RULES & REGULATIONS

Our friendly staff would like to extend to each of you a cordial welcome to Mt. Pleasant/Charleston KOA. It is our desire that your stay be filled with delightful memories of the Mt. Pleasant/Charleston KOA. If we may be of further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to ask.

ISLE OF PALMS BEACH: At end of KOA Driveway, turn left onto Highway 17, turn left at 7th stop light onto the Isle of Palms Connector (517).

DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON: (10 Miles) At end of KOA driveway, turn left onto Highway 17, take second exit after crossing Ravenel Bridge onto Meeting St. This will take you to the Visitor’s Center.

PATRIOT’S POINT: (8 Miles) At end of KOA driveway, turn left onto Highway 17, turn left at McGrath Darby Blvd. and follow straight into Patriot’s Point.

GENTLE REMINDERS:

THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE AND 2 VEHICLES ALLOWED PER SITE. THIS INCLUDES GUESTS. ALL GUESTS MUST STOP BY THE OFFICE AND REGISTER THEMSELVES AND THEIR VEHICLES, OBTAIN A CAR TAG AND PAY A VISITOR’S FEE. ANY UNREGISTERED PERSON ON THE CAMPGROUND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

Only one (1) camping unit per site. Tents are not allowed on sites with cabins or RVs.

ALL vehicles MUST have a KOA car tag prominently displayed while on the campground.

NO Motorized Scooters allowed on the grounds. No motorized vehicles on the trails.

ALL golf carts must be registered at the office, obtain a car tag, and be operated only by a licensed driver.

DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED. Pets must be kept on a 6’ or shorter leash, and under control at all times. Do not let your pet bark incessantly or annoy your fellow campers. Pick up after your pet immediately. Breed Restriction: No Pit Bulls, Pit Bull mixes, American Bulldogs, American Bulldog mixes, Staffordshire Terriers or mixes.

QUIET TIME HOURS: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

All children must be on their sites during quiet time hours unless accompanied by an adult. Playground closes at dusk.

NO fireworks.

SPEED LIMIT: Campground SPEED LIMIT is a MAXIMUM OF 10 MPH at all times. Be aware of children playing and riding bikes.

TRASH PICK-UP Trash is picked up throughout the day. Please leave your bagged trash at the end of your site. Please do not leave trash out overnight.

FIREWOOD: $10.00/bundle, we will deliver to your site.

ICE: 8 lb. bag - $2.

PROPANE: Pumped during daylight hours.

FISHING is catch and release only. Electric motors only. No fishing or boating in the canal.

BOAT RENTALS: Canoe, Kayak, Pedal Boats are $10/HR. Aqua Cycles are $25/HR.

BIKE RENTALS: All bikes $10/HR.

NEED ASSISTANCE? LOOK FOR A YELLOW SHIRT! Anyone you see on the grounds wearing a yellow shirt with the KOA logo is here to serve you and MORE than happy to help!

In order to maintain a welcoming environment for all guests and employees, we ask that no one on the property display any racially-charged or political flags, banners or signs.

We ask that you do not drive stakes, flag poles or signs into the ground due to the chance of hitting a fiber optic cable.

No bike riding after dark.

Please do not move the fire pits.
