Meet John
John wanted a job where he felt comfortable and where he belonged. Working with OE’s JobSource program, he found just that! Today, he is one of the chefs in an elementary school within Valparaiso Community Schools. He is loved by the students and even earned his chef’s coat!
Meet Michael
Michael is part of OE’s Career Connections Day Program. Once shy, he has really come out of his shell and is helpful to his peers. It was his connection with OE’s Direct Support Professionals that helped his transformation into confidence.
Meet Matt
Matt, once a client of OE, is now a co-worker employed by SecureShred. He also is part of OE’s Residential program. Matt set a huge goal for himself and achieved it! He earned his driver’s license and purchased his own car.

Always held on the 4th Monday of August at Valparaiso Country Club, this event is full of networking, volunteers, and fun.
Our Popcorn Shop
Join us in an inclusive work environment and learn from our staff of all abilities what it is like to do good during the holiday season — packing gift boxes, labeling products, and all the steps along the way.
Art Barn Art Blitz
The third week in September, help showcase artwork of clients by volunteering a few hours at the Art Blitz.
Angel Tree
Each year, generous donors provide holiday wishes of our clients. Gift wrapping always is needed this time of year!
Adopt a Group Home or Supported Living Site
