Food Division

European no. 2 for processed foods The Food Division supplies two and three piece round cans to the high volume segments of the food market, such as pet foods, fruit and vegetables, soups and ready meals, whilst at the same time providing a platform for differentiated value-added cans and opening systems. New product launches such as oval pâté cans with peelable ends and single serve pet food cans with Easy Open ends provide innovation and impetus in highly competitive markets.

The Food Division has thirteen factories with excellent geographical coverage across Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

By concentrating production of components in specialised European centres and making finished cans close to our markets (including wall to wall facilities), Impress delivers high value for all our food customers. Our focus on Supply Chain excellence, together with responsive experts, helps deliver first class customer service.

Seafood Division

Worldwide no. 1 in Seafood cans With over 150 different shapes and sizes in aluminium and steel, this Division of Impress offers the largest range of seafood cans in the world, each one adapted to the characteristics of the particular product. Our containers are mainly high added value shaped and printed two-piece cans with Easy Open and Easy PeelÂŽ ends. Printing is specialised in two European centres of excellence that deliver to our canmaking factories worldwide , each with highly automated graphics and pre-press units and a long experience in decorating two-piece drawn cans using pre-distortion technology.

We serve large multinational customers as well as many smaller customers throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia, creating cans for tuna, sardines, herring and many other types of seafood.

Growth in this sector has been driven by consumer demand for healthier products with Impress expertise supporting this trend by innovative use of components, materials and design. One example is the successful introduction of seafood salads in Impress’ printed bowls with peelable lids, a major factor in the creation of a new volume segment on the seafood market.
