IDYLLWILD RV CAMPGROUND INFORMATION

CAMPFIRES: NO WOOD or ground fires. Propane fire pits ONLY. Charcoal briquettes ONLY in picnic grill. Place hot coals in RED ASH CAN.

SPEED LIMIT: 10 mph.

PETS: Keep on a maximum 10-foot leash and out of pool area and buildings. Please clean up after your pet immediately. Please do not leave your tied-up pet outside if you are not home to supervise its behavior.

WORSHIP: See Bulletin Board at lodge for local worship services. Non-denominational service at Amphitheatre (seasonal).

CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for their actions, behavior and safety. Please supervise them.

PRIVACY: Respect the rights and privacy of other campers, please don’t walk or cut through others’ sites. Use roadways and designated trails.

SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, SKATES: Not permitted on hills.

BICYCLES: On roadways only. Please stay off sidewalks, patios, decks and steep hills. Safety helmets must be worn at all times. Observe speed limits.

QUIET HOURS: 11 pm to 8 am. Last check-in for RV and Tent sites 10:00 pm sharp. NO EXCEPTIONS.

SMOKING: Please DO NOT drop your cigarette butts on the ground. Use ashtrays on buildings or pick up a free ashtray at Welcome Center.

Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail - One-way distance = 38 miles; Elevation gain in feet = 4,000 • Strenuous • Forest Service Permit required • Highway 74, one mile east of Highway 371 to Fuller Ridge Trail at Black Mountain Road.

Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail - One-way distance = 2.6 miles • Easy • Dogs on leash OK • Humber Park to Tahquitz View Drive.

Seven Pines Trail - One-way distance = 4 miles; Elevation gain in feet = 2,600 • Moderate • Forest Service or State Park Permit required • Dark Canyon Road off Highway 243 to Deer Springs.

Devil’s Slide Trail - One-way distance = 2.5 miles; Elevation gain in feet = 1,700 • Moderate • Forest Service Permit required • Dogs on leash OK • Humber Park to Saddle Junction.

Deer Springs Trail - One-way distance = 3.3 miles; Elevation gain in feet = 1,700 • Moderate • Forest Service Permit required • Highway 243, one mile north of Idyllwild to Suicide Rock.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway - One-way distance = 1.7 miles; Elevation gain in feet = 700 • Easy • State Park Permit required • Tramway Terminal to Round Valley.
