CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES

1. *PLUGGING IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION IS PROHIBITED. CHARGERS LOCATED AT FRONT OF CAMPGROUND. SEE MAP.

2. NO ENGINE IDLING ALLOWED.

3. THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE CAMPGROUND IS 5 MPH.

4. Check-out time is 11:00 am .

5. All pets must be on a leash at all times. Do not leave your pet unattended at any time. Do not leave pets tied up outside unattended. Pick up after your pet. No pets are allowed in the playground, restrooms, store, laundry room, cabins, pavilion or hot tub. Noisy pets will not be tolerated.

6. Washing of vehicles is prohibited.

7. No use of generators.

8. All guests must register at the office before entering the campground.

9. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am . All children must be on their site after 10:00 pm .

10. BBQs are permitted, however please not on plastic furniture. FIRES MUST BE IN FIRE PIT.

11. No firearms or fireworks are permitted at any time!

12. Recreational Equipment and Uses — All facilities are used at your own risk. There is no lifeguard

on duty at the hot tub. Parents are responsible for the conduct, behavior and control of their children. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and everyone must observe all hot tub rules as posted.

13. Please place all trash in covered containers. We have bears in the area. We lock the dumpsters when the office is closed. Please do NOT place trash on the ground or on top of the dumpster. We both can be fined up to $500 each - This is to comply with Department of Wildlife laws.

14. Restrooms are closed from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for cleaning.

15. The laundry is open 24 hours a day.

16. NO CUTTING OR TRIMMING TREES.

17. No strings, lines, or clotheslines. Dryers are available in the laundry.

18. No motorized bikes will be permitted except for entering and exiting the campground.

19. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including while in the showers, restrooms, and playground.

20. PLEASE STAY OFF THE ROCKS.

21. NO POLITICAL SIGNS OR FLAGS.

22. USE OF VOLTAGE REGULATORS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

ALTITUDE SICKNESS

Altitude sickness is an illness that can affect travelers at high altitude (typically above 8,000 feet). In most cases, the symptoms are mild, but in rare circumstances can be life threatening. Symptoms generally associated with mild to moderate sickness include: dizziness, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, rapid pulse, and shortness of breath.

Keys to preventing altitude sickness include:

• Drink plenty of fluids before and during your trip.

• Avoid being very active after you arrive.

• Avoid alcohol.

• Eat regular meals high in carbohydrates.

• Boost Oxygen available in Gift Shop

People with severe mountain sickness may need to be admitted to a hospital.

Please be aware that old mines exist throughout Central City and Black Hawk and can be unmarked and dangerous. Please remain on paved streets. The Park Guidelines on page 2 are incorporated into the rental agreement by reference. Failure to abide by the rules will terminate your stay without refund.
