Edition SEPTEMBER 2025

Board Members,
Options For All continues to perform exceptionally across all three pillars of our strategic plan. Guided by our purpose and core values, we are turning challenges into opportunities for growth, advocacy, and innovation.
Best Place to Work
Our continued recognition as a Top Workplace reflects our deep commitment to belonging. This year, we strengthened that foundation through policy updates that reinforce safety and equity for all team members. We also introduced Compassion For All a program that helps employees navigate unexpected financial hardships with dignity and care. Our 40th Anniversary celebrations closed on a high note in the Inland Empire, honoring four decades of service and the people who made them possible.
Deliver Exceptional Services
Despite the statewide pause in Department of Rehabilitation programs, our Employment Services teams are expanding new pathways and strengthening existing ones to ensure continuity and opportunity. Project SEARCH interns at the San Diego Zoo continue to thrive, showing how inclusion fuels both personal and organizational success.
Thriving Business Model
Financially, Options For All remains strong. Year-to-date operating income stands at $2.39M far exceeding budget expectations—driven by strong contract revenue and effective cost management. This performance provides a solid, necessary foundation for the coming fiscal year.
Advocacy and Community Impact
The signing of AB 815 (Ortega) by Governor Newsom marks a major victory for Direct Support Professionals and the entire disability services sector. Options For All played a central role in advancing this legislation, ensuring DSPs can use their vehicles without unfair insurance penalties.
At the same time, we are forging new partnerships with organizations such as Abraxas High School, Stepping Stone of San Diego, and the San Diego Center for Children expanding our reach and creating new bridges to employment and independence.
Looking Ahead
Operational metrics remain strong: 93% client retention, full program capacity, and steady new enrollments. As we look toward FY25–26, our focus remains clear: protect what’s strong, improve what can be better, and keep building a future where everyone we serve and everyone on our team can live, work, and love life in their community with dignity and respect.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
Brian
