To make Wilmington RV Campground a fun and safe place for you and your fellow members, there are a few rules for courteous camping which we have summarized below. Please refer to Member Rules for a complete and detailed set of the rules.
• Speed Limit: 5 MPH
• Campsite Check-in & Check-out Time: 12 NOON
• A two-hour early check-in and/or two-hour late check-out for your reservation may be available, each for an additional fee. If interested in either option, contact the management office in advance of your arrival to inquire about availability. Early check-in/late check-out not available at all locations.
• Vehicles: Only 2 vehicles per site. Other vehicle may be parked in the front parking lot. A fee will be charged for extra cars entering the park and the extra cars must be parked in bath houses area.
• Boats/Water Craft: No boats or water craft allowed on sites.
• Lake Rules: Catch and release fishing, no swimming.
• Unattended RV: Membership rules do not allow for transient RV to be left unattended on site overnight.
• Bicycles: State law requires bicycle riders 17 and younger to wear protective helmets. For safety reasons bicycle riding is not permitted after dark.
• Supervision on Children: Children under 18 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult (18 years or older) and may not be left alone in the campground
• Mini-Bikes, Mopeds, ATV’s and Scooters are prohibited (unless mobility designated).
• Site Location: Sites will be assigned at the time of reservation.
• Walking Through Sites: Please do not walk through occupied sites. An occupied site is another campers “Home”.
• Visitors: Please inform Office when you are expecting visitors. All visitors should register with the Office.
• Electric Cords and Other Cords: Are not to be run across the roadways.
• Clotheslines: Are not permitted.
• Lights: Lights are not allowed to be in or attached to trees.
• Quiet Hours: 11 pm to 8 am. All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent during these hours. Keep in mind that even during non-quiet hours, sound carries throughout the campground.
• Smoking: No smoking in public buildings, and restrooms.
• Golf Carts: Electric golf carts are permitted but must be registered with the campground office. Copy of insurance and drivers license must be given to the office. All golf cart drivers must have a valid drivers license. An annual sticker is $25 and good at all Thousand Trails parks.
• Recreation and Pool: Observe all swimming and recreation equipment rules. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - MEMBERS SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK.
• Trash: Please don’t litter. There are trash containers located around the campground. Please take your trash to the nearest location. DO NOT leave trash outside your Site, or RV.
• Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages must be covered or concealed at all times. NO glass bottles or alcohol permitted at the pool or lake/beach.
• Campfires: All campfires must be attended by an adult and must be extinguished if you are leaving your site.
• Citation/Violations: Are for your protection, ensuring that all campers are following the rules. Citations can be paid at the office.
• Site Clean-up: Campers who do not clean up their site will be subject to a clean up fee.
