SPEED LIMIT: 5 mph - Watch for children.
MEMBERS & GUESTS: All members and guests must register at guard station or reservation office and display car tag. If you are expecting a guest or service contractor you must first call patrol to create a pass in advance — 757-407-1191.
QUIET TIME: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Persons under the age of 18 MUST BE ON THEIR SITE DURING THIS TIME.
OFFICE & GENERAL STORE: Hours are posted outside the door.
PETS must be leashed and kept quiet. Pets are not permitted inside any buildings. Pet pens must be approved. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER PETS. DO NOT WALK PETS ON OTHER CAMPSITES. DRONES of any kind are NOT permitted within the Resort or on the water.
POOL RULES:
1. Lifeguard may not be on duty.
2. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or a person 18 years or older.
3. No glass of any kind allowed in pool area.
4. No food or drinks within 10 feet of pool.
5. Weather permitting, pool is open Memorial Day weekend through September 30th.
6. Additional pool rules are posted on the pool fence.
TRASH: Place in plastic bags and deposit in trash cans located throughout the Resort. ONLY HOUSEHOLD TRASH ALLOWED.
FIRES: Fire pits must be used for campfires. CAMPFIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED WHEN NOT ATTENDED. No fires on the ground. No charcoal put on the ground.
VEHICLE WASHING: Campers and cars may be washed during off season, Tuesday & Wednesday only (prior to Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day weekend). A permit must be obtained from the store at a cost of $10
for camper, $5 for cars. NOTE: Indian Cove employees are not permitted to wash members’ or guests’ vehicles.
CLOTHESLINES are not permitted unless attached to RV.
OUTSIDE CARPETS must be “Breathable” so as not to harm grass below.
BE COURTEOUS - DO NOT CUT THROUGH OTHER CAMPSITES.
ELECTRICITY ALERT: Your site has 20, 30 and 50 amp service. Do not use any type of plug adapter. Please routinely inspect your electrical plug and cable for correct operation. CAUTION: Standard outlet is only a 15 amp ground fault breaker - DO NOT OVERLOAD. PLEASE TURN OFF BREAKERS AT PEDESTAL WHENEVER LEAVING YOUR SITE.
VEHICLES: Only one camping unit and 2 additional vehicles are allowed per site and 1 golf cart. No vehicles may be left on the grounds unless member is on-site with a reservation. Do not park vehicles past cement pad. Do not park on vacant sites. Do not park boat or car trailers in store parking lot. All cars must have a hang tag while on site.
GOLF CARTS: Electric Carts Only (No Gas)
PROPANE: Please pay at the office. Bottles are picked up at your site for refilling.
SEWER FITTINGS: THREADED SEWER FITTINGS ARE REQUIRED.
CANALS: All persons using the canals shall obey the published Coast Guard Regulations and shall obey the “NO WAKE” rules while operating a boat within the Resort. NO SWIMMING IN CANALS.
WEAPONS: No firearms may be discharged on Indian Cove property (slingshot, bow & arrow, firearms, etc.).
FISHING: A Virginia State Fishing License is required for those over 16 years of age unless you are fishing off the bank of Indian Cove property. NO FIREWORKS are permitted at any time, and will be cause for immediate expulsion; this includes poppers & sparklers.
SPECIAL NOTICE
A 5 FOOT FLAG MUST BE USED ON ELECTRIC SCOOTERS. KIDS 8 & UNDER MUST WEAR HELMETS (AVAILABLE AT OFFICE). BIKE LIGHTS MUST BE USED ON BIKES AT NIGHT, FRONT & REAR, AND ARE AVAILABLE AT STORE FOR PURCHASE.
