RULES & REGULATIONS
Welcome to Mill Creek Ranch Resort in Canton, Texas.
We are extremely pleased to have you staying at our 200-acre resort. Below are the resort guidelines and policies for everyone’s safety. Please enjoy your stay and if you need anything during your stay, or after, please do not hesitate to call us at 903-567-6020.

OBSERVE OUR 10 mph SPEED LIMIT
All guests must understand and agree to abide by MCRR rules and regulations upon check-in and during entire stay. MCRR won’t tolerate offensive activity of any sort that could interrupt and/or adversely affect the enjoyment of other parties utilizing the resort. In the event of such burden, obnoxious or offensive activity, in the judgement of MCRR management, the parties for such activities will be required to leave the resort immediately, without refund.
The registered guest must pre-register any expected guests/visitors whether for the day or overnight. All day use guests/visitors are subject to a $5 per person, per day resort fee. No guests/visitors may camp or sleep outside in their car.

RV Lodge & Store Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Daily.
Children must be supervised by a Parent/Guardian at all times while on the resort grounds. Parent/Guardians are responsible for their children’s actions, behavior, and any damage caused by their children.
Rates, seasons, holidays, rules, and policies are subject to change without notice.
SAFETY
Guests are not allowed to give out the gate code to non-staying guest/visitors. Use of glass bottles and containers is discouraged throughout the resort. Fires are allowed in all approved above ground fire pits only. Fires are subject to drought restrictions as directed by the local fire departments and Van Zandt County Officials.

RESORT QUIET TIME
Quiet time: 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
PARKING: DO NOT cut through RV sites. Please use designated roads only. Guests and extra vehicles have parking available in our overflow parking area. Lots are located at the Grand Lodge, front resort entrance, and west side by the pavilion.
All Golf Carts must be parked by 11:00 p.m. Golf carts must follow all traffic signs and the 10 mph speed limit. Golf carts may only drive on roadways or the designated cart path. No driving on grass, levees, or walkways. By Texas State Law, NO ALCOHOLIC beverages may be consumed while on a golf cart. Carts may not leave MCRR property at any time.
Guest(s) may bring personal Electric or Gas Powered Golf Carts. All rules and regulations apply to personal carts as well. The following recreational vehicles are NOT allowed on resort property: Dirt bikes, mini bikes, go-karts, 3 or 4 wheelers and side-by-sides.
**Golf carts rented from Mill Creek Ranch Resort being operated in violation of resort rules and regulations are subject to seizure without refund. Operating personal golf carts in violation of resort rules and regulations are subject to eviction of the entire party, with NO monies being refunded. **
No music is allowed after quiet time **Scheduled events by MCRR are permitted past 11:00 p.m.**
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT TIMES
RV check-in time is 1:00 p.m.; check-out is 12:00 p.m. $20 fee for late check out till 2:00 p.m.
Cottage Check-In time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Late check-out charge of $20 until 1:00 p.m. and $40 until 2:00 p.m. After 2:00 p.m., it is considered a full day charge. (When Available)
CANCELLATIONS & EARLY DEPARTURES
Reservations for specific RV sites, Cottages/Yurts/Tiny Home etc., are never guaranteed. Monthly RV reservations require a credit card deposit of $100.00 on the date the monthly reservation is made. This deposit is only refundable up to (30) days prior to the check in date.
RV/Cottage Reservations require a credit card deposit for the first night of every reservation. All cancellations prior to 14 days of the arrival date can receive a full refund of the deposit. Reservations not cancelled within 14 dates will forfeit their deposit and may be liable for any cancellation fees. No-show reservations will be charged in the full amount of the reservation. Early departure for any reservation, for any reason will not be eligible for refunds. There are no cancellation refunds under any circumstance (to include bad weather) if cancellation guidelines are not met. No Sub-Leasing.
Swimming Areas: NO LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY AT THE RESORT POOLS (2) or the swimming hole. All children under the age of 16 MUST be supervised by an adult. No running, diving and/or climbing on water features. Toddlers must wear swim diapers in the pool. No pets are allowed in the pool area.
Hours for each pool are as follows: RV Lodge 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Grand Lodge Pool & Hot Tub 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Adult Swim 10:00 p.m. – Midnight.
Swimming Hole 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
In the event of fecal contamination in the water, the pool will be closed for a period of 24 hours for cleaning and servicing. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Ponds: No swimming in ponds with the exception of the Swimming Hole. Please note that fishing is catch & release only. The Swimming Hole is open 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 .p.m.
PETS: All pets must be on a leash at all times, unless they are in the dog park. Any pet outside must be watched by owner and not left outside unattended. NO aggressive or barking dogs will be allowed. All guests must clean up after their pets. Pets are not permitted in buildings, playground, or pool areas.
Pets must be indoors by 11:00 p.m. and barking dogs indoors immediately. Guest will be fully responsible for loss or damage incurred by pet. Pets are only allowed in pet friendly cottages and non-refundable pet fee, $15 per pet, per night, must be paid in advance.
MCRR MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR PET ACCIDENTS, INJURIES OR LOSS FROM ANY CAUSE.
NO Smoking policy in commons areas. Please dispose of cigarettes in designated containers. NO smoking in cottages, buildings or structures. The burning of sage, incense, or herbs of any kind is not permitted.
Tents: Tents are not allowed at MCRR. Small portable flag poles, personal signage, solar lighting or awning stakes are allowed. For your safety, the location must be approved by MCRR maintenance or management staff.
WILDLIFE: We share our beautiful outdoors with East Texas wildlife. Please be cautious around ponds and walking trails. The catching and trapping of wildlife is not permitted. For guest safety, do not try to feed wildlife.
Trash: For all guests, trash shall be placed in a bag and securely tied. RV Guests: Trash shall be placed at the end of site pad no earlier than 10:00 a.m. daily for MCRR staff to pick up. Cottage Guests: Place trash at the end of drive by the cart pad for pick up. All guests may utilize the dumpsters located at the resort if desired. Please do not allow trash to be left out overnight.
NATURAL SURROUNDINGS
MCRR strives to maintain the natural beauty of the resort as well as the created paths and trails. Owners & guests must park their motor vehicles in designated parking areas. MCRR will provide concierge service to shuttle all owners and guests to and from the parking lot/cottage. MCRR offers a serene environment in which guests can relax and get away from busy activities of daily life.
In order to preserve the beauty of this resort, owners and guests may not cut the natural vegetation or in any way destroy the beauty of the resort. Any intentional damage or defacement to MCRR property shall be cause for cancellation of ownership and/or reservation and the pursuit of legal action.
CONSUMPTION of ALCOHOL on the RESORT PREMISES
Mill Creek Ranch Resort (MCRR) is T.A.B.C licensed, therefore must adhere to all Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission rules.
Please understand –
• Excessive use of alcohol will not be tolerated.
• Underage drinking, or drug use will be reported to the police, and offenders will be banned from the resort.
• It is illegal in the State of Texas to drive a golf cart or motorized vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• MCRR reserves the right to remove guest/visitors from MCRR property without refund.
LOST and FOUND
There will be a $15 administrative fee plus the cost of priority postage to mail your items to your home.
