Guidelines for Happy Camping OFFICE & STORE HOURS: Off Season: 9am-4pm • Peak Season: 9am-6pm • CLOSED New Years Day, Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Times and dates are subject to change and will be posted at the door of office.

CHESNUT BAY RESORT LAKE HOMES Off Season: Check-In: 3pm • Check-Out: 10am Peak Season: Check-In: 4pm • Check-Out: 10am CHESNUT BAY RV RESORT Check-In: 1pm • Check-Out: 12pm NO PARKING ON STREETS OR IN GRASS. Park on driveways or designated parking areas. Vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.

FOR PET FRIENDLY LAKE HOMES AND RV RESORT SITES: No more than 2 pets allowed. No aggressive breeds allowed on the property. No pets on the furniture or beds. When pets are outdoors, they must be on a leash. You must clean up behind your pets. There are waste disposal centers for your convenience. If you brought a pet and did not register them at the time of your booking, you must notify the office immediately! If it’s determined that you brought a pet and did not notify the office, your reservation will be forfeited and no money will be refunded.

NO SMOKING: No smoking in any of the homes or public shared areas on the resort property. Please be respectful of the home owners and resort guests.

Absolutely no throwing cigarette butts on the lawns. If it is determined that you have smoked in a rental home, you will be charged per Chesnut Bay Resort policy.

ARM BANDS: Arm bands are required during PEAK season and are strictly enforced. You must have your arm band on anytime you are on the resort peoperty during Peak Season. We are a lake resort and it can be accessed lake side by non guests. You have paid to be here and we want to ensure that your have places at the pools, beach and all the other amenities. If you are a guest and not wearing your arm band you will be required to put it on. If there is a medical reason that you are unable to wear it, please bring proof to the office and we will make staff aware.

NO GLASS CONTAINERS: All glass must remain in the homes or your RV. This includes wine glasses, beer bottles, and drinking glasses. Safety is of the highest priority at Chesnut Bay Resort, and broken glass will most assuredly find the bottom of a child’s foot.

TRASH PICKUP HOURS: 7am-10am. Place trash at curb-side. Trash should be enclosed and tied in trash bags. If trash is left after designated hours, there will be a late pick up fee charged.

QUIET PLEASE: Quiet time on the Resort is 10pm. We ask that your please refrain from loud noises after 10pm. This does not mean you can’t be out on the Resort after 10pm, we just ask that you be respectful of other guests.

POOL HOURS: 9am-9pm. The pools are a free amenity and are open from 9am9pm in peak season. No external music at pools, but you may use personal headphones. Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision.

BASKETBALL COURTS OPEN UNTIL DARK: The basketball court are a free amenity and are open daily until dark.

GOLF CART RENTALS: Golf carts can be rented at the office. Golf carts must be parked in designated area. No more that 4 adults or 3 adults and 2 children on a golf cart. Resort speed limit is 10mph. No one other than those specified on rental agreement may operate the golf cart. Arms and feet must be it the golf cart at all times.

KAYAKING: One or two person kayaks including life vests are available for free located near the palapas near the lake. Do not take the kayaks after dark. Parents must supervise you children and place everything back in its place.

Management has the right to make, adjust or change these rules as it deems fit to operate the campground in the best interests of all concerned. These rules will be enforced, and management has the right to evict anyone without refund for not obeying these guidelines and other posted campground rules.
