CAMPGROUND POLICIES

Please read carefully. By staying with us you agree to these policies.

By entering Woodstream Campsite or making a reservation, you agree to comply with the following policies. Please read carefully and ask at the camp store with any questions.

ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION

All campers and visitors must register at the office, provide driver’s license and vehicle plate numbers, and display a vehicle tag at all times.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Check-in is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is 12:00 p.m for RV sites/Tents and 11 a.m for Cabins. Early arrival or late departure requires office approval and is charged at $5 per hour. Stay extensions must be requested by 10:00 a.m.

RESERVATIONS

A two-night minimum is required on weekends. A three- to four-night minimum is required on holiday weekends. Holiday reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. All reservations are non-transferable. Date changes may be permitted within the same calendar year, subject to availability. You must be 21 years or older to reserve or camp.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS

A 100% deposit is charged at booking. Any remaining balance will be charged three weeks prior to arrival. Campsite cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check-in receive a refund minus a $25 fee; cancellations 13 days or less forfeit the deposit. Cabin cancellations made 30 days or more prior to check-in receive a refund minus a $50 fee; cancellations 29 days or less forfeit the deposit. No refunds are issued due to weather.

VISITORS & VEHICLES

Visitor hours are 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. All visitors and vehicles must register and display a pass. Unregistered visitors may be removed and considered trespassers. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors. Visitors may not bring pets.

OCCUPANCY

Campsites allow a maximum of six people, one vehicle, and two pets. Additional guests require visitor fees. Cabins may be occupied by one family consisting of two adults and two children under 18, or four adults. One vehicle is permitted per cabin.

CLEANING & DAMAGE

Campsites left excessively dirty may incur a $50 cleaning fee. Smoking in cabins results in a $200 cleaning fee. Unauthorized pets in cabins result in a $250 cleaning fee. Damage or theft will be billed at repair or replacement cost. A $200 refundable security deposit will be charged at check-in for extra cleaning and damage. For guests with service animals, the refundable security deposit for extra cleaning and damage will be $1,000.

QUIET HOURS & CONDUCT

Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Children under 18 must be at their site by quiet hours unless accompanied by an adult. Security may remove guests for violations without refund. Firearms, fireworks, illegal drugs, disruptive behavior, loud music, vandalism, tree damage, uncontrolled fires, and smoking in restrooms are prohibited at all times.

CAMPFIRES

Fires are permitted only in campground fire rings or grills. Outside firewood is not permitted. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished with water.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

A maximum of two pets is permitted per campsite. Pets

must be leashed (6-foot leash) at all times, supervised by someone age 13 or older, and may not be left unattended (including locked inside your camper or car). A rabies vaccination certificate is required on file at the office, and vaccination papers must also be kept at your site. Pets are not allowed at the pool, in buildings, or on playgrounds. Dogs are not permitted in the camp store because we serve food. Pets must be cleaned up after, including in the woods; waste must be disposed of using bags at Dog Waste Depot Stations. Violation of this policy is cause for termination of your stay. Service Animals: You must be able to answer two questions: (1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?; and (2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Any person with a pet (including a service animal) will be excluded and removed if: (a) the animal is unruly, aggressive, barking excessively, or creating a direct threat to the health or safety of others, and the handler does not take effective action to stop it; (b) the animal is not housebroken; or (c) its presence would fundamentally alter the nature of the goods, services, or operations.

BICYCLES & VEHICLES

The speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH. Bicycle riding after dark is not permitted, and bikes must be walked on bridges. Helmets are required for riders under age 14 and recommended for all riders. ATVs, mopeds, and go-karts are prohibited. Golf carts are permitted only for approved disabled guests or campground management.

SWIMMING POOL

The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and availability is not guaranteed. There is no lifeguard on duty. Two adults age 18 or older must be present when the pool is in use, with one adult remaining on deck. Children less than 16 years old must, at all times, be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior. Diapers are not permitted; swim pants are required. Diving, running, glass containers, food, alcohol, smoking, radios, and reserving seats while absent are not permitted. Pool rules are strictly enforced and violations may result in cancellation of a seasonal reservation.

TRASH & PROPERTY

All trash must be bagged and placed in dumpsters. Trash is not permitted in fire rings or wooded areas.

ALCOHOL & SMOKING

Alcohol is permitted at your site only. The New York State drinking age is 21. Smoking is not permitted in campground buildings, pavilions, or cabins.

LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

Guests camp at their own risk. Woodstream Campsite is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property due to weather, falling limbs, theft, utility outages, or the actions of third parties.

INTERNET

Wireless internet may be available, but bandwidth and uptime are not guaranteed.

SEVERE WEATHER

Guests must follow staff instructions during severe weather or emergency situations.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

Photography or video may occur on campground property for marketing, promotional, security, or operational purposes. Guests are responsible for informing members of their party and visitors. Written opt-out is available at the office.
