Admiral Holloway Wrestling Tournament Returns to SJS
After a one-year hiatus, Saint James was thrilled to once again host the annual Admiral Holloway '39 Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, December 4. The event returned in full force with a field of 13 teams from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC, who all agreed to rigorous COVID protocols in order to compete. With last year's wrestling season canceled, this was the first time the Saints were on the mat in two years, and there was no better way to reintroduce our athletes to Saints wrestling than the Holloway Tournament.

“So many of our students— wrestlers and non-
2021 wrestlers alike—view the Holloway Tournament as one of their favorite events of the year. The noise, the excitement, the highs and lows of the sport wrestling; the humility and courage on full display are all so 'Saint James,'” said Coach Steve Lachut. "As a coach, it is a great way to open our season and help our athletes develop experience and confidence for the long season to come. It is really an event that helps build the culture of wrestling at Saint James.” Congratulations to three Saints who placed in their weight classes: Moses Warui '24, Asa Hammer '22, and Colin Greene '22.
