; frustration, feeling stuck in place, and even watching the years move past while you stand still. Movement doesn’t always feel exciting in the moment, but it tends to feel a lot better than no movement. Clarity usually shows up after the start of doing the action steps, not before.

Manifestation Looks More Like A Nudge Than A Miracle A quick word on manifestation, because it gets used in some confusing or misrepresented ways. What I’ve experienced has been less about wishing hard at the universe and more about noticing differently. When something matters without fear, your attention starts catching things it used to skim past.

What manifestation often actually looks like in real life: • A persistent idea that won’t leave you alone • A sudden urge to message someone specific • An old skill or interest feeling relevant again • Discomfort with the current direction • A pull toward opening the file you keep avoiding Those moments only become something if you take them up. People sometimes miss manifestations because they’re waiting for exaggerated miracles while ignoring the whisper invitations. The dream you’ve been holding rarely arrives fully formed at your door. It arrives as the urge to open the laptop. As the morning when going for a walk feels possible.

As the discomfort that tells you something needs to change.

Ready Almost Never Comes First A lot of people wait to feel ready before they start. Most of the time it works the other way around. You start a little unsure, do the thing a few times, and the doing is what builds the confidence. Not the waiting.

Most meaningful things involve some uncertainty: starting something new, putting something into the world, changing direction, trying again after a flop, having a real conversation that’s been overdue. If you wait until the nervous feeling completely lifts, you might wait a very long time. Courage rarely looks loud or obvious. From the outside it can look pretty calm. On the inside there’s usually nerves, doubt, and plenty of mixed feelings going on at once. Real courage is taking the next step that is available to you and makes sense, just without needing the whole path mapped out first. That’s it in a nutshell. If you do this a few times a week or more, before you know it, when you look at how much you’ve achieved two months later, there would be considerable progress than waiting for that perfect time.

What is Your Next Smallest Step?

The smallest action counts and moves you along the path.

Pick one and write it somewhere you’ll see tomorrow morning.

Make it small, make it honest, and make it something that fits into today.

Dreams matter. Direction matters. So does the very first move that turns the dream into something real, and small is enough to start it.

e are living through one of those rare thresholds in time where the veil between realities feels thinner, more permeable, and less certain. Many people sense it but cannot name it. The old structures are still standing, yet something invisible is dissolving beneath them. This is the signature of the Saturn/Neptune cycle now unfolding, a meeting between the architect of reality (Saturn) and the ocean of consciousness (Neptune).

Saturn represents form, boundaries, time, fear, and the frameworks that hold our lives together. Neptune dissolves form and can create distortion, governing dreams, intuition, mysticism, and the unseen forces that shape our inner world.

When these two energies converge, we experience both confusion and awakening. What once felt solid begins to blur.

Systems we trusted reveal cracks. Identities built on certainty begin to soften and recalibrate, leaving us as a collective feeling temporarily totalled.

The invitation is simple, though not always easy: slow down, listen, and reflect. Notice where life is dissolving roles you’ve outgrown, where responsibility is calling you forward with encouragement for full alignment. This is what initiation feels like; it is never pretty until complete.

s a numerologist, palm reader and psychic, I am always humbled by the families who come in to work with me.

So often, my clients are finally ready to realise their Soul potential, after seeing repeating numbers such as 11:11. I love being able to create practical breakthroughs with them.

As we journey through their contracts, aka DOB and name numerology charts and 12-month forecasts, it becomes evident that intergenerational, even interdimensional, healing is possible. I came to numerology in my late 20s, from a background of science, fundraising and activism. In a short period of time, I read a couple of profound books, one of which, an acquaintance bought me. He saw me standing in the Relaxation Centre shop in Brisbane and said, “You have to get that!” It was The Life You Were Born to Live by Dan Millman.

The concept of adding up a date of birth to find one’s spiritual purpose seemed crazy, until I sat down one night and did the charts of everyone close to me. I saw the incredible patterns in their life paths and DOB grids, especially among my ex-partners and family. I felt like I had stumbled across the meaning of my life. It truly was love at first (in)sight.

After years of doing psychic readings on the weekends and after hours, I made the switch to full time self-employment in 2012. It was terrifying, as I come from a conservative Asian family and had been working in management. It felt like I was jumping off a cliff, especially financially.

However, I wanted to make a difference in the new age industry, so I picked up some fantastic mentors early on. Many of them are still dear friends, who teach in my communities to this day. I was also fortunate to make a mark in the media, through commercial radio and TV interviews.

Deciding to link the chakras with numerology was a

big step. I first learned about this esoteric connection when exploring yoga and Reiki/energy healing. Not many numerologists or textbooks seemed to be talking about the overlaps, at least back then. I was looking for a way to teach numbers to people from all walks of life, in a fast and accessible way.

As soon as I began talking about each person’s life path in terms of the chakras they were here to heal; the collective light bulbs went off. Sessions and classes became intensely personal and even more accurate. It was so satisfying to witness the ‘pops’ as people immediately understood certain issues they kept facing in their private and professional lives.

Sarah Yip I’ve now read for almost 6, 000 clients and taught hundreds of spiritual workshops since 2006 (mainly numerology, palmistry and intuition). It never gets boring. I can’t imagine doing anything else because every day is so fascinating. I also love being able to work around my kids, as I am the sole parent of three cheeky, telepathy young boys.

In terms of anecdotes: • There will always be synchronicities between parents and children, especially when it comes to life paths. Sometimes, these connections are obvious (such as a family of all 1 life paths). At other times, it is more nuanced (for example, grandchildren having similar numbers and personalities to ancestors). Having done my family’s charts, I am astonished at the precision. My eldest son Forrest, is an 18/9 life path Old Soul. When he is 18 (his adult life path turning point), I will be 53, which is a huge shift in both my numerology and palmistry. I believe children pick us, long before birth, however we still have free will in the relationship.

• I have met countless life path 5 clients with a history of throat (5th chakra) issues, often stemming from childhood to when I meet them. Often, they will cover their mouth or cough just as I start the reading. They also have past/present life stories of being persecuted or bullied until they lost their voices. We often do healings around reclaiming their intuition. It’s gotten to the point where I can occasionally guess someone’s life path, just from talking to them.

• Old Souls are among my favourite types to work with.

Many of them have strong 9 numerology. They rarely come in for readings, unless they are truly at an impasse. Usually everyone goes to them for help, so they aren’t used to asking for support. I teach my students that if a 9 life path comes in, they should take the booking, as it could be years before the opportunity returns.

Once, I spoke at a property conference and couldn’t help but prank the crowd (I’ve also studied comedy). I asked all the 9 life paths to stand up. Guess what? They were almost all at one table. The room of 200+ people gasped. I joked to my friend that 9 life paths are so proud and private, that it would take them a year to forgive me. Sure enough, it took several months before some of these Souls came in. Luckily for my business, other attendees booked in much sooner.

• I specialise in helping those with prominent Master Number 11, 22, 33 or 44 in their charts.

As a Master 11 life path (The Spiritual Messenger — I say it’s more like Don’t Shoot The Spiritual Messenger), I understand how sensitive these people can be. It’s common for them to see repeating numbers as numerology can help them to truly understand why they feel ‘different.’ Often, they have strong Starseed energy — you could say they are futuristic, almost alien.

In my experience, a Master Number brings double ups and downs. You have more psychic ability and healing powers, but also more responsibility to be an ethical leader and to use your influence for the highest good. It’s easy to become famous, but this can turn to notoriety. Mental health can be tricky, unless you have a community of friends, who unconditionally love you.

Nothing Girl

takes up space STORY MANDY FLINT

I

t was really quite difficult to write this article.

To talk about Nothing Girl (one of my many child parts), feels like trying to grasp water.

Nothing Girl feels elusive and ethereal, evaporating into nothingness at the slightest glimpse of the social spotlight.

Nothing Girl was shaped from early experiences of violence and fear, where invisibility, shrinking down and staying small were her only defenses.

She deployed them in many forms — from a compliant yes, or a nodding smile, to a complete disappearing act, leaving others scratching their heads as they watched the vacant look on her very young face. In adult life, she avoids intense social interactions that ask her to share parts of herself for fear of judgment and intense shame. Nothing Girl, whilst small and unassuming, is a beautifully designed defense system for a little girl who was totally defenseless.

This is not a new concept for women. Much of the conditioning of women and girls has taught us to take up as little space as possible. So, as I’ve embarked on my deep soul dive and creative journey, Nothing Girl has been hovering, watching…

She waits holding her breath as I begin to embark on a more public expression of my inward journey. See, I have this strong creative part too, that wants to share my inner world, as I truly believe that hearing others’

stories through art and writing helps you to feel less exiled from yourself and the collective.

The juxtaposition is that Nothing Girl doesn’t really like this strong creative part and has now pulled rather intensely on her ‘stay small’ levers, into full wallflower mode, as I put more of myself out into the world.

The intense protective strategy of disappearing into nothingness is a safe place, but staying there in the comfort of invisibility means abandoning all the parts of me that deserve to take up space and reclaim their rightful place in the world.

So, I turn toward her whenever I feel the inevitable retracting, shrinking or avoiding taking hold. I see her, I hold space for her, and I thank her for the many ways she kept me safe throughout my life. She might be small, but she is formidable, my long-time friend and she deserves my love and respect, especially as she learns to take up more of this new and scary space.

This is why so many women describe feeling ‘tired but wired’ — exhausted physically, yet unable to truly rest.

Ayurveda does not recognise this pattern as a mental flaw.

Instead, it is viewed as depletion of the body’s reserves due to the scattered, fast moving, internal energies of ether and air. life appears calm externally, internally the body may still be bracing. This can manifest as overthinking, peoplepleasing, perfectionism, emotional exhaustion, inability to rest, hormonal imbalance and feeling disconnected from joy, intuition and inner peace.

ight months after losing the person I thought I would grow old with, I’ve discovered that grief has seasons no one warns you about. The first season is shock — a blur of logistics, tears that come without warning, and a body that forgets how to breathe. But the second season, the one I’m in now, is quieter and far more confronting. It’s the moment you realise you’re still here. You’re still alive. And life is asking you to participate again.

Grief has become my teacher. It has stripped me, stretched me, broken me open, and shown me the parts of myself I had forgotten. It has taught me that healing isn’t a destination — it’s a devotion. A daily choosing. A willingness to meet yourself again and again, even when it hurts.

This is what I call The Second Awakening — the point where you stop waiting to ‘feel normal’ and start learning how to live inside a world that has been permanently rearranged.

It’s not about moving on. It’s about moving with. With the memory. With the ache. With the love that didn’t die.

Grief lives in the body long before it becomes words. My nervous system has carried the imprint of that morning — the shaking, the adrenaline, the way my breath caught in my throat and stayed there for months. Even now, my body speaks before my mind does. Some days it whispers. Some days it trembles. Some days it curls in on itself, asking for softness, slowness, and safety. This is grief in the body — the part no one sees, but the part that shapes everything.

And, as I prepared to leave for Bali in May, I felt another layer unfolding. I didn’t say yes to that trip as an escape. I said yes because something inside me knew I needed space — real

space — to breathe again. I spent seven days at a women’s retreat, and then six days travelling alone, where no one knew my story and I got to meet myself without the weight of other people’s expectations.

This was travelling with grief — packing your clothes, your passport, your toothbrush… and the absence. Carrying the moments he would never see, the sunsets he would never stand beside you for, the courage it takes to let yourself experience beauty without him.

I didn’t know exactly who I would be on the other side of that trip. But I did know this: eight months in, I was not healed. But I am healing. And for now, that is enough.

or me, the shift with AI art is not really about replacing artists. It is about opening doors that simply did not exist before for everyday people with powerful ideas.

A few years ago, creating an oracle deck was financially out of reach for many spiritual entrepreneurs. You either needed to be an artist yourself or have the budget to hire one.

stories, wisdom, and lived experience. People who may have had incredible concepts sitting in journals for years but no practical way to turn them into something tangible.

That is the part that excites me the most.

And honestly, the people who are thriving with AI are not usually the ones trying to shortcut the process. They are the ones using it as a creative partner. The magic still comes from the concept, the intention, the storytelling, the emotional resonance, and the ability to create something that genuinely connects with people.

Because contrary to what some assume, AI does not magically spit out a successful deck.

You still need vision.

You still need branding.

You still need to understand symbolism, audience connection, card flow, guidebook writing, packaging, printing, and marketing. You still need to know how to turn an idea into an experience people want to hold in their hands.

That is where the real work is.

I think there is also an important conversation to have around the emotional reaction people sometimes have toward AI art, especially in spiritual spaces. I understand it. Spiritual businesses are often deeply heart-led and personal, so of course people are protective of creativity and authenticity.

But I also believe AI is simply a tool. Just like Canva was once controversial. Just like digital photography was once controversial. The integrity comes from the person using it.

I have seen AI used in ways that feel empty and disconnected. But I have also seen it used to help people express visions they could never previously afford to create.

That feels powerful to me.

Personally, I use AI practically. Midjourney is still one of my favourite tools for creating oracle-style artwork because of the depth and beauty you can achieve when you understand prompting properly. I also think tools like ChatGPT are incredible for helping structure concepts, brainstorm themes, and support the creative process around the deck itself.

The biggest misconception is that AI removes creativity.

From what I have experienced, it often unlocks it.

It gives people permission to dream bigger. To experiment.

To finally create the thing they have carried inside them for years without needing tens of thousands of dollars upfront to make it real.

And honestly, that shift is huge.

That moment is not a money problem. It is a clarity problem.

Three questions I ask every single person I work with: • What does your life need to cost right now to function — genuinely function, not just survive?

• What are you building toward, and does your current financial behaviour reflect that?

• W here are the small daily decisions quietly costing you the future you want?

Most people have never been asked these questions in a way that is practical enough to actually answer. They have been given spreadsheets. They have been given generic advice. But they have never been given a framework that connects their values to their numbers.

That is the missing piece.

As time passed and the world evolved, the ancient art of scrying has also evolved as it’s been passed down through the generations. In modern days, we have learned to use many different mediums to scry with.

like paintings or drawings, smoke from fire or incense, clouds, all have evolved from the very beginning.

Although most oracles or seers have been born into their abilities and are known to be stronger with their visionary work, it is a skill that can also be learnt and honed. I’ve always considered myself to be an oracle, as it seemed to come naturally. Unfortunately, I’m unaware of my heritage, but have forever had strong spiritual abilities. I love the oracle; I consider it to be a broader spiritual term for everything I do.

I’ve been called a witch, a psychic, a medium, and so on, but I feel more drawn to, and more like, an oracle. I use many different forms/techniques in my divination work.

I closed my eyes one more time, holding the paper to my heart and gave thanks for all the messages and reminders I had received from the spirit realm.

It has always fascinated me, when I look at something and see things that others don’t, and get messages.

I like to play with different mediums because sometimes it can give you a new perspective on the answer you are looking for, especially if you are feeling a little blocked from other forms of divination.

One of the newer forms of scrying is art scrying, where you gaze upon a piece of art or a drawing, soften your focus, almost go into a meditative trance, and allow the visions to come forward.

An Oracle Divination: In this scrying, I sat quietly with my eyes closed, listening to nature. I asked my guides for any guidance they could offer for my business and inspirational ventures with the business. When I heard the words “we are ready”, I opened my eyes. I had a piece of white paper which I then scrunched up, held it to my heart, then my 3rd eye, then my heart, keeping in mind my question. I unfolded the paper and gently flattened it out. I looked at the pallet of pastels and was drawn to the royal blue one, which I picked up and gently rubbed it over the paper. I took a few slow deep breaths as I gazed at the paper, allowing any visions to present themselves (without forcing anything). There they were, clear as day. I picked up a red pen and circled them until I heard the words “finished now”.

For me, it was all reminders. I chuckled internally, as I’d been getting the same message for a few weeks in a row. I had not been myself for some time and was not following my routines as I used to and felt I’d let myself down a little. This scrying divination was telling me my spirit guides (the faces) are watching, waiting for me to ask for help and are ready to guide me in the direction I was meant to follow. The wolf reminding me I’m protected; I have the strength and courage to witness new inner wisdom and changes which are positively balanced. The cat also offered messages of protection and positive vibes. Reminding me to go deeper with my intuition and personal magick; reconnect and follow my instincts more again; to be patient, observe and then act. The dolphins were reminding me to rediscover the joys in life, be gentle with myself and my emotions of which I need to be less judgmental about. They too reminded me that I am protected, that I’m being guided back to my path, my destiny. Trust and believe in myself and the reconnections that have always been within me. Bring back the love and joy to share with the world around me. Then I was shown two letters — “E D”. Of which ALL of the spirit guides called out to me together at

the same time. They said, “Every Day!”. Yep! By this stage of the oracle scrying, I was definitely listening, with a huge smile on my face and an abundance of gratitude in my heart. I was covered in goosebumps and felt so much warmth and love.

I closed my eyes one more time, holding the paper to my heart and gave thanks for all the messages and reminders I had received from the spirit realm. I opened my eyes and went about my day.

I love the oracle that I am and have become, ever evolving, learning, reading. This has transformed my whole entire life and gets me back on track whenever needed. When I first began reading for people publicly, I did advertise as ‘psychic readings’, which was widely understood and accepted. But I stopped that years ago, as I believed that I was an oracle and was guided to put it out there for people, and trust they would understand, which I easily educated the ones who didn’t.

I began to advertise with my business, ‘Oracle Readings’, which was more in tune with my heart. It was one of the best things I did and warmly accepted, along with being inspiring.

The last thing he felt was the elephant’s heartbeat.”

That line stayed with me long after the session ended.

The client found himself in the body of a young man working in a forested area somewhere in rural Asia. He was poor, hardworking and spent his days helping elephants drag large trees back to the village so homes and buildings could be constructed.

At first, the memory felt simple. Just another life. Another job.

But then the emotional connection started to emerge.

While many of the other handlers used force and control with the elephants, this man approached things differently.

He spoke about working with the animal, not against it.

There was patience, understanding and mutual trust between them.

The elephant wasn’t a tool to him.

It was a companion. His companion.

During the session he said something that felt incredibly profound in its simplicity: “If you do it the right way, it’s easy with love and understanding.”

As the regression unfolded, it became clear that the deepest relationship in that lifetime wasn’t with another human being. It was with this elephant he worked beside every day.

And then the scene shifted.

A large tree fell while they were working and trapped them both beneath it.

What struck me most wasn’t his fear of death. There wasn’t any.

Instead, all his focus was on the elephant. He spoke about the helplessness of watching his companion suffer and not being able to save him.

Even after realising he wouldn’t survive, he stayed there beside the elephant until its final heartbeat.

That was the moment that stayed with me.

Not because it was dramatic but because it revealed something many of us understand deep down, that some connections go beyond words, status, or even species.

As humans, we often think the most important relationships in our lives must be romantic or familial. But sometimes the souls that impact us most deeply are simply the ones that made us feel safe enough to be fully ourselves.

Maybe that’s what carries forward across lifetimes.

Not necessarily who we were… but who we felt understood by.

Whether someone views past life regression as spiritual memory, subconscious symbolism, or something else entirely, these experiences often reveal emotional truths that resonate deeply in the present.

And sometimes, those truths arrive in the quietest ways.

Sometimes they arrive through the heartbeat of an elephant.
