The following is a brief summary of Resort Rules & Regulations and are in place for the safety/benefit of our camping guests, their families/visitors as well as staff members. Failure to comply with Resort Rules & Regulations may be grounds for cancellation of any remaining nights without refund. All rules & Regulations are subject to change at any time without notice.

VEHICLE CRITERIA (scan code for complete list)

We accept class A, B & C motorhomes, travel trailers, pop-up tent trailers & 5th wheels. We do not allow converted school/transit buses, vans or utility trailers converted for camping unless such conversion has proof of compliance using RVIA, ANSII & related safety codes. All other types are prohibited. ALL RVS MUST BE SELF-CONTAINED & have an airtight 3” sewer hose connection. RVs must have a clean appearance, no leaks & no body damage or rust. RV guest must have a readily available vehicle on-site equipped to transport the RV at any given time (excluding rentals). Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the park.

HOSPITALITY RANGERS

Are available to assist you 24/7. If you need assistance, please feel free to stop a Hospitality Ranger or call 858-203-5600. Hospitality Rangers represent the Resort Management and are vested with the legal right and authority to enforce the Rules and Regulations on behalf of Owner and Resort Management. MISSION BAY RV RESORT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR PROPERTY! THE RESORT IS NOT A SECURE FACILITY. THE HOSPITALITY RANGERS ARE NOT THE POLICE. SECURE YOUR VALUABLES (INCLUDING BICYCLES) AT ALL TIMES. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, CALL 911, AND THEN REPORT THE EMERGENCY TO A HOSPITALITY RANGER.

Is based on availability during our Winter Season ONLY for an additional fee. Request for late checkout must be made by 10 am on day of departure.

CAMPSITE OCCUPANCY

Maximum of 6 guests allowed per site. (1) One RV & (1) one passenger vehicle per site. Additional guests (2 max) may be added for a fee. NO outdoor sleeping or sleeping in passenger vehicles. SOUTH SECTION SITES ARE BACK-IN ONLY. Please do not block, occupy, or encroach upon sites you have not rented. Subleasing, renting out/offering sites on Airbnb type websites is strictly prohibited. ADDITIONAL PARKING - (see front desk for details/cost)

Additional vehicle parking (if available) is located inside the Resort in designated areas & outside near Front Office building. Office. NO Resort Guest Parking is permitted in the Public Parking lot outside the resort near the beach. Subject to tow by local Traffic Enforcement. CAMPFIRES ON CAMPSITES

Fire pits must be self-contained & 6” off the ground (flames must not exceed 12 inches). Never leave fires unattended. All hot coals/ashes must be disposed of properly in the provided bins near restrooms.

QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. All persons under the age of 18 must return to their designated campsite by 10pm. NO GENERATORS are to be used at any time.

CONDUCT & SAFETY- scan QR for complete policies

Campers are solely responsible for the behavior, actions & safety of their children & visitors to their campsite. All guests & visitors must abide by the rules & regulations given at check-in & published on our website MissionBayRVResort.com as well as any posted signs throughout the park. Failure to abide by or causing harm to another guest/ visitor or engaging in any behavior that is deemed potentially dangerous, rude, offensive, or hostile to others (including staff) can result in removal & ban from the park.

DOMESTIC PETS- scan QR for complete Pet Policies

The maximum number of pets per campsite: Three (3) for Daily/Weekly Camper. 2 pets maximum for Extended Stays 31 days or more. Pit Bulls, (including similar bully breeds such as Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Wolf Hybrids, Mastiffs & other aggressive breeds are expressly prohibited. Pets must remain on a leash not to exceed 6 feet & must not be left unattended outside RV. Please clean up after your pet. If your dog/cat causes a disturbance (including but not limited to excessive barking), the pet’s right to remain at the resort will be terminated.

PUBLIC BEACH AREA – San Diego City Ordinance No alcohol, glass containers, smoking, littering, disturbing noise, fires in non-designated fire pits or motorized vehicles allowed on beach. No overnight sleeping or camping. NO DOGS: Nov 1 – March 31, 9am – 4pm & April 1 – Oct 31, 9am -6pm. NO PERSONAL BELONGINGS are to be left on the beach after sunset or left unattended at any time.

WASHING OF VEHICLES & BOATS

Washing & mechanical maintenance of RVs, boats or vehicles is not permitted in the Resort except by Resort approved vendors.

ALL WHEELED VEHICLES

THE SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH. Electric golf carts are only to be driven by licensed persons 16 years or older. Electric or pedal powered bikes, Razor scooters, skateboards & rollerblades may be ridden on asphalt roads ONLY. Helmets are strongly recommended for ages 16 & under. All after sunset/ nighttime riding or skating requires a forward projecting light. GAS POWERED GOLF CARTS, SKATEBOARDS, MOPEDS, ATVs, SCOOTERS OR ANY OTHER GAS-POWERED ITEMS OF THIS NATURE ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK. Street legal motorcycles & scooters/mopeds are allowed with a valid driver’s license. No drones are allowed on property.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

Please use laundry etiquette when using facilities. Please do not leave laundry unattended.

FIREARMS/WEAPONS & FIREWORKS

No weapons or fireworks of any kind are permitted on the grounds (including BB guns, sling shots, knives, or any other device or item that can be perceived or used as a weapon).

PACKAGES/MAIL

Mission Bay RV Resort does not accept regular US Mail for guests. Amazon, UPS & FedEx will deliver to your site. Please provide sender your Site number & the last name of registered guest when giving them our address.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE

Wildlife is protected in the Mission Bay area. It is a felony to harm, harass or disturb wildlife. Failure to abide by the law could result in a $20,000 fine &/or imprisonment (PC Code, 597).

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 799.20, et seq., a recreational vehicle may be removed from the premises without judicial hearing, after the service of a 72-hour notice, if the occupant has been in the park for 30 days or less for any of the following reasons:

• Failed to pay for his/her occupancy in the park;

• Failed to comply with the park’s rules & regulations, (Pursuant to CA Civil Code Sections 799.20 et. Seq.);

• Failure to vacate on specified date (Pursuant to CA Civil Code Section 1866)

The management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone & will not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. This policy is subject to change at any time. Traffic Law Enforcement Agency: 619.531.2000

PLEASE HELP KEEP OUR BAY CLEAN & HEALTHY- IF YOU HAVE A SEWER SPILL, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN IT YOURSELF. PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY AT 858.270.4300 BEFORE 5PM OR 858.203.5600 AFTER 5PM.

Trained staff members will come to your site to properly clean the spill in the approved manner. There will be a minimum $50 clean up fee for sewer spills caused by a camper.
