Competition WIN A MEAL FOR TWO! Award winning restaurant comes to Walkden and offers you the chance to win a free 2 course meal for 2 people. Grenache Restaurant is the only restaurant in Salford to have been awarded an entry into The Good Food Guide. Grenache, situated on Bridgewater Road, Walkden, first opened its doors in September 2008 and sources fresh, local produce. It boasts a comfortable bar area upstairs where you can relax before or after dinner and seats up to 34 diners on the ground floor, who are treated to what can only be described as a decadent dining experience. The restaurant serves modern British food to the highest possible standards and has been awarded not only their entry into The Good Food Guide, but 4/5 from City Life (MEN Group), 16/20 from The Bolton News and 16/20 from Manchester Confidential. There are menus to suit all tastes and pocket sizes starting from £9.95 for 2 courses on a Sunday and £13.95 for 2 courses Wednesday - Saturday. If you prefer, you also have the option of their a la carte menu with starters ranging between £4.50 £8.25 and main courses at £9.95 - £21.95. Menus are changed twice weekly, which ensures all ingredients are fresh and not frozen or held over. This also ensures that customers never get fed up, as there is always something new to discover! There is also a monthly wine and food tasting club, held on the third Wednesday in each month, where you can sample 8 wines matched with 4 courses of mouth-watering food.
