Jojoba Hills was conceived, planned and built by Escapees volunteers who had a dream of creating a home base for their RV adventures. Located in the coastal high desert of Southern California, we are 12 to 18 miles east of Temecula’s wineries, Historic Old Town, antique stores, gift shops and hot air balloon or glider rides. We are 90 minutes to San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County and 60 minutes to Palm Springs.
As a member-driven mutual benefit corporation, Jojoba Hills Corporate Board of Directors is composed entirely of members of the Resort; members also compose Board Committees that support board-directed functions. Members also compose the Hilltoppers Board along with 50+ Hilltoppers Committees that drive the many social, creative and recreational parts of community life at Jojoba Hills.

The Resort is a non-profit, 55+, volunteer co-op Escapees Resort. Membership in the co-op entitles the member use of a specific site. No more than two people on a membership — one of whom must be at least 55; the other must be at least 45. Children may visit with adult supervision for up to two weeks.
Storage for an additional RV may be available for members as space allows.
The Resort consists of 148 acres of rolling terrain, terraced for spectacular views from its 283 sites. Situated at an average of 2,000 ft. elevation, we enjoy a Mediterranean climate with cool evenings, low humidity in the summer and mild winters. Land surrounding the Resort is a wildlife conservation area covered with coastal desert vegetation.
