NEW ORLEANS PUBLIC SCHOOLS JOB DESCRIPTION RTI PARAPROFESSIONAL - MATH JOB GOAL:
To assist in implementation of instructional program.
QUALFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of an associates degree, or 48 college credits from an accredited college or university, or have a passing score on the Praxis Para Professional examination.
REPORTS TO:
Administratively: Principal Programmatically: Supervising Teacher
SUPERVISES:

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists teacher in administering, scoring, and recording achievement and diagnostic tests. 2. Implements program under direction of teachers; operates audio-visual equipment; uses variety of learning materials. Evaluates progress cooperatively with teacher. 3. Assists teacher with required clerical/recordkeeping duties 4. Works with individual students or small groups of student to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. 5. Assists in arranging room, materials and bulletin boards. 6. Operates and cares for equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes. 7. Assists in preparation of instructional materials. 8. Participates in in-service meetings, as assigned. 9. Performs such other duties as may be required.
Salary Range: Grade SB02 of the Orleans Parish School Board Salary Schedule.
