• CAMPGROUND ETIQUETTE: Please do not cut through other campsites, whether they are empty or occupied. Use the designated paths to the bathhouse or the road. Please be considerate of your neighbors. This is their space. Please respect their privacy.
• Your neighbors should be quiet from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am so you can get some shut-eye. During quiet hours, refrain from using radios or talking loudly.
• All leashes must be accompanied by a DOG! We’re fond of your pets and we hate to see them lost or hurt. Other folks will appreciate your efforts to clean up after them. If you love them, don’t leave them alone. We can refer you to doggie boarding. Please refer to the map on pgs 4 & 5 for the designated Dog Walk. Please, no pets in the buildings.
• Keep a tight rein on that buggy of yours: CRAWL, THANK YOU! 10 mph. There are children galavantin’ about. We don’t want to ask you to slow down.
• Check-out time is 11:00 am.
• Grey water doesn’t help our trees and grass to grow, so please use our FREE Dump Station.
• Remember, it can rain here! We have miles of buried irrigation lines. Parking on grass is destructive. Please park in designated areas. Carpets and mats kill our struggling green grass. Please let it grow with pride.
• Enjoy a moonlit campfire in the designated fire grills! Firewood and S’mores supplies are available in the KOA Store. (Don’t be shy about sharing your goodies with the yellow-shirted staff.) Douse your campfire when not in use.
• Fireworks are illegal in the Campground and anywhere in the Black Hills.
• Electric Vehicles: WARNING - DO NOT use for Electric Vehicle charging. Learn more by scanning the QR Code at right.
• All kids under 12, take an adult to the Pool/ Hot Tub with you, please. Hours posted at Pool entrance.
• Area attraction information is available in the laundries.
• Thank you for keeping the West clean by kindly leaving your garbage in the big Dumpsters located throughout the campground, since garbage on the ground and in the fire rings gives our wildlife a reason to party, especially at night. Also, help keep the campground litter-free and safe by properly disposing of your cigarette butts.
• It is best practice to put your awnings in if you are going to be off the campground. We can get strong wind gusts.
• Tents are allowed on tent sites only. We want to keep cabin and RV site lawns as lush as we can for you.
• Laundry Room sinks are reserved for washing hands and rinsing laundry. Wash dishes at your campsite or in the service sinks located at the rear of the satellite restroom buildings.
• No Generators, please!
• We’d be happy to direct you to car/RV washes where they recycle their water. Your mode of transportation worked hard getting you to the Black Hills. Treat it with a bath/shower located off the Campground.
• Our young trees are striving to grow. Clotheslines, ropes and other supports attached to trees can create a hazard and are unsightly. Your neighbors may want to enjoy the view! Respect the rights of other campers. Please protect the grounds, trees and landscaping.
We’ve all seen litter scattered alongside a roadway. Do you know how long it will take to decompose to non-recognizable form?
