Who requires a UAE visa?

Visa on arrival is available free of charge for the citizens of the following countries:

CATEGORIES OF UAE VISA

Depending on theirpurpose and length of stay, tourists tothe UAE can select between threedifferenttypesof 90 days Abu-Dhabi tourist single and Multiple entry tourist visas. 

IfyouarevisitingamemberofyourimmediatefamilywholivesintheUAE,you mustgetavisitvisa(sponsor).ThefamilymembermustearnatleastAED4,000 or AED 3,000 plus housing. It should be the sponsor who submits your application. 

Ifyouaretravellingaloneorarevisitingadistantrelativeorfriend,youmustget atouristvisa.Althoughamultiple entryvisaisalsooffered,thestandardsingle entryvisaallowsyoutostayforupto30days. It would be quicker and simpler if someone you know who lives in the UAE appliedonyourbehalf.However,if you don't haveanycontacts, you canobtain an Abu Dhabi visa agency.(Moredetailsareprovidedbelow.) 

Ifyou'revisitingtheUAEforatleast8hoursbutnomorethan4days,you'llneed atransitvisa(includingthearrivalanddeparturedays).Thiscanalsobeplanned in advance. Within 14 days of the date of issuance, this Abu Dhabi visa agent maybeutilised.

UAE VISA CONDITIONS

The following papers must be submitted when apply different types of Abu Dhabi visas.Thesearethefundamentalprerequisites. Yoursponsormightincludemore. Forinstance, theywouldrequesttravelticketsfrom EtihadAirwaysifyoubookyourvisathroughthem.Ifyoumakeareservationthrougha hotel,theymayneedyoutobookaroomthereaswell. Anyway, the following paperwork is needed to apply for a UAE (Dubai) visa: 

A clear scan of a passport (the bio page and the last page) must be valid for at leastsixmonths. 

Scannedpassport sizeimageincolour.4.3x5.5cm.abackgroundofwhite.Your facemustbevisibleonatleast80%ofthescreen. 

Filled out the application form. Typically, the sponsor (travel company, host) is theonewhoaccomplishesthis. 

A get Abu Dhabi visa online charge.

AcopyoftheirEmiratesIDandresidentvisawillalsoberequirediftheyaresponsored bysomeoneintheUAE(residentcard).

Youmustalsosubmitacopyoftheminor'sbirthcertificateifyou'reaparenttravelling withaminor(18yearsoldorunder).

Ahotelreservationandonwardaircraftticketaretypicallyrequiredwhenapplyingfor atransitvisa.
