#MULTIPLYING INSPIRATION
At Oportunidades program,we educate, empower, and build our nation
Oportunidades FGK is an educational program whose goal is to provide young Salvadorans with better tools and high-quality, innovative learning opportunities connected to today’s world. Over these 18 years, the Oportunidades FGK Program has impacted the lives of 4,651 young adults through partnerships with 16 universities across the country. To date, more than 2,000 higher-education scholarships have been awarded, 1,051 people have completed the Employability Certification Program, and 1,043 people have been placed in internships and permanent positions. As the partnership with USAID came to a close, 297 students graduated from the program’s four training centers across both formats. After three years of complementary education in English, entrepreneurship, language development, mathematics, and other areas, they successfully completed Phase 1 of the initiative.
