Garden of the Gods RV Resort Rules

We are so happy you have chosen to stay with us and want to make sure your stay is enjoyable. In following the resort’s guidelines, the comfort and well-being of all will be ensured.

RESERVATIONS & CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Site rental payment is due when the reservation is made (before occupancy). Check-in for RV and tent sites is 1:00 pm and for cottages/ suites/studios/bunkhouses 3:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am for all accommodations.

SECURITY PATROL: In the evenings, security patrols the resort. Please be sure to hang your parking pass from the rearview mirror in your car/truck. Visitors must check in with the office upon entering the property so they may be given a visitor’s pass for their vehicle. Passes are only good for that day. If a visitor is staying overnight, there will be an additional charge. If a car does not have a parking pass, it is subject to being towed.

PETS: We love pets and welcome non-aggressive breeds under the following guidelines:

• Pets MUST be registered at the office.

• Must be leashed at ALL times, including at your site, on a leash no longer than 6 feet. The one exception is at the Bark Park. Leaving pets outside and unattended is NEVER permitted.

• PETS CAN NOT BE WALKED BY CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16.

• Must be cleaned up after IMMEDIATELY. It is not the staff’s responsibility.

• No more than two pets per RV.

• Must be kept quiet and inside your RV when unattended.

• Must be non-aggressive and friendly (no snarling, growling, jumping at people).

• Are not allowed in buildings including pool areas, arcade, lodge, and laundry/shower facilities.

• Outdoor pens/kennels are prohibited unless approved by management.

There will be fines given if pets are not on a leash or if they are not cleaned up after:

• 1st offense: $25 • 2nd offense: $50 • 3rd offense: $75

We reserve the right to ask guests to leave without a refund if these rules are not followed.

CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for ALL actions of their children, including financial liability for damage caused to resort facilities and to property of other resort guests. Children may NOT be left unattended at any time. Can not play near the sites entrance or exit of the RV.

PLAYGROUND is open only during daylight hours ONLY and does not have an attendant Parents must be present and assume all risks while their children play.

CAMPFIRES: Fire rings are provided by the resort near the playground, at Base Camp, and at designated tent sites. Removal or destruction is prohibited. Personal self-contained, above ground, and covered fire rings are permitted at all sites. Please check county websites for fire bans.

TENTS are NOT permitted anywhere, including RV sites, except for designated tent sites.

SEWER SEALS are required for ALL sewer hoses connected to the resort’s lines.

GENERAL STORE AND LODGE: Are open 7 days a week. Opening and closing hours vary by season.

RESTROOM, SHOWER AND LAUNDRY FACILITIES are open 24-hours, seven days a week. Laundry left behind, or unattended will be removed. Management is not responsible for property left unattended or damage caused by the machines.

PARKING: One vehicle per site. Anything more than that needs to be parked in overflow parking. Must have a Parking Tag on vehicle and RV. If you park in a way that blocks access or occupies someone else’s designated spot, your vehicle may be towed at your own expense.

SWIMMING POOLS are open seasonally and are available for resort guests only. Only proper bathing suits may be worn in the pools. An adult MUST accompany children under the age of 18 at ALL times as there are no lifeguards on duty.

ATVs AND UNLICENSED VEHICLES may not be ridden in the resort. Personal golf carts may be used with prior management approval.

AUTO REPAIR AND VEHICLE WASHING: No auto repair is permitted unless being performed by a resort approved vendor. Washing is allowed under the following guidelines:

• Hoses/nozzles must be used.

• No running water or over-spray.

• Not allowed during freezing conditions.

SMOKING AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: No smoking or alcohol use is permitted inside or within 25 feet of any building per Colorado State Law. Any guest smoking in a building will be subjected to cleaning fines up to $250. Marijuana use is prohibited and illegal in public space but may be used inside an RV. The use of marijuana outside your RV may be cause for eviction.

SITE INSPECTIONS are conducted daily. We work hard to maintain a beautiful environment for all to enjoy. Please help us keep it that way. Following are rules for outdoor areas at your site:

• Outside water heaters, refrigerators, permanent furniture, messy children’s toys, and indoor carpet are NOT allowed.

• Unsafe, cluttered, or unsightly RV sites will NOT be tolerated.

• NO towels, clothes, or other articles hanging on RVs, vehicles, fences, etc.

• NO tarps or clotheslines.

• Fire laws prohibit the storage of any materials under and around RVs.

• Awnings extended from RVs are permitted.

• Upright propane tanks of 100 gallons or less are allowed at sites October 1 – April 30.

• After 3rd warning you will be asked to leave without refund.

QUIET HOURS are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please consider your neighbors during quiet hours. Noise should not be heard beyond your personal space.

SPEED LIMIT is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced for the safety of everyone. Drive only on designated roads and NEVER through campsites. This includes all vehicles: bikes, inline skates, scooters, motorcycles, golf carts, etc. Use exits and entrances appropriately.

TRASH: A clean resort is in everyone’s best interest. Please dispose of your trash during your stay and when you depart. Dumpsters are conveniently located throughout the park. Do NOT leave any trash/food outside your vehicle, RV, or cottage/suite/studio/bunkhouse unattended. We do have wild animals who come through the park.

DAMAGE: We are not responsible for damage, injury, or loss by accident, theft, or fire to guests or personal property. If you cause damage to the resort property in any way, you will be charged.

MAIL: A drop box for outgoing mail is located in the Office. We recommend that you get a post office box at the local post office for your incoming mail because the post office WILL NOT forward your mail from our address when you leave.

WILDLIFE: Squirrels, deer, foxes, raccoons, and occasional bears or coyotes stroll through the property. Please do NOT approach or feed.

PIKES PEAK COG RAIL

Once a cable car route, it’s now a fitness adventure with unbeatable views at the top. Tough, rewarding, and a must do for thrill seekers.

MANITOU E-BIKE IN GARDEN OF THE GODS PARK

Explore the stunning red rock landscapes of Garden of the Gods on a friendly guided e‑bike tour. Cover between 5–13 miles in around 1½–2½ hours past scenic viewpoints, fun facts, and iconic formations—all without breaking a sweat. Guides provide helmets, maps, bottled water, and show you how to use pedal assist power—perfect for riders of all skill levels.

MANITOU CLIFF DWELLINGS

Explore a unique piece of history at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, a reconstructed Ancestral Puebloan site just outside Colorado Springs. Originally built around 1907 using stones from a genuine cliff village, this hands on preserve lets you wander through rooms, climb ladders, and touch structures that date back centuries.
