Note from the Executive Director
As we close the chapter on 2024, I am filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners. 2024 was one of both challenges and triumphs, and through it all, our shared commitment to fighting food insecurity has remained steadfast.
In 2024, we saw an increased demand for our services, with more families than ever relying on our pantry for essential nourishment. We served an increase of 31% from 2023 to 2024.Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we distributed 620,266 pounds, equaling 522,329 meals. We expanded our programs, strengthened partnerships,
and found innovative ways to serve our community with dignity and compassion.
One of the highlights of this year was moving into our new facility. This initiative exemplifies the power of collaboration and the impact we can have when we come together for a common cause.
None of this would be possible without you our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and passionate advocates. Your contributions, whether through time, financial support, or advocacy, have made a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
As we step into 2025, we remain committed to our mission and look forward to

New Facility!
In August 2024, we officially moved into our new facility at 21 Perkins Road. Our new location is more visible with a safer parking area and expanded storage and food pantry capacity.
One of the main features of the facility is a spacious and welcoming dining and waiting area. Now the neighbors we serve have a place to fellowship, to enjoy their Sunday meals, and to wait before shopping in our new spacious food pantry.
We also expanded our hours of operation. On Thursdays, the food pantry is now open until 6:30pm.

Share the Table’s Mission
Our mission is to respond to God’s call to nourish our community by providing food where there is hunger, fellowship where there is loneliness, and education to end the cycle of food insecurity.
Share the Table’s Vision
A community where everyone has access to sufficient and nutritious food and a world that is educated, aware and responsive to hunger related issues.
Healthy Choice Program
Recognizing the importance of nutritious food options for everyone to have access to, Share the Table is focused on providing healthier choices for all our neighbors.
We are collaborating with the Greater Topsail Community Garden, which provided us with fresh produce throughout 2024. We also purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, and healthy dairy items to supplement the garden donations.
The cost of food is rising for everyone and that includes Share the Table. We have been blessed with grant funding as well as financial donations from individuals, businesses, and community organizations. These funds help us purchase the more nutritious food that our neighbors need for healthier lives.

We need your continued help to ensure we’re able to provide the fresh produce and healthy dairy items our neighbors need and enjoy.
