FREE ACTIVITIES FOR SALFORD PEOPLE

Want to get out more, meet people, learn a new skill or improve your health and wellbeing? There’s lots of free services for Salford people from learning bushcraft skills to days out, Zumba and IT groups.

Social adVentures run a number of free projects at The Angel Centre M3, Garden Needs M7 and Wardley Hall M28.

At Garden Needs we run a drop in for anyone that want to improve their mental health and wellbeing by getting into the routine of going out and getting involved in a project. Often people are nervous at first, but it’s a large and calming open space with lots of room to find your feet whether it is doing a bit of quiet gardening on your own or starting out working in a small group. We offer a drop in on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 10.30am until 3pm - lunch is included free.

We also offer a similar service at the Wardley Hall garden near Swinton – here we do both gardening and conservation.

At The Angel Centre, off Chapel Street near Salford Cathedral we offer a variety of support including art, cookery classes, IT clubs, friendship groups, counselling, Zumba, karate, volunteering and more!

All of these services are FREE for Salford residents!
