In 2017, the Oportunidades Program celebrated another milestone by adding 104 new Phase 1 graduates, marking another successful year in its mission to support young adults from low-income backgrounds with strong leadership potential in Salvadoran society. Since its creation, the program has benefited more than 1,000 students through complementary education and scholarships for higher education, achievements made possible through a network of strategic partnerships with different organizations and universities. These accomplishments highlight the program’s tangible impact on students’ lives, offering opportunities that go beyond basic education and opening doors to future academic and professional opportunities.
