We welcome you to our new Colorado KOA campground, located on the Colorado River at I-70 Exit 97, 17 miles west of Glenwood Springs and adjacent to the “old west” town of Silt. Glenwood Springs West/Colorado River KOA is the convenient stopping point on your way east or west, whether you are looking for a comfortable one-night stay or a multi-day adventure basecamp.


GUIDELINES FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY & ENJOYMENT
• Check-out time is 11 AM for all sites.
• Check-in times: Noon for RVs and Tents 3 PM for all cabins
• Speed limit is 5 mph.
• Store hours are 8 AM to 8 PM during our peak season.
• Our water pressure is 70-80 psi. Please use a pressure regulator.
• All visiting guests MUST register at the office and pay all applicable fees.
• Each RV site is allowed ONE vehicle per site. No tents allowed on RV sites (exception: canopy or screen/shade tents without a floor or bottom).
• Each tent site is allowed ONE tent (or two small). Tent pad is 15’ x 15’ (must fit inside border). ONE vehicle per site with a maximum of six people.
• No smoking of any kind is allowed in or within 15 feet of any building or cabin.
• Garbage dumpsters are provided for guests’ use. Never leave any trash outside of any dumpster or any sites. Do not fill our dumpsters with your junk. Disposal of all trash is guest’s responsibility.
• Vehicles parking: No parking on the grass, roadways or blocking other sites. This includes no unloading of equipment onto the grass (i.e. ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes or side-by-sides). No ATV or dirt bikes are allowed on the property.
• NO EV charging allowed on any site.
• Campfires are permitted in designated fire ring/pit.
• No vehicle or RV washing is allowed.
• All RVs are required to be connected with the proper connections. Never place your sewer hose directly into our sewer drops.
• We water our grass most nights during our peak season. Take all items inside that you do not want to get wet.
• Wi-Fi is available for registered guests. No streaming or gaming is allowed.
PET RULES
• Pets must be leashed and picked up after at all times and never left unattended. Pets are not allowed in any buildings unless it is a pet-friendly cabin.
• Keep all pets off other sites regardless if site is unoccupied.
• No bathing of pets in bathhouses. Pet wash located at Dusty Wagon (site map on page 4).
SWIMMING POOL AND HOT TUB RULES
• Hot tub and pool hours: 10 AM to 8 PM during our peak season.
• No glass is allowed in pool area for your safety.
• No food (including snacks, candy and ice cream) is allowed in the pool area.
• All children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 while in the pool.
• Hot tub is for adults 16 and older only. It is not a kiddie pool.
• Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty.
Glenwood Springs West KOA is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. So be careful, and we will too!

RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS
Do not walk through other campsites and keep all items on your site.

GO THE SPEED LIMIT
Observe the speed limit at all times & be aware of people, children and pets while driving.

BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER
Keep your pets leashed and in your control at all times and always pick up a er your dog.


BE MINDFUL OF YOUR NOISE LEVEL
Keep all noise at a decent level at all times.
MIND YOUR CAMPFIRE
Check to be sure that campfires are allowed and never leave them attended.
KEEP A TIDY CAMPSITE
Pick up all food and garbage throughout the day and clean and organize site at end of the night.

QUIET TIME 1OPM TO 7AM
Keep noise level of talking, children and pets low and music off during posted quiet hours.

KEEP ALL FACILITIES CLEAN
Pick up a er yourself and report any spills or broken equipment immediately.
