TWO NEW SCOTTISH RESTAURANTS AWARDED MICHELIN STARS

The Michelin 2023 Great Britain and Ireland Guide has been announced and two Edinburgh restaurants have been awarded with stars.

Timberyard, on Lady Lawson St and Heron in Leith are the newest additions to the list to be awarded with one star.

Timberyard is a family-run restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh. Set in an authentic warehouse dating back to the 19th century when it was built as a props & costume store. Ingredient led cooking created with respect to nature & produce, sourced from local, artisan suppliers & Scotland’s larder.

Heron is a relaxed fine dining restaurant with views of Edinburgh’s picturesque Water of Leith, offering farm-totable fine dining with an a la carte or tasting menu that changes continuously, showcasing some of Scotland’s best seasonal produce.
